結婚記念日 / Our wedding anniversary

結婚記念日でした。

必ずお休みの日になるように、11/3に入籍しました。祝日が変更されてなくてラッキーです。

27周年です。うち、約25年は息子たちと一緒。

いつも言ってますが、結婚生活のほとんどは息子たちとの生活でした。

その息子の1人、次男が婚約したので、今日は家族で一緒に２つのお祝いを。

三男だけはニュージーランドですが、来週には帰ってくるので楽しみ。

そしていよいよ人生の半分以上が結婚してる状態に。

ここまでくると、

病める時も 健やかなる時も

富める時も 貧しい時も

と、かつて誓いましたが、本当にそうだなぁと実感すること多数。

感謝してます。



Today is our 27th wedding anniversary.

We got married on Nov 3, the national holiday, to remember every year and we are lucky because this national holiday has never changed.

We have spent with my sons about 25 years out of 27 years’ marriage.

One of them, our second son engaged as I mentioned and we celebrated the two tings with our family except our youngest who is in New Zealand and will come back to Japan in a week.

Also I have married for more than half of my life. Then I reminded what we vowed when we married that 

“in sickness and in health

In wealth and in poverty”

of many real things we experienced.

I appreciate.





次男の婚約 / My second son’s engagement

10/25に次男が彼女と婚約したそうです。おめでとう！

指輪を買って、プロポーズしたそう。

以前、一度一緒にランチをしましたが、とてもいい彼女です。

次男の人生は彼のものだけど、私としても息子が婚約できたのはとてもうれしい。

まだ結婚はいつするか決めてないそうです。

今後、両家の挨拶とかありそうですが、それも未定です。

彼らのこれからが楽しみです。



My second son eangaged with his girlfriend on Oct 25. Congratulations!

He bought a ring and proposed her.

I met her having lunch before and I know she is a good lady.

I was happy as a mother that he engaged although his life is his not ours.

They have not decided when they would marry.

When both families would meet has not decided yet.

I am looking forward to their future.

仕事で必要になることもあり、久しぶりにまじめな？読書を。

こういうのを読まないとダメですよね、と反省もしました。

なかなか難しいのです。


正直、世界について疎い私には知らないことばかりでした。

西洋は自ら弱くなり敗北は明らかであること、その経緯と理由が説明されています。

アメリカ一国支配が一時的にされそうな世界だったものの、それはもう起こり得ないことなのだとよく理解できました。

読んだ内容を忘れるのを防いだり、理解を深めるために、今回はAIと対話しながら読みました。

いいですね、これは。1人で読んでるより意味を見出すことができました。

後からも見返せますし、私との対話をベースにサマリーまでしてくれてます。

ありがたいこと。

読みっぱなしにせず、これから何ができるのかを議論していかなくては。



I read “La Defaite de l’Occident” by Emmanuel Todo.

I have never read seriously since for a while.

I regretted that I need to read more serious books.

It is difficult for me to take the time.


To be honest, this book shows many things I had never known because I am not good at the relationship and history of the world.

It shows that the western is obviously getting weaker by itself and explains the history and reasons.

I understood that the world governed by only the US would never happen even though it seemed before.

I was reading it having dialogue with AI to avoid forgetting and deepen understanding.

That worked well. I regarded it as more meaningful than reading alone.

It makes me see our dialogue later and has already summarized it.

I appreciated.

I will have to discuss what we will do not only reading.


ザ・ディプロマット / The Diplomat



ザ・ディプロマットは大好きで、今回はシーズン3をわりと一気見しました。

ちょっと路線違うかなというところもあったけど、とにかく仕事に向き合う姿勢とか、共感ポイント多し。

そしてまたしても、え？という終わり方。

次のシーズンが楽しみです。



I love “The Diplomat” on Netflix and watched the season 3 quickly.

Although it is slightly different from the past seasons, I like the main character’s attitude toward her work.

And the end of the season is surprising again.

I look forward to the next season.


女子ゴルフ / Golf with ladies

女子ゴルフでした。

ドライバーがまたしてもふるわず、苦戦しましたが、わりとやさしいコースなので、スコアはなんとかそれなり。

前日の練習では調子も良かったので、ベストを狙っていたのですが、無理でした。

そんなに甘くないですよね。

このゴルフの前に、仕事でネガティブなことがあり、直前には大仕事もあり、疲れていたのかもしれません。

また行く約束をして終えました。



I went to a golf course with my female friends.

My shots of the driver were not good as well and I struggled but I could handle my score because of the easy course.

I practiced well yesterday and I aimed for my best score but I couldn’t. 

It was not so easy, isn’t it?

I might have bee exhausted because I met a negative thing in my work and did a big job before the round.

We finished after promising the next round.

感謝 / Appreciation

ブログでも書いてましたが、今年は3月4月と体調不良が続き、4月には原因がわかりました。

薬により、回復をしたので、その後はほぼ全く健康な人と同じ生活を送っています。

書いてる通り、海外出張もこなし、ゴルフにも行けてます。

本当に薬には感謝しかなく、すべての医療に関わる方に感謝したいです。


As I mentioned here, I felt bad last March and April, and the reason was figured out in April.

Medications made me recover and I can live a life as healthy as healthy people.

As I wrote here, I went on business trips outside of Japan and often went to the golf courses.

I really appreciate medicines and all that people who dedicate themselves to medical care.

長男とゴルフラウンド / A golf round with my first son

この間の日曜日、長男と2人でラウンドしてきました。

前に2人で行ったのと同じゴルフ場。

前回はハーフだったけど、今回は18H。

スコアは長男は自己ベスト、私もかなりいいスコアを出せました。

ドライバーが不調で、長男に言わせると8割は地を這ってたのですが、ボールの勢いがあるのでそれなりに進むのと、レディースティーが良心的なところにあるのとで、さほど問題にはなりませんでした。

だいぶコースマネジメントもできるようになりました。

次回は女子ゴルフの予定なので、それまでに課題を克服していきたいです。


うまくなってはいるけど、私の中ではゴルフと英語は同じぐらいなかなか上達せず、よく似たものです。



I went to a golf course with my first son last Sunday.

The golf course was the same as where we went before.

The previous round was only half but this time it was 18 holes.

My first son achieved his best score and I did the second-best score.

Although my driver shots were not good and 80 % were my balls were crawling on the ground according to my son, their power was good enough to run a certain length, the positions of the lady’s tees were good, and I handled them.

It means that I was getting to manage the course.

Until the next round with ladies, I would like to solve my issues.


Although my golf skills have been better, golf and English are hard for me to improve and they are similar.

ニューヨーク出張 / A business trip to New York

今年はいろんなことがあって、実はここにはほとんどかけてないかも。書けないこともあれば、なんとなく書いてないものも、書く時間がないものも。


ごく最近は2泊5日のニューヨーク出張でした。

1人で行ったのですが、行き慣れたところでもあり、仕事しかしなかった(できなかった)こともあり、特に問題なく。

仕事は、みんなで今後の戦略を話す会でした。

親睦のディナーもあり、とても楽しかったです。

みなさん、機関銃のように英語を話すのですが、内容は理解できました。

ただ、相変わらず発言するのは難しいのですよ。

もう少し、さらに英語力をあげて、うまくできるようにしたいと思います。

発言しにくいのにはもう一つ理由があり、日本はとてもユニークなことが多く、あまり参考にならないと言われるからでもあります。


英語とゴルフはやってもやってもなかなか上手くならないなぁといつも思うけど、それでもやり続けるのです。



I had many things happened around me this year but I didn’t most of them because I couldn’t make public, I didn’t feel comfortable to write, or I didn’t have enough time to write.


Recently I went to New York for business on 2 nights 5 days.

I didn’t have any big troubles even though 

 I went there alone since I had been there some times and I only worked for a lot of work in the trip.

The objective to go to New York was to attendmeetings to discuss our strategy for mid term there

I enjoyed them and dinner with the team.

I understood what the team members spoke in English fast

But it was still hard to make comments during the discussions.

I would like to handle better by making an effort to improve my English.

Another reason why I hardly demonstrated my thoughts was that my thoughts were said not to refereed by the other geographies because Japan is unique.


I usually think that English and golf are hard to improve but I will keep practicing them, even though.



オーストラリア旅行 / A trip to Australia

先週は夏休みをとって、オーストラリアに行きました。

ニュージーランドにいる三男の近くにということで、三男も合流。

息子全員参加でした。

シドニーとエアーズロック、満喫しました。

AIを活用すると本当に便利。

あとはAI Agentが予約とかもやってくれれば完璧です。

シドニーでは、オペラハウスをはじめとした名所に、エアーズロックでは空からも含め、ウルルとカタ・ジュタを何度も見ました。

悔いのない旅で、心からリフレッシュ。

まだ疲れが残ってるかも。苦笑

来年の夏休みの計画も早めに立てよう。



I went to Australia for a summer vacation last week.

My youngest who lives in New Zealand flew there.

Then my sons all joined the trip.

We enjoyed Sydney and Ayers Rock very much.

AI supported our tip well. If AI Agent books the reservation, it would be perfect.

In Sydney, we went to some spots like the Opera House, and in Ayers Rock, we saw Uluru and Kata Tjuta from the ground and sky several times.

I was refreshed but I am still exhausted.

I decided to plan the next summer vacation as early as possible.

ザ・モーニングショー / The Morning Show



ザ・モーニングショーをシーズン4まで全て見終わりました。

キャリア女性のドラマは小さい頃から好きですが、まさにどハマりでもあり、シーズン4に至っては予想以上にシリアスにもなり。

業界に長く続くセクハラ、レガシーメディアのポジショニングとIT起業家の台頭など、リアルに近い話題が上手に盛り込まれています。

主人公たちの赤裸々な気持ちの動きに共感もしたり。

何度か書いているように、私のこの手の鑑賞は英語力向上を兼ねてますが、その観点でもバッチリ。

もう一回見たいな。



I finished watching “The Morning Show” from Season 1 to 4 on Apple TV.

It is my favorite drama that describes women who step up in their careers.

In addition, season 4 unexpectedly has serious stories.

Some discussion topics like sexual harassment in the industry or positioning of a legacy media as well as an empowered IT entrepreneur are included in the drama well.

I was empathetic with the emotions of the main characters.

It is good to learn English as I always mentioned that I watch movies to improve my English.

I would like to watch it again.
