いやいや、美術館の展示案内でしょ？

Is this a poster to promote a TV programme？

No, this should be a poster of

promoting new exhibition in a fine-art museum.

そして今朝の続き、ドキュメンタリーでの結弦君のプログラム説明。

もうゲームファンを一気に結弦君の虜にしちゃったMEGALOVANIAの話題。

And now, let’s go back to the Documentary.

Yuzu also talked about “MEGALOVANIA”.

スピンだけで見せるプログラムってないのかなぁって考えたらなくて。
じゃぁコンセプト、スピンでいこっていうのがまず選曲の前にありました。
で、選曲するにあたって、スピンで見せていくこのかっこよさって何かなぁって思った時に、あぁ、この楽曲だったらスピンじゃないとこの世界観表せないなって結びついたのが「MEGALOVANIA」でしたね、はい。
I wondered there were any programmes showcasing only spins, then I found there aren’t.
Then ok, let me set the concept of a programme as “spins”, and then I tried to select music.
When I was thinking how I could show spins cool, then I found that this music world only be expressed with spins, and this is how I selected “MEGALOVANIA.”

あのぉ結弦君、このスピンは新種？

後半のシェーがめっちゃかっこいいんだけど。

Yuzu, is this spin a new style?

The arms look so cool.

MEGALOVANIA、とにかくもうかっこよすぎてなんだけど

その前のまるでアクション映画のような映像もめちゃくちゃかっこよかったよね。

そして、氷上にそのクールな戦闘服の結弦君が登場する。

この段階で完全に見る側は、脳内酸欠状態まで虜にさせらているのに

突然の氷上タップダンス（←なんか表現が昭和だよ！）

どっひゃ～！なに？なに？何が始まるの？！？！と

MEGALOVANIA, itself look so COOL however,

just before it, the video scene too so cool,

it looked like a scene of a Hollywood action film.

And then on the ice, hero Yuzu appeared, oh my goodness！！

Just looking at him on the ice, our hearts already jumped up to the heaven though,

What? What is going on??

Yeah, suddenly Yuzu started tap dance？？？

No sound but only the sound of Yuzu skating.

フィギュアスケートって、ま、表現している世界っていうか、割と華々しいものが多いので、その生々しさみたいなものってあんまり感じないことが多いんですよね。

With Figure Skating, we mostly show somewhat glorious world, and normally audience don’t feel graphic side of it.

だからなんかそのぉ、、、エッジの音の迫力みたいなものをちょっと感じてもらいたいなっていうのがまず1つ、なんかずっといつかやってみたいなって思うことの1つで。

So that, well, among what I want to express, one of them is to let audience feel the spectacular of the sound blades make.

で、この「MEGALOVANIA」っていう楽曲自体が、えっとぉ、ま、1人のボスと戦う時に使われる曲なんですけど、そのボスと戦う時に最初無音で必殺技を繰り出すっていうとこがあって、その無音なんだけどSEだけ響く、効果音だけずっと響いている。

Then, the sound of “MEGALOVANIA” is, well, it is used for the scene a character fight against one the bosses, and at the beginning of the fighting, there is a scene the boss showed his lethal techniques, that scene goes without sound, but only with SE, sound effect.

で、そこから「MEGALOVANIA」が始まって、戦闘が始まっていくってゆうところがあるんですけど、それをちょっと再現したくて、はい、エッジだけで、エッジの音だけで見せる。

After the scene the music of “MEGALOVANIA” starts, and fighting scene comes, I wanted to express the silent scene, using only my blades, showcase with only the sound of blades scrapping the ice.

氷を削る音も最高だし、その直後の「ちっ！」って効果音で唇はじく瞬間が、、、あああ！酸欠！　😻

度肝を抜かされた次の瞬間には

あまりのかっこよさに酸欠脳みそ一気に宇宙旅行！！！

ってか、その演出も驚きだったけど、すごっ！

確かに氷を削る音って生でスケート見ると聞こえるけど

こんなに？ってその響きの凄さにも驚いたよね。

Yeah, it was really amazing surprise

creating such a world without music but only his moves and sound of his blades.

And also not only the scene but also Sarah was very surprise

although we know when they skate there are such sound however,

the sound was really big enough to reach all the audience there,

that much sound he can make, it was amazing.

会場で音を、、、そのぉ全員に聞かせきるくらいの音を出すってすごく難しくて。
最初、マイクつけて滑るかっていうことも考えたりとか、録音したものに充てて滑るかとか色々考えたんですけど、どうしてもそのぉ風の音がものすごかったりとか、あとはそのままプログラム続いて行かなきゃいけないので。
色んな方々と相談した中で、じゃ、生音で会場中響かせようかみたいになって、簡単に言ってくれるじゃなねぇかって僕は思ってたんですけど。
It’s really very difficult to make sound which would reach all of audience there.
At the first, we thought about using a microphone, or using recorded sound and move with the sound, but for example a microphone caught wind sound, and also I have to start the programme immediately.
Discussed with many people, then at last they told me to do it with live sound, well, they can say easily though what about me? hahaha!

そして、途中で真っ暗になって

突然、会場のあそこに、こちらに、

結弦君が空間移動するアイデアもめっちゃ興奮だったよ。

Then in the latter half of the programme,

suddenly Yuzu disappeared in the darkness,

then up there, down here, in many places, Yuzu appeared,

that effect was also cool.

リンクの中から、え～っと客席の中にあるモニターとかに、なんか飛んでいく、時空を超えて瞬間移動していくみたいな感覚の、あのぉ表現みたいなこともちょっとやってみています。
「ここに来た！」みたいな「あ、どこどこ？」みたいな感覚だけでもいいので、なんか楽しんでいただけると嬉しいですね、はい。」
From the ice rink to, well, to monitors set in the audience seats, just like flying or teleporting across time and space, such effect or expression I also wanted to try.
“Oh, here he is!” “Where is he?” such surprising mood when they enjoyed, I would be happy.

とにかく、これはねゲームを知らなくても
もうチキン肌立ちまくり、蛇さん豚さんが来そうなくらい興奮しまくりだったけど
このゲームを愛する人たちが氷上に再現されているのを知ったら
そうだよね、これは興奮するよね。
それにしても、白竜さまの世界は創りだしちゃう
春の希望の光を人々の心に投げかけちゃう
かと思えば、こんなクールなゲームの世界で観る者を虜にする
今朝の続きになるけど正にアバンギャルド
そう、最高のアスリートであり
斬新なアーティストなんだよね。
Yeah, even for Sarah and many of you guys, who don’t know about the game,
this programme gave us gooseflesh impression, so COOL.
So for those who love this game, when they watch Yuzu performing this
oh it’s a matter of course they would be crazy about Yuzu.
However, see, Yuzu can create a fantasy world, like the world of White Dragon,
then GIFT us the light of hope, and also
he can enchant us showing such coolest world.
Yeah, Yuzu is the great athlete and
an artist who has progressive mind to create avant－garde world.
