東京は曇りや雨が続いていて、すっきりしないお天気です。

It has been cloudy and rainy in Tokyo these days.

さて、今週末から恵比寿ガーデンプレイスで"恵比寿麦酒祭り2016"が開催されます。

"YESBISU BEER FESTIVAL 2016" will be held in Ebisu Garden Place this weekend.

現在着々と準備が進んでおり、入口はこのようになっていました。

本場ドイツのビヤホールを彷彿とさせる恵比寿麦酒祭りのメイン会場、恵比寿ビヤホールでは、オープンテラスで限定のビールをお楽しみいただけます

You can enjoy limited beer at Yebisu beer hall. It is open terrace.

また、フードコートではビールに合う生ハムやたこ焼き等のお食事もございます。

まだ途中でしたが、このようになっていました。

At the Food Court, there are Prosciutto, Takoyaki and other great shops.

他にもエビスビール記念館やシャトー広場でのイベントも行われます。

東京都写真美術館 リニューアルオープン！

9月に入り、夏もそろそろ終盤に近づいて参りましたがまだまだ暑いですね！

We are finally in September, though the summer is close to end soon, it's still so hot everyday.

さて、9月は欧米では「Back to School」と言われ、新学期が始まる月です。

海外生活をしていた私もなんだか9月は自然と心機一転の気分になります。

September is the month of so-called, "Back to school"in Westren and European countries, it's the month the new term starts.

I myself have spend years overseas, somehow I have a feeling of fresh start in September.

さて、本日はサービスアパートメントから徒歩5分以内にある東京都写真美術館のリニューアルのお知らせです。ここ2年ほど、改装工事の為クローズしていたのですが、また新たにオープンしました。

Well, today we would like to inform you of the renewal of Tokyo Photographic Museum which had been closed for 2 years for the big maintenace, and at last it came back!

ロゴも新しく変わり、とてもモダンな印象になったように感じます。

The Logo has been renewed as well, it gives more modern impression.

秋と言えば、芸術。写真を撮る人も見るだけの人も、ここからはお散歩がてらお楽しみいただける施設となっております。

Talking about Autume, it's the season of Art. This museum is very nice place to walk about for anyone who is a photography lover or not.

なんと、ここ。日本で唯一、写真と映像を専門に扱った美術館だそう。そのため、関連書類等のストックも充実。館内には、オシャレなカフェやショップ、１Fには映画上映も行われるスペースも完備。

This museum is the only one in Japan which specialize in Photography and moving images.

Therefore, the documents are fully stocked, also there are a nice cafe, shop and a space for viewing the movies on the 1st floor.

今週末からは、「マザーテレサ」の映画も上映するそうですよ！

Autumn Event!

みなさん、こんにちは

今日で８月も終わりですね

明日から９月ということで、本日は秋のイベントをご紹介いたします。

I will introduce Autumn Event in Roppongi.

六本木のミッドタウンでは９月２日（金）から１０月２日（日）まで、"Midtown Relax Park 2016" が開催されます。

こちらは、ミッドタウンの緑豊かな屋外で、お食事や映画を楽しみながらゆったりと寛げるイベントとなっているそうです。

In Roppongi Midtown, "Midtown Relax Park 2016" will be held from 2th September to 2th October.

You can enjoy eating and watching movie in the greens of Midtown.

MIDPARK LOUGE (ミッド パーク ラウンジ)

ザ・リッツカールトン東京が運営する「ミッドパークラウンジ」では、モエ・エ・シャンドンや美味しいお食事と共に贅沢な秋の夜長をお過ごしいただけます。

Midpark lounge is managed by The Ritz-Calton Tokyo. You will spend luxuary and relaxing autumunal night time with Moet and Chandon and delicious food.

今回は９月１５日（土）の中秋の名月の下、「月見ヨガ」が開催されます。

Yoga event will be held in the night time on weekdays and in the daytime on weekends.

'Moon Yoga' will take place on 15th September when it is the day of harvest moon.

花火大会 Fireworks!

今週は2週間続いたオリンピックも終わり、少し淋しい気もします。

The Olympics have finally ended this week and feel a bit vacant after such an enthusiasm. 

でも、夏はまだまだ続いております

But, Summer is not over yet!

本日は、東京近郊の花火大会の情報をお届けしたいと思います

Today, we would like to give you some information about the fireworks of Tokyo area.

私も、先週末は毎年恒例の多摩川花火大会へ行って参りました。

I went to watch the Firework of Tamagawa, the seasonal event for many people.

台風の影響により、途中急なゲリラ豪雨にも見舞われる中、沢山の浴衣姿の方がいらっしゃいました。

Because of the arrival of typhoon, we were caught by the sudden rain, there were many viewers dressed in Yukata.

午後7時、大きな轟と共に大輪の花火が夜空に上がり、群衆からは歓声が上がりました。感動の一言！それは、見事な作品でした

Just at 7 p.m., there appered a huge firework in the night sky with a roar,

then came the shout of joy from the crowd!　How beautiful they were! Such Great works!

花火師の方々の苦労はきっと、多くの人々の楽しみとなることで報われるのでしょうね。本当に夢のあるお仕事です！

Many hardworks of  the makers must be paid by giving people a enoumous joy. It's really a dream-giving job!

今週末も各地で花火大会は行われるようです。

オリンピック☆Summer Olympic

みなさん、こんにちは

Hi

東京は昨夜台風の影響で暴風雨でしたが、今日は台風一過でとても暑く快晴です

It was horrible weather in Tokyo last night because of typhoon but now it is a clear weather after a typhoon passed. Also it is very hot and humid.

8月6日より、リオデジャネイロオリンピックが始まりましたが、みなさんご覧になっていますか？

ブラジルと日本は12時間の時差があるので、毎日寝不足の方も多いかと思います。

Do you watch 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio De Janeiro?

Because there is a 12 hour time defference between Tokyo and Rio De Janeiro, many Japanese people don't get enough sleep since it started.

現在の日本のメダル数は、金：7　銀：4　銅：18　合計：29　と現在5位とのことです。

特に柔道と水泳では多くのメダルを獲得し、体操の内村航平選手は2連覇を達成しました

あと4日でいくつメダルが獲れるか楽しみですね！

Team Japan's Medals are Gold:7 Silver:4 Bronze:18 Total:29 and it is fith place so far. 

Espesially in Judo and Swimming, they won many medals. Mr. Kohei Uchimura (Men's Gymnastics) won his second straight victory in Olympic game!

How's your contry going?

I'm looking forward to the rest of games.

そして4年後のオリンピックは東京で開催ですね

新しいスタジアムが建設され、関東各地で様々な競技が行われる予定とのことですので、こちらもまた楽しみです。

Next Summer Olympics will be held in Tokyo!

New stadium will be built and competitions are held in various places in Kanto area.

Picnic YOGA

こんにちは。　皆様、如何お過ごしでしょうか？

Hello, How are you everyone?

先日は不安定な天気が続き、私も朝方の雷の音で目を覚ましてしまいました。

it passed such an unstable weather early this week, I was awoken by the loud sound of the thunder.

今日からは日本の夏らしい晴れたお天気で、気持ちが良いですね！

It's such a great weather today, like japanese summer, very hot and humid, but feels nice!

今日は、今月から恵比寿ガーデンプレイスで開催されている「ピクニック・ヨガ」のご紹介です。

I would like to inform you of 「Picnic Yoga」taking pace since this month at the Ebisu Garden Place.

このイベント、なんと参加は無料

Anyone can join this event for free!

まだヨガ未体験の方や、通勤前や後に体をリフレッシュされたい方などどなたでも楽しんで頂けるようです。

It's open for thouse who haven't tried Yoga, or those who wants to refresh your body before and after the work.

開催は、以下の通りです。

Time schedule is as below.

≪金曜≫　7 : 30 ～　8 : 30  / ≪月曜・水曜≫　19 :00 ～　20 : 00  *最終日の26日(金）は夜も実施。

≪Ｆｒｉ.≫　   7: 30 ～　8 : 30 / ≪Mon・Wed≫  19 : 00 ～ 20 : 00   * Open on 26th, the last Friday.

また、8月18日(木）には、月に一度のチャンスの「満月ヨガ」というものもあるらしいです。う～ん、興味深い。

Also on Thursday the 18th, you can join so-called "Full-moon YOGA", once in a month chance, humm, interesting...

夏の朝や夜に、少しだけ暑さを忘れて体の中からスッキリしてみては如何でしょうか？

Why don't you spare your time in the coolness of the morning or night  to feel physically refresh?

やっと関東地方の梅雨明けが発表されましたね！

Hi!

Finally it was announded that the rainy season ended around Kanto-area.

夏といえば…海！

ということで、都内から行けるビーチ"由比ヶ浜"をご紹介いたします。

We will introduce one of the nearest beach "Yuigahama"  from Tokyo.

恵比寿からは、JR横須賀線直通の湘南新宿ラインで1本。

約50分で由比ヶ浜の最寄駅、鎌倉駅に行くことができます。

From JR Ebisu station, it takes about 50 min via Shonan Shinjuku Line through the Yokosuka Line. The nearest station to the beach is "Kamakura".

鎌倉駅から徒歩約15-20分で由比ヶ浜に到着です。

It takes 15-20min by walk from Kamakura Sta. to the beach.

由比ヶ浜の海岸は比較的長く、たくさんの海の家があります。

近年はSAVONやMEVIUSなどの企業が運営する海の家も多く、

シャワー等の設備が充実しているので、女性には嬉しいですよね！

There are many kinds of beach houses along the beach.

and some beach houses have clean shower rooms.

また、ビーチパラソルやビーチベッドのレンタルもあるので

手ぶらで行っても安心です

You don't have to worry about beach stuff because beach parasol, beach bed and other rental goods will be availabe at almost all of beach houses. 

食べ物もエスニック料理や海鮮焼き、バーベキューなど様々な種類の料理をお楽しみ頂けます。

You can enjoy eating ethnic food, seafoos, barbecue and so on.

恵比寿駅前盆踊り Bon Odori Festival

皆様、如何お過ごしでしょうか？

本日も朝から雨が降っていて少し肌寒いくらいです。

It's raining from the morning today and feel a bit chilly.

梅雨はもうすぐ明けるとのことですが、、、

The rainy season should be over soon...

さて、本日は恵比寿で毎年恒例の盆踊りについてご紹介したいと思います。

Well, We like to introduce you the yearly event in Ebisu, "Bon Odori Festival."

日本の夏の風物詩とも言える盆踊りは、子供からお年寄りまで楽しめるイベントです。

This is a Japanese traditional festival in summer season, for which everyone can enjoy from kids to elderly.

場所はちょうど恵比寿駅の目の前、バスのロータリーがある広場で行われます。

It will happen just infront of Ebisu Station where the bus terminal is.

威勢の良い太鼓の音と始まり、浴衣を着た沢山の人びとがと一緒に踊りまくります。

Start off with a rythmical beats of Taiko, people in yukata begin to dance all at once.

その様子は、仕事帰りのサラリーマン達にとっても和やかな光景ではないでしょうか？

That view must be so enjoyable to watch for all the business men after work.

駅の近くには、出店も何件か出店しますので、踊らずともビールとおつまみ片手に雰囲気だけも

お楽しみいただけると思います。

There will be stalls of food arond there too, so even if you don't dance you can still enjoy with a beer and snack food.

ただし、19時近くにはかなり混み合います！

BUT, it will be sooo crowded around 7 p.m. onwards!

お子様連れの方は、迷子にならないようにお気をつけくださいませ。

Please pay attention to your kinds if you bring them along.

今年の開催日時は7月29日(金）、7月30日(土）の二日間、18：00～21：30だそうです。

This year, it will take place on July 29th (Fri.) and July 30th(Sat.), 6:00 p.m.-9:30 p.m.

セミが鳴き始めました。

もうすっかり夏の天気です

It is still rainy and cloudy days in Tokyo.

But cicadas begins to make sounds already.

Summer has come

当アパートメントに隣接する恵比寿ガーデンプレイスでは

明日から2つ夏のイベントが始まります！

2 summer events start from tomorrow at Ebisu Garden Place.

ひとつは

Ｔｈｅ　ｏｎｅ　ｉｓ

「恵比寿ガーデンピクニック/YEBISU GARDEN PICNIC」

センター広場にて、映画鑑賞会やヨガ、コンサート等が行われます。

You can enjoy movies, yoga and concerts at the outside central hall.

広場となりのブースでは、天然氷を使用したかき氷が、数量限定で販売されるそうです。

是非食べてみたいですね！

At the side of the hall, there will be "Shaved ice".

This shaved ice is made from naturally freezing water in winter.

You should try this!

そしてもうひとつは毎年行われている

and the other is

「サマーテラス2016/Ｓｕｍｍｅｒ　Ｔｅｒａｃｅ　2016」   です

解放感のあるテラスで、ドリンクはもちろん、フードのメニューも充実しているようです。

お昼のカフェや、お仕事帰りにちょっと一杯…等お昼から夜までお楽しみいただけます。

ここ数日は暑い日が続いたり、急な雨が降ったりと不安定な天気が続いておりますが

It's been a week with such an unstable weather, hot day and sudden rains came one after another.

ご体調を崩されていたりはしませんか？

Hope your are doing fine inspite of it.

そして本日7月7日（木）は、嬉しいことにとても清々しい晴れの陽気に恵まれています。

...and today's weather, it's a fine day to all of us' joy!

7月7日・・・日本では七夕祭りの日ですね。

7th of July....it's TANABATA festival in Japan.

ここで、海外のお客様に向けて七夕のお祝いの仕方をご紹介したいと思います。

Today, we would  like to introduce all the customers from overseas how we celebrate this event.

用意するものは、笹の木と短冊、そしてデコレーションの為の色紙などです。

All you need are a banboo branch, some coloured papers, (for writing and for decoration.)

短冊に自分のお願い事をペンで書いたら、それを糸で笹の葉にくくりつけます。　

Write your wish on a sheet of paper and simply cling it to the banboo leaves with a string.

たったこれだけ。

That's it!

子供たちにとっても、大人の私たちにとっても、季節を感じる楽しいイベントです。

This is one of the enjoyable event for both kids and adults, which is also very seasonal.
