After watching the movie "Top Gun Maverick," I felt growing older seemed beautiful.

It reminded me of my school days when I would listen to the theme song from the previous film and feel uplifted.

We were a pretty lazy bunch, and our homeroom teacher always told us, "You can't do it."

But one time, as if she had lighted a spark on a conductor, our friends united and became a group that produced results.

After we started to work, someone could pursue one's dreams; on the contrary, someone had to dash one's hopes.

And some members of our precious friends have already passed away.

"Let's go visit his grave."
Still, when someone calls out to us, we can gather like this from worldwide.

I am sure our bond is still so strong today because our friends in the other world wish for that for us.

We are "Motoko's Children" because we are a group of students of "Ms. Motoko," our homeroom teacher at that time. (Kind of Japanese word's play)

The group will start working together again to plan a celebration for the teacher's 80th birthday.
