密輸などの犯罪行為に加担した理由で
12人の職員を解雇したと発表した。
関税局は、2010年7月～2011年3月までに
銃器、違法薬物、高級車、重機、コメ、砂糖、タマネギ
鉄、油類などの密輸を行った業者30社を刑事告訴したという。

事件 名古屋で男児刺され死亡
２８日午前１１時５０分ごろ
名古屋市名東区香流１丁目、会社員可知義彦さん（５４）のマンションの部屋で
小学２年の長男仁君（８）と親類でフィリピン国籍の無職女性（２６）が
倒れているのを可知さんが見つけた。
仁君は刃物で体を刺されすでに死亡、女性は手首などに切り傷があり意識不明の重体。
室内から血の付いた果物ナイフが見つかり
名東署は女性が仁君を刺した後
自分で手首などを切った可能性があるとみて調べている。

在日外国人
福島第１原発事故を受けて在日外国人の「日本脱出」の動きが続く中
死者１２人が出た福島県白河市にある特別養護老人ホーム「小峰苑」では
４人のフィリピン人介護士候補が
「お年寄りを見捨てて去れない」と働き続けている。
４人は、一昨年から昨年にかけて
日本との経済連携協定（ＥＰＡ）に基づいて来日したメンバーで
フィリピンの家族からは毎日のように
「フィリピンに帰って来て」と叫ぶように電話がかかってくるが
「お年寄りがここにいる限り残る」と決めているという。
「おばあちゃんたちからチョコレートをもらったり
日本語の勉強用のノートをもらったりとすごく親切にしてもらっている。
地震も原発も怖いけど私たちだけ帰国はできない」と話している。
フィリピンでは高齢者を敬う習慣が根強く残っており
小峰苑によると、献身的な介護ぶりは「入所者にも非常に評判がいい」という。
彼女たちの悩みは日本語の勉強。
日本で働き続けるには介護福祉士国家試験に合格しなければならないが
「漢字がとても難しいし、今は勉強する余裕もない」という。
ＥＰＡによって来日したフィリピン人介護士候補は
今年２月に行われた看護師試験では
フィリピン人候補１１３人のうち１人しか合格できなかった。

2010年度の性行為感染症(STD)について報告がおこなわれた。
それによると少なくても8,000人以上の感染者が確認され
その大部分は性産業やナイトクラブ、バーなどで接客する女性だった。
昨年クリニック等で診察を受けた男女は42,353人だが
その20％、8,471人に様々な性行為感染が確認された。
1,187人の女性に細菌性膣炎の感染が確認され
また、177人の女性と72人の男性が淋病に感染が認められた
その他はトリコモナス、ヘルペス、梅毒、B型肝炎、寄生虫などに感染していた。
セックスは不特定多数との行為を避け、コンドーム使用を勧めているが
これも性行為感染症に対して万全ではないことを認識すべきと述べている。
なお、HIV（エイズ）に関しての調査について
セブ市が疑わしい性産業従事者2,270人を調べたところ
2011年度の1月から3月までの間に14人の感染が確認され
1人が2011年2月に死亡していることが判明した。
