We have a shortage of workforce in some fields. For example, we used to take a bus going to our family gravesite but the bus company stopped its operation 2 years ago due to a lack of bus drivers.
Now we have no choice but to take a taxi but it is difficult to call a taxi because of a shortage of taxi drivers.
The reason for this is based on the problem called ‘aging society’.
As you know a large number of people so called ‘postwar baby boomers’ are now senior people and most of them retired and are pensioners.
We need to make good use of woman power and senior power to cope with this problem.
We must provide better condition for women to work and healthy senior people should be reemployed.
労働力不足がかなり分野で顕著な問題になっています。例えば私たちは従来は先祖のお墓参りにはバスで行ったのですが運転手不足でバスの運行が2年前にストップされました。今はタクシーを利用せざるを得ないのですが、タクシーも運転手不足でなかなか来ないという状況です。
この問題の背景には高齢化社会の進行があります。いわゆる戦後ベビーブーマーと呼ばれる世代の大量の人々が高齢化してこの世代の大多数が退職し年金生活者になったことです。
この問題に対応するためには女性パワーと高齢者パワーの活用が必要です。つまり女性が働ける条件整備と元気な高齢者の再雇用です。
寿命が伸びたということは元気な高齢者の数も多いということです。彼は経験とスキルに富んだ労働力です。支えられ側から支える側に復帰できる
高齢者はかなりいると思います。
