皆様いかがお過ごしですか?クリスマスも終わり今年もあと数日で締めくくりですね。

今年一年が皆様にとって良い年であったことを祈ります。

サービスアパートメント恵比寿ではクリスマスツリーを片付けるのと同時に、新年を迎える準備を整えています。玄関の角松にはお気づきになられましたでしょうか?

We cleaned up Christmas tree and at the same time we are preparing for new year.

Did you notice kadomatsu at our entrance?

既にご存知の方もいるかもしれませんが今日は角松について少しご紹介したいと思います。

You may know what is kadomatsu already, but we would like to introduce you the meaning of kadomatsu.

お正月というのは元々年の神が、地上に降りてくるといわれており、角松はその年の神に、自分の家をおしらせする為にあるようです。

In japan we believe god of the new year come to the ground in New Year season to bring happiness, The kadomatsu, considered temporary housing for kami (gods), are placed on the front door, to welcome the toshigami, the god of the new year.

年の神が来た家は今年１年の幸福を、もたらしてくれると言われています。

It is believed that toshigami brings prosperity and good luck in the next year to the families (or the businesses) protected by kadomatsu.

門松は沢山のお家があるので、歳神が自分の家を見つけられず、素通りされないための目印だったのですね！また松は、「永久のシンボル」として、考えられてるからのようです。竹のイメージが強いですが、松に大きな意味があったのですね！

The kadomatsu, was a symbols of our houses for the god of the new year to make it easy to find each houses.also matsu(pine)is symbol for permanebtly,we have image for bamboo for kadomatsu but matsu(pine)had big meaning!

Ao no Dokutsu ('Blue Cavern') illumination show

みなさんいかがお過ごしですか?

Hello, everyone hope you are doing well.

クリスマスに向けて恵比寿でもすでにイルミネーションが始まっていますがすでにいかれましたか?

Christmas illumination has started in Ebisu area already, have you visited?

この時期は他の場所でも色々なユニークなイルミネーションがあり、今日はその代表的な１つである渋谷と代々木公園エリアのイルミネーションをご紹介したいと思います。

There are many other unique illumination in Tokyo, we would like to introduce you yoyogi park one near shibuya.

こちらではイタリアのカプリ島にある「青の洞窟」をイメージしたイルミネーションが登場。

元々は2014年に中目黒で開催されており大人気でした。

Ao no Dokutsu ('Blue Cavern'), this illumination show was a huge hit when it took place

along the Meguro River back in 2014.

 

昨年は惜しまれながらも開催自体がなく、今回2016年11月22日（火）から2017年1月9日（月）の間、渋谷を美しい青へと染めています。

Brought back for an encore run this year, it's set to engulf the backstreets of Shibuya in a mysterious glow from November 22 to January 9.

公園通りから代々木公園まで、約750mに渡る景色が、通りを彩る。木々に灯された青い光と水面の反射が織りなす幻想的な空間で素敵な夜を過ごしてみてはいかがでしょうか。

Set up along a 750m stretch covering Koen-dori all the way to Yoyogi Park, thousands of blue LEDs reflect off the ground to create an immersive light-up experience.

今日の東京はとても風が強く寒いですが、いいお天気です

It is windy and cold but sunny today.

みなさん、日本の冬の食べ物といえば何を思い浮かべますか？

やはり鍋ですよね！

What do you think of Japanese winter dish?　Of course, Nabe (a hotpot dich)!

"鍋料理"もたくさんありますよね

すきやき、しゃぶしゃぶ、もつ鍋、水炊き…

当アパートメント最寄の恵比寿駅には、人気の鍋屋さんが多数あります。

There are many kinds of Nabe dish. For example, Sukiyaki, Shabushabu and Motsu nabe.

In Ebisu area, you can find lots of famous Nabe restaurant.

しゃぶしゃぶですと、食べ放題で人気の"温野菜"や焼肉で有名なKintanから新しく出店した、"しゃぶしゃぶKINTAN"がございます。

For Shabushabu, "Onyasai" and "Shabushabu KINTAN" are very famous.

Onyasai has a all you can eat course and this is the most popular one. You can eat not only meat but also vegitables, mashrooms, tofu and so on.

もつ鍋では、"蟻月"が有名ですね！

"Aritsuki" is famous for Motsu nabe.

最近は居酒屋さんでももつ鍋があったり、ベースのスープを選べたりするので、いろいろなお店に行って食べ比べてみるのもいいですね！

You can enjoy Motsu nabe in many Izakaya restaurants and can choose soup.

鍋は家でも手軽に好きなものを入れて作れますし、お肉もお野菜もたくさん摂れるので、健康にとても良い料理だと思います。

寒い日が続きますので、お鍋を食べて暖かく過ごしましょう

For making Nabe, you can put whatever you want (ex. vegitables and meat). Also, it is good for cold weather like these days.

クリスマスツリー

今朝は、とても寒かったですね!　ニュースによると、50年振りの11月の雪だそうです。

 It was very cold this morning, the weather cast said it snow in November for the first time in 50 years!

電車も遅延が立て続いていたようですが、皆様ご出勤は大丈夫でしたでしょうか？

 Some transportations were delayed too, hope you were all fine coming to work etc.

さて、そろそろ12月に向け私たちサービスアパートメントも冬支度を始めております。

 Well, we are starting to get ready for the coming December.

12月と言えばやはりクリスマス!

 Main event in December is Christmas!

まだまだ先にはなりますが、楽しいイベントは早い方が良し！という事で、今日はフロントスタッフ全員で1階のロビーにクリスマスツリーを飾りつけました。

It maybe a bit early for it, but we Front desk team decorated the tree today.

 

毎年のことにはなりますが、これがあるだけでぱっと明るく気分も楽しくなります！

Though it's an annual thing, it's still exciting as it lights up the whole atomosphere!

皆様のお家でもツリーは飾られますか？

Do you also prepare the Christmas tree at home?

恵比寿ガーデンプレイスでは、只今クリスマスマーケットも開催中です。

 Now at Ebisu Garden Place, the Christmas market is taken place.

本場ヨーロッパのような可愛らしいお店が並び、シナモン・ナッツやチョコレートなどの甘い香りが漂っています。
Lovely stools like ones in Europe are lined up, you can smell the cinnamon, nuts and chocolate.

ツリーやイルミネーションなどを眺めて歩きながら、クリスマスの雰囲気を味わうだけでもワクワクしますよね。

 Just a stroll around the area watching the trees and the illumination must be enough to enjoy the holiday mood.

Hi!

一気に冷え込み、東京は12月並みの寒さとのことです

It is very cold today in Tokyo.

さて、以前こちらでお伝えしておりましたものが完成しました

恵比寿ガーデンプレイスにて"Baccarat Eternal Lights" が今年も開催されます

The yearly thing which we announced before has been completed.

"Baccarat Eternal Lights" will be held in Ebisu Garden Place.

毎年見ても、煌びやかでとてもきれいです

また、振り返るとこのようなイルミネーションになっております

It is so gorgeous and beautifu!

If you turn around, you can see the illumination like this.

赤いじゅうたんの両側の木々にも電飾があり

一番上にはクリスマスツリーが飾られています

Trees are decorated with lights and big christmas tree is on the top.

すっかりクリスマスの気分になりますね♪

12月に入るととても人が多くなるので、まだ少ない今の時期がおススメです！

You cann feel early Christmas mood.

It will be crowded in December so I recommend to go and see earlier.

New Bakery

こんにちは。皆様、如何お過ごしでしょうか？

最近は日を追うごとに寒くなってきましたね。

It's getting colder and cloder as days pass by.

さて、本日は恵比寿ガーデンプレイスに先週土曜に新しくオープンしたパン屋さん、「俺のベーカリー＆カフェ」のご紹介です。場所はガーデンプレイスの入口すぐ左。サンジェルマンがあった恵比寿ガーデンプレイス時計広場です。

We would like to introduce you the new bakery recently opened in side the Ebisu garden place. The name of the shop is "Ore no Bakary and Cafe", you can find it just on the left hand side from the entrance of the garden place where there used to be Saint German cafe.

「俺のフレンチやイタリアン」はスターシェフたちがプロデュースしている上質でボリュームのあるメニューをお手ごろな価格で提供いる企業です。

It is run by the company who also runs popular restaurant as  "Ore no French""Ore no Italian", where they offer you the high quality dish with low cost.

先日、プレオープンとして、オープン前に「俺の生食パン」（1000円）を無料プレゼント引き換え券というチラシが入っていました。さっそく休憩時に足をはこんだのです。。。朝から並んでいた方々でもう終了とのことで悲しくもゲットできず。

The other day, I found the reflet in the mailbox saying they would offer the customer in advance of their opening the free ticket to get the loaf of their bread. I went there during my lunch break, but sadly it was impossible to get as there had been a long queue fromt the mornign already!

ウェブサイトを検索すると、どうやら販売する食パンは3種類、生食パン1,000円、山型食パン900円、マスカルポーネとハチミツの食パン900円とのこと。

Due to theie website, they sell 3 kinds of bread, raw bread JPY1,000, yamagata white bread JPY900　and bread with mascarpone and honey JPY900.

私の大好きな菓子パンがあるかどうかが気になるところ。

カフェも隣接しているらしく、どんな味のこだわりパンなのかとても楽しみです。

I'm anxious that they also sell sweet bread of my favorites too.

昨日おとといと、東京は夏のような暑さでした

10月6日、新しいレストランゾーン"BRICK END"が、恵比寿ガーデンプレイスにオープンしました

New restaurants zone "BRICK END" opened in Ebisu Garden Place on 6th, October.

カレー・ハンバーガー・和食・バーなどの飲食店が入っており、深夜までお酒やお食事が楽しめるスペースとなっています。

午前11時半から営業しているお店もございますので、ランチタイムもご利用頂けます。

There are restaurants (Curry, humberger, Japanese dish, bar) in BRICK END. Some of them  open from 11:30am, so you can enjoy lunch and dinner.

また、恵比寿ガーデンプレイスの38階 DINING & SKY Top of Yebisuに新しく2つのレストランが10月28日よりオープンいたします。

Also, two new reutaurants will open in DINING & SKY Top of Yebisu on 38th floor in Ebisu Garden Place from 28th, October.

おでん 「こんぶや」と焼鳥 「えびす坂 鳥幸」です。

One is Oden "Kombuya" and the other is Yakitori "Ebisu saka Toriko".

Both Oden and Yakitori are very famous and popular Japanse dish. If you haven't tried yet, please try!

恵比寿リトル・ハワイ

こんにちは。皆様いかがお過ごしでしょうか？

Hello,everyone!  How are you?

そろそろ夏も終盤に差し掛かり、少しだけ秋の気配を感じつつあります。

The summer seems to be drawing back and slowly starting to feel the touch of Autumn.

そんな季節と逆行して笑、来月より恵比寿駅隣接のアトレにてハワイ・イベントが行われるようです！その情報をいち早く入手いたしましたので、少しだけご紹介させて頂きます。

On the contarary to this season, there will be an interesting Hawaiian event coming up at the Atre near the Ebisu Station next month! Today, we would like to introduce you a little bit about it.

その名も「LITTLE HAWAII／ リトル・ハワイ」。こちらは、『恵比寿文化祭2016』の中の一つで、今年でなんと6回目の開催となるそうです。

The event is called "Little Hawaii", a part of 'Ebisu's Cultural event 2016' and this year will be 6th held.

フラダンスや、ポリネシアンダンス、それからタヒチアン・ダンスなどのショーを始め、ハワイ発信のショップなどが並ぶそうですよ。リゾートスタイルのウェアや、ハワイと言えば！のプルメリアやピカケなどの香りアイテムもプレゼントをお探しの方にピッタリかもしれませんね！

There will be Dance shows including Hula, Polynesian and Tahitian and many shops from Hawaii. Also Resort-styled clothes and the Perfumed items evocative of Hawaii such as Prumelia flower and Pikakes. It could be a perfect for the gift givings!

またまた、ハワイアン・リラックスヨガや、アクセサリーのワークショップなど（どちらも参加比費1000円）ハワイ感満載の体験イベントが満載のようです。

There's much more, Hawaiian Relaxed Yoga and the work shops for accessories makings (both JPY1000 fee) will be held as well.

ハワイに行ったことがない方も、ハワイ通の方もきっと楽しめるイベントになるんではないかと

私たちスタッフも今からワクワクしております。

For those who have never been to Hawaii or those who are already Hawaiian lovers may enjoy this event fully.

To Ebisu Atre from our apartment, it takes only 10 min by walking towards Ebisu station.
