今日は本業のオーストラリア留学の

VISAのアップデートについて

７月１日は移民局がVISAの

様々な規定を変更する日ですが、

今年も色々変わる予定です

これは去年の記事

毎度のことながら、

VISAの申請費も変更になります。

しかも高くなります

今日はVISAの中でも、

卒業VISA（Subclass485）

に焦点を当てて説明します

まず、卒業VISAは１種類ではなく

４つにのストリームがあります。

ストリームごとに解説しますね。

Graduate Work Stream （専門卒）

Graduate Work Stream

Stay in Australia, usually for 18 months. Temporarily increased to 24 months for visas granted from 1 December 2021

特定の専門コース（Diploma以上、2年）を卒業し、

スキルアセスメントを通過した人が申請できます。

パンデミックの影響で、2021年12月1日〜は

一時的に2年のVISAがもらえましたが

これが元の1年半に戻るようになります。

Note: this is not required for applications lodged between 1 July 2022 and 30 June 2023

You will need to:

nominate 1 occupation on the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) and

have a degree, diploma or trade qualification closely related to that occupation and

be assessed by a relevant assessing authority as having skills suitable for that occupation

また、去年の7月１日〜今年の６月30日の1年間は

MLTSSLに乗っていない職種の関連コース、

つまりはDiplomaで2年以上であれば

どんなコースでも卒業VISAの可能性がありましたが

７月1日〜は元の規定に戻り、

MLTSSLに乗っている職種の関連コースではないと

取れなくなってしまいます

ですので、卒業VISAを狙いたい方は

クッカリー（シェフ）、大工系、

チャイルドケア、自動車整備士

テレコミュニケーションネットワークエンジニアリング

など、戦略的にコースを選んでいく必要があります

Post Study Stream（大学・大学院卒）

Post Study Stream

bachelor degree (including honours): 2 years

masters by research and masters by coursework: 3 years

masters (extended): 3 years

doctoral degree: 4 years

Hong Kong and BNO passport holders who successfully complete a bachelor, masters or doctoral degree: 5 years

Degree（称号・課程）によって、

もらえる卒業VISAの期間が変わってきます。

学士は2年、修士は3年。

Graduates affected by COVID-19 travel restrictions are now able to apply for and be granted a Temporary Graduate visa outside Australia – they must hold or have held an eligible Student visa.

また、コロナによる国境閉鎖の影響を受けた方で

卒業VISA申請ができる条件に該当する方は

オーストラリア国外からでも

卒業VISAの申請が可能です

The Australian Government will increase the duration of post study work rights of international students to strengthen the pipeline of skilled labour.

Post study work rights for select degrees in areas of verified skill shortages will be increased from:

Two years to four years for select Bachelor’s degrees

Three years to five years for select Masters degrees

Four years to six years for select PhDs.

また、特定の分野のDegreeの卒業生は

学士が2年→4年

修士が3年→5年

と、2年増える可能性があるそうです。

Second Post-Study Work Stream （２回目の卒業VISA・地方進学）

Second Post-Study Work Stream

政府が定める指定の地方エリアで就学した卒業生は

さらにもう1回、１年〜2年延長できるそう。

Eligibility

As the holder of a first Temporary Graduate visa in the post-study work stream, or a Temporary Graduate visa in the replacement stream, you must have lived only in a designated regional area for at least 2 years immediately before applying for the second Temporary Graduate post-study work stream visa. To do this, show us evidence that in the last 2 years, you resided in a designated regional area.

Designated regional areas are divided into two categories: Category 2 “Cities and Major Regional Centres” and Category 3 “Regional Centres and Other Regional Areas".

If you have lived only in a Category 2 area, you can only be granted an additional 1 year visa.

If you have lived only in a Category 3 area, you can only be granted an additional 2 year visa.

If you have moved between categories you will be considered for the shorter visa.

先ほど説明したPost-workストリームの卒業VISA、又は

次に説明するReplacementストリームの卒業VISAを

持っている方で、過去2年地方に住んでいた人が

対象となります。

1年か２年かはそのエリアで決まります

Designated Regional areas

Category 2 – ‘Cities and Major Regional Centres’ of Perth, Adelaide, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, Canberra, Newcastle/Lake Macquarie, Wollongong/Illawarra, Geelong and Hobart have access to the following regional incentives:

Category 3 – ‘Regional Centres and Other Regional Areas’ will also have access to the dedicated 11,200 regional places, priority processing of regional visas, and the Regional Occupations List.

Replacement Stream（コロナ影響下の特別措置）

Replacement Stream

If you were previously granted a Post Study Work visa for 2 years as a result your Masters qualification, you will now receive 3 years

If you were previously granted a Graduate Work Stream visa for 18 months, you will now receive 2 years. This is a temporary measure. Applicants should check the current period that applies when they lodge their application.

Hong Kong and British National Overseas passport holders may stay for 5 years.

修士号が終わり2年の卒業VISA保持者は

3年の卒業VISAをもらうことができる。

専門コースが終わり、1年半の卒業VISA

（Graduate work stream）の方は

2年の卒業VISAをもらうことができる。

you have held a Graduate Work stream or first Post Study Work stream Temporary Graduate visa that was:

granted before 15 December 2021 and

in effect on or after 1 February 2020

have lost time on your visa because of Australia’s COVID-19 travel restrictions. This means:

if you were in Australia when your original Temporary Graduate visa was granted, you have been outside of Australia while holding this visa between 1 February 2020 and 14 December 2021

if you were outside Australia when your original Temporary Graduate visa was granted, you entered Australia on that visa, and the departed Australia on that visa before 15 December 2021
