毎朝５分の英文日記を利用して
久しぶりにネイティブによる英文添削に
チャレンジしてみた結果を恥ずかしながら公開した前回の投稿。
その後思いついて、同じ文章を添削をしてもらったことのある
先生を指名して送ってみました。
夕方４時前に送っていた添削
夜１０時前には返ってきました！
最初に書いた英文は前々回の投稿を参照ください。
添削してもらったあとに自分の書いた英文を見ると、
間違いがたくさんで恥ずかしくなりますが、
こういうことを繰り返しでいくと
急いで書いたとしても
ちゃんと定冠詞も複数形も時制も正しく書けるように
なっていくのだろうと信じて続けてみようと思います。
私が利用している「英語便」、料金が気になるところですよね。
英語便の料金は、チケットを（５０枚）購入して
添削をしてもらう時、２００文字ごとにチケットを１枚使います。
チケットは半年間有効。追加購入するとチケットの有効期限が延びます。
前回はベーシックの添削でしたが、今回はプレミアム添削といって、
ベーシックの添削の倍のチケットが必要。
そしてひと月以内だったら、添削内容について質問も受け付けています。
初回は１枚４００円くらい、２回目以降の購入は１枚３００円になり
１００枚、２００枚、５００枚と安くなります。
私はいつも５０枚で更新しているのですが、
これまであまり使わないで、半年ごとに更新だけしていたので
９００枚くらい溜まってしまったのですが、
家族で使えることを知ったので娘にもシェアしています。
毎日の英文日記を添削してもらい、消化していこうと思っています。

さてさて同じ文章で添削２度目、その結果は！
先生からのコメント
| 01. Use capital letters for COVID-19 |
| No need to use "of" here. You are a "Laughter Yoga instructor." |
| It's not passive. Everything "has changed" as a result of the pandemic. |
| No need for "at all." Perhaps you can say "everything has completely changed." |
| One job, so add "a" here. |
| We apply + to + a company for a job. |
| The comma isn't needed here. |
| No need for "of" here. You could say: "It was because of taking care of my father." |
| This is a bit unclear. Please read the one point advice for more on "after" and "since" and "later." |
| *Note that when you say anything more than "one year," it is always a plural noun, so "one and a half years" needs the plural noun (years). |
| Plural noun for all such "lessons" you did there. |
| Good comment. |
| No need for "be" here. You + really appreciate + someone. |
| You can say "there are too many staff" at the clinic or, "the clinic has too many staff." |
| No need for "if" here. You were worried + you couldn't do this. |
| I'm sorry but this sentence is very unclear and I really have no clear idea of what "I wished to get a job towards universe" means. I wonder if you mean: "I wanted to get a job at a university." I don't know... |
| The phrase is always "a few days later." |
| "One of" + plural noun. "One of" means "one of many." (one of my friends) |
| We look for + something/someone. We look forward to + something exciting. "I look forward to your next Laughter Yoga video." |
| One job, so it's "an interview." |
| It's either "the next month" or "the following month" (the month after the interview). |
| This is now "the" specific school you work at. |
| We "communicate" with other people. Use "communicate" as your verb. "Get communicate" is not grammatical. |
| It's tough + ING (doing something). You don't need "for" here. |
| Three + plural noun (sites) |
| Use "sixty-year-old" as a compound adjective before the noun "woman." |
| I'm + ING (enjoying). "I'm checking your essay now." |
| It's always "a few more years" and never "a more few years." |
| It hasn't happened yet so you can't use the past tense. You will do this until he + finishes. |
| "People" = multiple people (they), so they "want" to do something. |
| We want to do something "more than" ever. "I stopped enjoying teaching during the pandemic but nowadays I want to teach people more than ever." |
| We want to do so + to recover + from + something. |
| We "enjoy" life. We do not "spend" life. We have to add more detail with "spend." "He spent his life teaching English." Basically, we spend time + doing something. |
| Add "the" before the pandemic at the start of the sentence. |
| Great closing comments. やはり、たくさん間違いがあるので、 添削しがいのある文章だったようです(^^; Andrew先生とは何度かやりとりしているので 久しぶり！元気そうで良かった。とこの後にコメントいただき ご自身のこのコロナ渦での体験なども知らせてくれました。 プレミアム添削、倍の金額になるのですが 今日も６時間で返事があったように とにかく早い！ 急いで添削してほしいときにはありがたいです。 そしてもう一つ、先生からのワンポイントアドバイスもあります。 ワンポイント アドバイス"First I got a job as a baby sitter , then I got a job at a clinic after one and half year later since I asked." Do you mean you got the job as a baby sitter and then after 18 months had passed, you got the job in the clinic? If so, say: 言いたいことをより分かりやすく伝えられるように、考えて ３パターンの言い方を教えてくださいました。 自分の話したい内容をこうやって添削してもらっていけば 話せるトピックが増えていき、それと共に表現も増えていきそうで 続けていくのが楽しみです！ あとやっぱり、「宇宙に向かって願った」のところは分かりにくかったようで(^^;;; 別の機会に私の考え方を日記に書いて、説明して、 正しい表現をゲットしようと思っています。 実は、海外の友達から頼まれた英文を急ぎで送らなければいけないので このあとAndrew先生に添削してもらおうと思っています。
