In 1986 Maasa Nakazawa was born in Tokyo, in Japan, learned her piano lessons with Katsuko Kaneko and Sumiko Mikimoto.
She studied at the Tokyo Geijutsu Daigaku (Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music) under Professor Yu Kakuno.
She is currently studying with Professor Peter Efler in piano concert class at the Universitaet fuer Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien (University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna),
and chamber music with Professor G.J.Pokorny, Marialena-Fernandes and accompaniment with Professor Meinhard Prinz.
She has also completed the following;
Master class with Boris Pedrushansky, Victor Makarov, Andrei Pisarev, Michel Beroff, Martin Canin, Sergei Dorensky, Jorg Demus, Alexander Jenner, Paskal Devoyon, Klaus Hellwig, Jacques Rouvier, and Henri Barda.

2nd Prize of the All Japan Student Music Competition in the piano category.
1st Prize of the Japan Tschaikowsky competition.
A prize winner of the Ettlingen International competition in Germany.
Participation a Hamamatsu International Piano Academy.
1st Prize of the Japanise players’competition.
1st Prize of the International Chopin Piano Competition in Asia.
A prize winner with her sister in a piano duo of PTNA.
Participant in an International Master Class in Vienna.
2005 and 2010, 1st Prize in the Prof. Dichler-Sato competition.
Semifinalist of Cantu International piano competition in Italy.
2nd Prize in the Gradus ad Parnassum Competition in the piano category in Austria.
3rd Prize of the Elena Rombro-Stepanow-Pianocompetition, givin "Dr.Martha Sobotka-Charlotte Janeczek-Stiftung" Scholarship.
She played with the Poland National Krakau Philharmoniker Orchester, Romanian Orchestra Filharmonica di Bacau, and Wien Universitaet TU Orchester.
She has performed many concerts, Recital, not only as solist, but also in chamber music and as accompanist.
