今回名古屋タロットスクールを開催することで、総合監修のグッドニーさんにミステリースクールのタロットスクールについてお伺いしたいと思います。
★1. It's been five years since the Tarot School opened. What do you think about the school's present situation?
モダンミステリースクールで5年ほど経ちますが、現在の状況についてどう思われますか？
Actually I started teaching Tarot in Japan in 1997, it was one of the first seminar in Japan with the Adept Program. Then the Tarot School started in 2006 so its been 11 years since we started teaching this format.
実は、日本でタロットを初めて教えたのは１９９７年。アデプトと共に日本で最初に開催したセミナーのひとつです。そして２００６年にはタロットスクールも始まり、今の形で教え始めてから１１年になります。
★そ、そうなんですね！！それは知りませんでした。僕がスクールに来たのは2004年の頃ですので。。。
The Tarot School Japan is doing very well and has graduated hundreds of students. Many of them are doing very well as Tarot Readers and some are even on TV doing this work. It is a very easy way to do service to others and at the same time to have a full time job if we chose to do that.
タロットスクールジャパンはとても上手くいっており、卒業生も何百人といます。多くの卒業生がタロットリーダーとして成功しており、中にはテレビで活躍している人もいます。タロットは人々に奉仕するのにとても適した方法であり、フルタイムの仕事と平行しながらも行えることです。
★2. Could you tell us how you came to study Tarot at the Goden Dawn and what the classes were like?
ゴールデンドーンでご自身がタロットを学ばれた経緯や当時のクラスの事について教えて下さい。
I got my first Tarot Deck in 1972 in Iceland at the Theosophical Society Headquarters and I loved the energy right away. I started out teaching my self and then later that year I got a simple class from a man at the Society. Then many years later I started the real study in the Mystery School lineage through the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn in London and I became a "real" Tarot Reader. It was so amazing to get to study the real thing and I was very lucky to learn this from the grand master of Tarot in the school.
１９７２年、アイスランドの神智学協会本部で最初のタロットデッキを手に入れました。
始めは独学でしたが、その同じ年に神智学協会の人から簡単なレッスンを受けました。そして何年も後ロンドンにて黄金の夜明け団（Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn）を通しミステリースクールのリネージの元、本格的な学びを始め、「真」のタロットリーダーになりました。「本物」を学べたのはアメイジングでしたし、スクールのタロットのグランドマスターのもとで学べたのはとてもラッキーでした。

★3.What does tarot mean to you?
グッドニーさんにとって、タロットとは何でしょうか？
Tarot is a representative of the hidden inner world of our inner being and mind. It is a powerful tool for transformation and experience.
All predictions such as channeling or Tarot or Astrology etc, is all information that can be changed. We do these readings for people not to tell them that this is the way your life will be but rather, this is the way it will be UNLESS you change something, unless you take steps now to counter the influences of the planets etc. When we know what the world around us is doing we can avoid bad things. It is like knowing that a bullet train is going to crash, then you dont get on the train, you dont be a victim. So, for me Tarot is about being smart and having a good life by knowing in advance what could go wrong and what to do about it. Tarot gives us these informations!
タロットは私たちの内なる存在とマインドの隠された内なる世界です。変容と経験のパワフルなツールです。
チャネリング、タロット、占星術などの占いは、変えることができる情報です。
人のためにリーディングをする時私たちは あなたの人生はこうなる と伝えているのではなく、何も変えなかったら、惑星達の影響に対処する行動を今とらなかったら、もしそうしなかったら、こうなる。と伝えているのです。周りの世界がしている事が分かったら、悪い出来事を避ける事ができます。たとえば電車が事故に合うと知っているとすると、電車には乗らないし、被害者にはならないでしょう。
ですから私にとってタロットとは、賢くあり、何が起こりうるのかを知り、どう対処したら良いのか知っている事によって良い人生を送ること。タロットはこういった情報を私たちに与えてくれるのです！
