TOKYO -- Doctors in Japan have attributed the deaths of 37 people in 2023 to COVID-19 vaccinations, Japan's health ministry revealed for the first time on June 5 in its Vital Statistics report for last year.
The number was based on figures recorded by physicians on death certificates. A representative from the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare commented, "This is purely based on the judgment of the attending physicians, and we are not in a position to say whether the number of deaths is high or low."
It was also revealed that 23 people were deemed to have died from coronavirus vaccinations in 2022.
