Ocean Beachに向かっている途中に、緑色と人が集まっている場所がふと目に止まりました。
オンライン評価もよかったので、立ち寄ることに。

１斤が小さめのサイズが特徴のようです。お店の人におすすめを聞いて買った
サンドイッチパン
せっかくなのでショーケースから
ココナッツルバーブケーキ
甘さ控えめでしっとりとしたケーキ
後からスコーンやセサミバンも買えば良かったと少し後悔しました。
サンドイッチパンは、切ると中がとても柔らかくて驚きました。
しっとり感が想像以上でした。
サンドイッチにして食べました。とても美味しかったです。
サイズもちょうどよかったです。
元々Clement Street のファーマーズマーケットで人気だったPop-up店が、去年このアウターサンセット地区にお店をオープン
ちょうど5月が1周年記念だったようです。
オーナーは、Wendy Williamsさん
今回飲み物は頼みませんでしたが、コーヒーは、Linea Caffeを使っているようです。

思いがけず、良い発見でした。木曜日から日曜日のみオープン。

A bakery in the Outer Sunset which is closer to Ocean Beach;
Day Moon
The green wall storefront and a few people hanging outside caught my attention when we were heading towards Ocean Beach the other day. Their online reviews were good and we thought we should check it out so we did. It’s located in a residential area.
A few loaves of bread were lined up in the back of the counter as well as pastries lined in the showcase.
The size of each loaves of bread were on the smaller end and probably good size for one or two people. We got the Sandwich Bread after asking the staff for the popular bread. It was super soft and much more moist than I expected. We made sandwiches with them and they were so good.
Also, we got the Coconut Rhubarb Cake from the showcase. It was very moist and not too sweet. I thought we should’ve bought a scone or a sesame roll as well as the Sandwich Bread was amazing.
Day Moon had been popular at the Clement Street Farmer’s Market as a pop-up and they opened the brick and motor store in this location last year. Apparently, the end of May was the first year anniversary. The owner is Wendy Williams.
We didn’t get any drinks this time but it looks like they use Linea Caffe for their espresso menu.

We are glad to have found this awesome bakery. They open from Thursday to Sun.
