I have friends who contact me when I want to see them at a suitable time.
I want to see them even when I am weak because they give me strength when I see them.
After winning the world as a member of Nadeshiko Japan, when she was injured and in a slump, she was much weaker than she is now.
She reset everything and spent a very ordinary day with me r in New York.
Despite the age difference, she and I became much closer.
Then she was back on the national team, leading Japanese women's soccer for a long time.
She made our dream again and again.
Last year, when I was not selected for the Olympic team, I couldn't find the right words to say to her.
But she said to me, "Don't worry. I have no regrets."
She is still working hard to build a new team, and she has given me strength once again.
Although it was a little early, we celebrated our birthday together.
Aya, I want to support you even more.
I will continue to be an eternal supporter.
I still have the birthday present she gave me a long time ago, an iPod with broken glass.
I wonder if someone can fix it.
