アメリカ合衆国 イリノイ州・シカゴ出身の５人組ロックバンド。
Survivor - Eye Of The Tiger ＜１９８２年＞
※ ご存じ、シルベスタースタローン・主演映画 「ロッキー３」 のテーマ曲。
ロッキーのような不屈の精神で、自分自身を奮い立たせる時に聴きたい曲です。
主題歌は当初、クイーンの 「地獄へ道連れ（Another One bites the dust）」 が候補だったそうですが話がまとまらず、
代わりの主題歌の作成が当時、この無名だったシカゴ出身のロックバンド、サバイバーに託されました。

奮い立ち 再びこの "道" へ帰ってきた
"真実の自分"がやるべき事をやり、チャンスを掴んだこの "道" へ
今また その長い道のりを歩み その時、自分の足でここに立つ
ただ一人の男として そして 自分の意思を貫く為に
