-絵本「GIFT」でどこに注目してほしいところは？
ま、絵本という形式なんですけれども、やっぱり文章自体が持っている力というか、持っている言葉たちの圧みたいなものは、かなり感じられると思います。
もちろん、スケートでのアイスショーとして「GIFT」もあるんですけども、実際に言葉として文字とし出来上がった時に感じられる感情だとか、また考えられる想起させられる記憶だったりとか、背景だったりとかそういったものがまた違ってくると思いますし。
またCLAMP先生が描いてくださる絵たちによってまたイメージさせられることも変わってくると思うので、自分としては全部、全部楽しんでほしいんですけれども、きっとどっかしらにどんな言葉でもいいので、何か自分に刺さってくれる、多分ワードみたいなものとかフレーズみたいなものがあると思うので、そこをまた大切にしてほしいなって思っています。
-What parts of ehon “GIFT” do you want readers to pay attention to?
It’s in the form of a picture book, however, I think readers may feel kind of power of sentences or forces of words in it.
Of course, there was “GIFT” as an ice show performed by skating, I thing when it comes with words and phrases, feelings they may have or recalled memories or backgrounds would be different.
Also with the illustrations by CLAMP-sensei, I think the images readers will be changed, so that I would like readers to enjoy all of them.
Whatever, it doesn’t matter any word it would be though, there should be kind of key-word for readers, which impress them, I hope readers will cherish such parts.

世界的創作集団CLAMP（クランプ）とタッグを組んだ
絵本『GIFT』が12月20日に発売されます。
その発売に先駆け、11月22日に発売される
VOCE１月号の表紙に羽生さんが初登場。
絵本の制作秘話や、
待望のCLAMPのイラストが初公開されます。
Picture book GIFT, the collaboration work
between the world-famous superstar in Figure Skating,
Hanyu Yuzuru-san and
the world-renowned creative group,
CLAMP will be released on 20 Dec.
Prior to the release, Hanyu-san will be featured
on the cover of VOCE January issue
to be released on 22 Nov. for his first time.
The behind-the-scene stories of the book and
the long awaited illustration by
CLAMP will be unveiled for the first time.
