大人気のベーグルということで気になっていたものの
今まで行く機会がなかったアウターリッチモンドにあるお店
The Laundromat
お店の名前からは想像つきませんが、午前中はベーグルとコーヒー、夕方からはピザ、ビール、ワインを提供しているお店。夕方からは店内で食事ができます。
２組の友達カップル、Jaimi Holkerさん、Adam Bergeronさん、Kevin Rodgers さんJenna O’Connellさんが2022年にオープンしました。
JaimiさんとAdamさんは、 CinemaSFのオーナーでもあり、Balboa Theaterの管理をしていて、さんは、Kevin and Jenna oのオーナーでもあります。
Eater SFによるとユニークなお店の名前は、レストランになる前がコインランドリーだったことが由来だそうです。なるほどですね。
メニューや価格設定がとてもシンプル。
ベーグル一つで3ドル、６つで16ドル、12個で30ドル。
フレーバーは、レギュラー、エブリシング、エッグ、エッグエブリシング、パンパニッケル、パンパニッケルエブリシング、ブラックアンドホワイトセサミ、ポピー、シーソルト、シナモンレーズン
前の人が結構な量買っていたので驚きました。
私たちは、今回６種類のベーグルを購入。

あまり馴染みのない名前でしたが、ドイツのライ麦パン
一口食べて、なるほど、と思いました。久しぶりに食べました。

弾力があって、もちもち感もちょうどよく、どれも美味しかったです。
大人気なのは納得です。
おすすめです！
色々な種類のクリームチーズも売っています。プレーン、ネギ、Calabrian チリ、玉ねきの漬物とケイパー、スモークサーモンとディル、そして季節もの。
ベーグルが美味しかったので、ピザも気になります。

Hello everyone!
A place that is known for its amazing bagels, which I’d been curious but didn’t get a chance to try. We finally had a chance.
The Laundromat
It is located in the Outer Richmond District. You probably wouldn’t think of a bakery or a restaurant from their name, the Laundromat; but, they sell bagels and coffee in the morning and throughout the early afternoon. Then in the evening they sell pizza, beers and wines. While you could eat inside in the evenings, the indoor dining space is closed during a day time.
Two couples, Jaimi Holker, Adam Bergeron, Kevin Rodgers and Jenna O’Connell opened it in 2022. Jaimi and Adam are the owners of CinemaSF and they operate the Balboa Theater. Kevin and Jenna are the owner of Holey Roller Bagels as well.
According to Eater SF, the unique name came from what it used to be, an actual laundromat, called “Let’s Do Wash Coin Laundrett.”
Their menu and the pricing are simple, which is nice. One bagel costs $3, 6 bagels for $16 and a dozen of bagels for $30. Flavors include Regular, Everyone, Egg, Egg Everything, Pumpernickel, Pumpernickel Everything, Black and White Sesame, Poppy, Sea Salt and Cinnamon Raisin.
I was a bit surprised that a person in front of me ordered quite a lot of bagels. We got a half a dozen bagels and had the Regular, Egg, Pumpernickel, Pumpernickel Everything, Black and White Sesame, Sea Salt and Cinnamon Raisin.
I wasn’t that familiar with the name, Pumpernickel but it is a German Rye Bread. Once I had a bite, I knew I’ve had it before. It’s been a while since last time I ate and it was good. As you can see from some photos, the bagel was decently big. It was moist and chewy in a perfect way. I liked them all. I totally understand why they are very popular. I’d definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for good bagels!
They also sell cream cheese and there are a few flavors; plain, scallion, Calabrian Chili, Pickled Onion and Caper, Smokes Salmon with Dill, and Seasonal one.
Since the bagels were so good, we’re curious about their pizzas.
