ザ・モーニングショー / The Morning Show



ザ・モーニングショーをシーズン4まで全て見終わりました。

キャリア女性のドラマは小さい頃から好きですが、まさにどハマりでもあり、シーズン4に至っては予想以上にシリアスにもなり。

業界に長く続くセクハラ、レガシーメディアのポジショニングとIT起業家の台頭など、リアルに近い話題が上手に盛り込まれています。

主人公たちの赤裸々な気持ちの動きに共感もしたり。

何度か書いているように、私のこの手の鑑賞は英語力向上を兼ねてますが、その観点でもバッチリ。

もう一回見たいな。



I finished watching “The Morning Show” from Season 1 to 4 on Apple TV.

It is my favorite drama that describes women who step up in their careers.

In addition, season 4 unexpectedly has serious stories.

Some discussion topics like sexual harassment in the industry or positioning of a legacy media as well as an empowered IT entrepreneur are included in the drama well.

I was empathetic with the emotions of the main characters.

It is good to learn English as I always mentioned that I watch movies to improve my English.

I would like to watch it again.



”新年の抱負 / New Year’s Resolutions”


あっという間に8月。半年をすでに過ぎてますので、新年の抱負を振り返ります。

<最重要>

・世のため人のために 

  ->最近弱まってしまっている気がするので、改めて意識するように

<仕事>

・目の前の仕事で最高のパフォーマンスを

  -> 新しい組織の立ち上げはできたところ。これからパフォーマンスを発揮できるように頑張ろう。

・長期的なキャリアの準備を

  -> 悩み多き。でもまずは目の前をきちんとやらないと。

<自分自身>

・健康第一

　-> 病気はしました。私が何か悪かったわけじゃないけど。

・ゴルフのスコア向上

　-> スコアは少しずつ上がってます。何より本気で取り組み始めてます。

・運動とリフレッシュを継続

　-> 運動はまあまあ、リフレッシュはそこそこだけど、ストレスはかなり高い状態。

<家族>

・旅行を計画的に

　-> 短期旅行は何度か行ったし、夏休みのフライトは早めに予約しました。

・親族のケア

　-> いまいちかな。

・息子たちとは友達のように

　->友達のように、ゴルフを一緒にやったり、旅行したり。

<交流>

・さまざまな交流を大事に

　-> できる範囲でやってます。



I looked back my new year’s resolution because more than half a year had passed.

<The first priority>

- For the society and people 

  -> The consciousness is weakened and needs higher attention in the remaining year.

<Job>

- Make the best performance on the exactly my job

  -> launching the new organization successfully completed and will make a great effort to make good performance.

- Prepare for the long-term career

  -> have many concerns about it but have to focus on the job in front of me.

<Myself>

- Make physical and mental health priority #1.

  -> I had illness although I didn't have any fault.

- Grow golf score

  -> doing well. Started practicing seriously.

- Continue workout and activities to refresh

  -> workout is so so and activities to refresh are also so so. But I am very stressful.

<Family>

- Travel with planning 

  -> had short travels and booked flights for summer vacation early.

- Take care of my relatives

  -> not so good.

- Keep relationships with my sons like friends

  -> traveled with them and played golf with one of them.

<Exchange>

- Ensure various friendships 

  -> did as far as I can.

F1アカデミー / F1 Academy



F1アカデミーをNetflixで見ました。

私の好きな、女性が本気で取り組むシリーズです。

F1ドライバーを目指して世界中から選ばれた女性たち。

シーズン中は毎週末のように世界各地でレースが行われます。

どのレースにもドラマがあり。

メンタルの成長が見ものです。

年間を通して成績が出て、来年の進路にも影響します。

続編もあるかな、楽しみです。



I enjoyed watching “F1 Academy” on Netflix.

It is a type of series in which women seriously concentrate on something that I love.

The casts are women selected from all over the world as members of the F1 Academy to aim for the F1.

They race every weekend all over the world in season.

 Each race has a drama.

The growth of their mentality is interesting.

They get scores throughout the year and the scores affect each way next year.

I hope next season will come and I look forward to watching it.



EXPO2025

大阪のEXPO2025に行きました。夫と長男次男が一緒でした。

土曜日の早朝に出て、羽田から伊丹へ飛行機で移動。

そのあと、ホテルに荷物を預けて、予約しておいた西ゲートから10時に入場。

パビリオンはフランス、タイ、スペイン、カンボジアを見ました。スペインパビリオンでは藤原紀香を見ました。

次男が先週も行ってるので土地勘があり、助かりました。

合間にいろいろ食べたり、散歩したり。

朝、スシローの整理券をもらって夕方に行けました。

事前にパビリオンの予約はできなかったけど、結構楽しめました。

お土産を買って、18:30頃会場をあとにしました。

暑い中、たくさん歩いたので、夜は爆睡でした。


翌日は義母になんばまで来てもらい、一緒にホテルのビュッフェを楽しみました。


楽しい大阪旅行でした。



I went to EXPO2025 in Osaka with my husband and twins.

We left home early morning on Saturday and flew from Haneda to Itami.

Then we left our luggage at the hotel and entered  EXPO 2025 from the west gate at 10:00 following our reservation.

We enjoyed pavilions of France, Thailand, Spain, and Cambodia. We looked at Norika Fujiwara who is a female actor at the Spain Pavilion.

Thanks to my second son who had been at the expo the week before, we enjoyed it efficiently.

During the pavilions, we ate various foods and took a walk.

In the morning, we got a numbered ticket for Sushiro which is one of the famous sushi brands, and could enter the restaurant in the early evening.

We enjoyed the expo even though we couldn’t get any reservations beforehand.

We bought souvenirs and left the park at 18;30.

We slept well at night because we walked a lot in the humid and bot weather.


We enjoyed buffet at a hotel in Namba with my mother-in-law today.


It was a good trip to Osaka.


アメリカズスウィートハート2 / America’s Sweetheart 2



シーズン2を見終わりました。

厳しいセレクションと練習を経て、36人のチアリーダーズが本番を迎え、シーズンが終わるところまでのドラマが詰め込まれています。

ダンスが好きで、その実力はベースとして必ず必要。その上で、スター性があるかも必要。さらに年次が上がればリーダーシップも求められる。

でも給与は十分ではなく、他の仕事と掛け持ちじゃないと暮らしていけない。

また、SNSで活動をしているメンバーも多いので、そこも要注意。

さまざまな人生模様がある。

でもみんな本当にこのチームに属すること、みんなの前でパフォーマンスができることを誇りにしている。

その真剣さが素晴らしい。

私はこのシリーズが好きですので、また来年もあるかなと楽しみにしてます。



I finished watching “America’s Sweetheart Season 2” on Netflix.

It describes that 36 cheerleaders were selected, concentrated on hard practices, performed on the stage, and completed it at the end of the season.

The basic requirement is dancing well.

In addition to that, a star quality is required.

For the experienced member, leadership is also required.

However, a salary is not enough to avoid other jobs to live.

Some of them are on SNS and that sometimes makes trouble.

Therefore, there are many facets of life.

But all of them are proud of being a member of the team and performing on the stadiums.

Their seriousness is beautiful.

I love this series and look forward to next season.


長男とハーフラウンド / a half round with my first son

他のことをかけていないので、すっかりゴルフブログになってますが、今日は長男と2人でコースを回りました。

長男とは三男も一緒に年初にショートコースを回りましたが、本格的なコースは彼にとって初めて。

ということで、午後からのハーフのプランにしました。

行き帰りは長男の運転。

今日は幸い暑すぎず、スコアも目標達成し、楽しくゴルフができました。

ハーフだとだいぶ楽ですね。

来月、また2人でゴルフをしようと思います。



This blog seems like a “golf blog” because I haven't written the other things.

Today I went to a golf course with my first son.

It was the second play for him and the first time was to play with my youngest and me on the short course at the beginning of this year.

Therefore, I reserved half a play plan in the afternoon.

He drove round-trip.

It was not too hot, we achieved the targeted scores, and then we enjoyed playing.

Half is much easier.

We will play together again next month.

懇親ゴルフ / golf to make good connections

土曜日は仕事でゴルフでした。

懇親が目的なので、とにかく楽しむこと。

とはいえ、それなりのゴルフはやらないと。

ここ2回、女子ゴルフが続いており、やはり男性とのゴルフは全然違うなと思い出しながら。

そして梅雨明けの関西でのゴルフは、真夏よりはいいけど、十分暑い。

私は途中無言でスリープモード。

熱中症にはならなかったですが、体の消耗は激しかったです。

ゴルフ自体の調子はあまりよくなく、110台をとれず。残念。

新しいパターは良かったけど、やっぱりグリーンは難しい。

パターの練習を自宅ですべく、準備したいと思います。

そして、今回も「ゴルフちゃんとできてるよ」と褒められはしました。

よかった。



I played golf on a course which is located in west Japan last Saturday when it was hot after the rainy season.

It was for work and the purpose was to make good connections but it was necessary to play golf as well as possible.

I remembered that playing with men is totally different from with women because I played with ladies twice recently.

It was not as hot as mid-summer but it was hot enough to struggle to keep my condition.

I was sometimes in sleep mode while playing.

I was sorry but I couldn't get an 110s score.

My new putter was good but it was still hard to handle green.

I want to prepare for practicing putting at home.

It was good to be commented that my golf was good this time as well.


週末ゴルフ練習 / Golf practice on weekend

来週末は仕事でゴルフに行くので、今週末は土日両方レッスンに。

アプローチもパターもそもそもがわかっていなかったということに気づく。

アプローチは、他のと同じようにクラブを振らないといけないのに、できてなかった。

ボールに対してクラブを突っ込んでる状態だった。

クラブはもっと右側におろさないと。

結局パターは新しいのを買いました。

でも買っただけではあまり変わらない。

パターは手でコントロールしているため、安定しない。

うまくいくことがあってもそれはまぐれなので、きつんとテコの原理で振る方法に変えないと。

変えることで、安定してくるはず。

前回のラウンド直前に変え始めた、ドライバーのテイクバックはだいぶできるようになった。

そして今は、テイクバックで力をきちんとかけて振ることができるようになりさえすれば、スイング自体は大丈夫とのこと。

少しずつ改善し、ゴルフがそれなりに大変じゃなくできるレベルまでなんとか持っていこう。



I will go to a golf course for a job next Saturday and I went to the lessons on this Saturday and Sunday.

I noticed that I hadn’t known how to do in terms of both approach and putting.

I hadn’t been able to swing wedge like the other clubs even though I had to.

I directly put the wedge to a ball.

I have to down it to the right side.

I bought a new putter but it doesn’t make me realize a good putting.

It wasn’t stable that my putting was controlled by my hand.

If I made it, it was accident and I have to change the way on how to use the principle of leverage.

If so, my putting will be more stable.

I have changed my form of driver to fix over takeback since before the previous round.

My form was said to be ok if I always put my power into swing at the top.

I will improve my golf skills to the level to handle it without any intention.


今週も女子ゴルフ / a female gold round again

今日も女子ゴルフ。

この間とは違い、名門接待コースでのラウンド。

スコアはもちろんだいぶ落ちましたが、スコアをとりに行くゴルフではなく、技術をある程度磨くこともしながらのゴルフで、110代を取れたのはよかったです。

技術を磨けたのは、苦手なアプローチと、斜面などの悪環境からのリカバリー。

パターは本当にふるわなかった。

パターを買おうかなと前回から思い始める。

自分に合ってないように思えてきたな。

次回までに少し考えようと思います。

次回のラウンドは来週土曜日。間に合うか？

お客様とのゴルフなのでうまくできますように。



I went to a golf course with my female friends today as well.

It was at the classic and great course being different from last week.

It was natural that my score got down but it was good for me to make 110’s score even though I focused on improving my skills than getting high score.

My skills of approach shots and recovery from bad situations like slopes were improved.

On the other hand, my putting shots were not good.

I began to think about buying a new putter from the previous round.

My putter doesn’t seem to be fit for me.

I want to think about it by the next time.

It will be next Saturday and i wonder if I will get a new one by then?

It will be a round with my clients and I wish it would be great.


女子ゴルフ / A golf round with ladies

初めての女子ゴルフ。

ゴルフ初心者にも優しいゴルフ場だったので101なんていう最高スコアも出せました。

そして前回にも指摘を受けたけど、パワーは大丈夫で、むしろ繊細さに欠けるゴルフだということがわかった。

女性とプレイすると、私のは男子ゴルフそのものだなと思いました。

男性と一緒だと飛ばない、パワー足りないと思ったりしてたけど(前回初めてそうじゃない指摘だった)、女性だとむしろパワーあふれるんですね。

アプローチは課題。

あとはこのまま頑張ろう。

とにかく女子ゴルフは楽しい。

次も女子ゴルフ。今度は名門で。



Today was my first time to play golf with only ladies.

I realized 101 score for the first time because the golf course is easy for beginners.

It made clear that my golf style has power enough and lacks sensitivity.

When I play with gentlemen, I always feel lacks of power except the previous round but in case of playing with ladies, I seem to be powerful.

My approach shots still have issues.

The others are on a good path.

Anyway playing with ladies is fun.

Next is also ladies’ at a prestigious golf course.
