14日未明、配達トラックを強奪し逃走中の男性３人組が
追跡の警察隊と銃撃戦となり、３人とも射殺された。
警察の調べでは
20～30歳代とみられる男性３人は
200万ペソ相当の商品を積んだトラックを襲撃
運転手を車両から降ろして乗り込み、そのまま逃走した。
しかし、運転手がトラックに備え付けられた
現在地探知機のスイッチを入れたため
トラックの所在が随時確認され、警察が容易に追跡できたという。

重量オーバー
妻も無事、実家に帰れたようで
早速、スカイプで、クレームの連絡が入りました。
「チケットの持込荷物の重量で、自分が思っていた重量より
購入したチケットでは、オーバーになってしまい航空会社ともめた」という
一昔前は、オーバー分をその場で支払えば
問題なかったのですが
最近は、持込重量制限やハンドキャリーの大きさなど
特に、厳しくなったという。
チケットの購入のとき、荷物の重量をはっきり言ってくれていれば
こういうトラブルも、無かったと思うのですが
早速、航空チケットの追加登録をして
持ち込み重量の増量手続きをやらないといけません。

ダバオ発の新しい珍味として「ワニの丸焼き」を売り出す考えを明らかにした。
「ワニの丸焼き」の販売を考えているのは、
ダバオ市マア区のダバオ・クロコダイル・パークを所有している
実業家フィリップ・ディゾンさん。
「ワニの丸焼きがヒットすれば
観光地としてのダバオ市の知名度も上がる」と
新事業の効果について語った。
ディゾンさんによると
食材に使うワニはインド洋・西太平洋地域に生息する イリエワニで
つい最近、スール州で捕獲され話題になった
体重１トンの巨大ワニと同じ種類で
「絶滅危惧種ではない」という。
彼が、自ら所有している養殖場で育てているワニを使うという。
実際の味については、知人らに「ワニの丸焼き」を振舞ったところ
予想以上に好評だったというが
