フィリピン国家警察がこのほど
ポリテクニック大学のアグスト・セサール・フェルナンデス副学長が
12日午後10時頃、マニラ市内で
バイクに乗った何者かに襲撃されて死亡したと発表した。
大学内の権力争いが背景にあると見られている。

女性を銃撃
11日夜フィリピン首都圏マニラ市トンドで
商業施設の女性店員(28)を射殺した疑いで男性(26)が逮捕された。
この男性は、２日夜
運転中にマニラ市ビノンドで女性店員の運転する車と
衝突事故を起こした。
車から降りた女性は、男性に罵声を浴びせたり
自分のバッグで叩いた後
知人の男性二人を加勢として連れてきた。
それを見て男性は女性を銃撃したという。

明日から忙しくなります
今日、夕方の航空便で、妻がフィリピンに「里帰り」します。
今、一人部屋に居ると、静かな部屋を見回しても
「ぽっかり」部屋が、切り取られてしまっているようで
いつもの、私の指定席に居るのに、居心地はすこぶる悪く感じてしまいます。
とはいえ
先日の事故処理で、明日、相手さんと直接交渉に入ります。
５５年間生きてきて
自分に非がある部分は、素直に、謝れますが
私自身、絶対許せないのは
「自分の保身の為に、嘘をつく人」
「自分がやったのに、己のケツを拭かない人」
このような人間とは、とことん戦うつもりでいます。
今、一人部屋に居ると、静かな部屋を見回しても

戦没者遺骨収容事業
10月12日、フィリピン首都圏マカティ市で開かれた
外国人特派員協会主催のフォーラム後
アキノ大統領は
人骨盗難事件と日本人戦没者遺骨収容事業の関連性や
フィリピン人の遺骨混入の可能性が指摘されている問題で
「問題が解決されない状態での遺骨収容事業の再開は軽率だ」と述べ
日本人戦没者遺骨収容事業に絡む諸問題が解決されたことを確認した上で
遺骨収集再開を認めるか否かを判断する考えを明らかにした。
