B. She bought the bag at the wrong price.

C. The handles of the bag fell off.

Here we go.

Alexis: Caspar, what do you think of this bag? Give me your honest opinion of it.

Caspar: Honestly…it looks kind of cheap.

Alexis: Exactly. But look at the picture of it on their website.

Caspar: That picture makes it look expensive!

Alexis: I bought it online from these guys.

Caspar: They should be ashamed of themselves!

Alexis: I agree. I'm ashamed of myself for falling for that trick.

Caspar: Why don't you ask for a refund?

Alexis: They're very sneaky. It says they don't do refunds. All sales are final.

Caspar: What?!

The answer is A. The bag looks different from the picture on the website.

Deepak: Yes, it's a huge weight off my shoulders. I thought I would have to pay more.

Barbara: You should hire an accountant.

Deepak: You're always so helpful, Barbara.

Cynthia: Um, I have to tell you something. I'm no longer the manager for the Desperate Rats.

Derek: What happened?

Cynthia: I quit. I've decided to become a teacher.

Derek: Wow, I had no idea.

Cynthia: That's what Bill said too. Things are still up in the air, though.

Doug: This paper is kind of expensive. Are you sure you need 100 sheets?

Shiho: Yes, I want to make at least 100 origami cranes for our eco-tour guests.

Doug: Why bother? It's not worth the effort.

Shiho: It's not that hard, Doug. People will love it.

SAY IT IN ENGLISH!

Situation 1:

A: It looks like your ex asked Helen out.

B: Really? What a relief! Even after we broke up, he kept calling me every day, and it made me sick. That's a huge weight off my shoulders! I can finally relax.

Really? What a relief! Even after we broke up, he kept calling me every day, and it made me sick.

What a relief!

That's a huge weight off my shoulders! I can finally relax.

Situation 2:

A: That's a nice jacket you're wearing.

B: Oh, thanks. Actually, I made a terrible mistake this morning. I forgot to remove the big price tag from it and went to meet an important client. The guy was laughing so hard. It was so embarrassing!

Oh, thanks. Actually, I made a terrible mistake this morning. I forgot to remove the big price tag from it and went to meet an important client. The guy was laughing so hard.

It was so embarrassing!

ちなみにI was so embarrassed!

ENDING

Onishi: Hey David. Is that a new sweater you're wearing?

David: Oh, yeah, it is. How did you know?

Rosa: Uh, you seem to have a tag still on it.

David: Oh, no. Not again. Oh!
