4Aの練習は？
“How’s your 4A practice going on?”
やれて2週間に1回とかそんな感じですかね。やっぱり怪我のリスクがものすごく大きくて、実際に北京オリンピックの場所でも4回転半の練習をしている時に捻挫をしてしまってすごく苦しかった気持ちもあって。ただ、ずっとずっとプロになってから感じているように自分が滑れなくなってしまうことが一番ファンの方々にとって一番辛いことだと思って、なるべく足を怪我しないように、ただその中で限界に挑戦し続けられるようにというバランスを色々とりながら頑張ってます。
When it allows then once every fortnight, like that. The risk of getting injury is quite big, as a matter of fact, I actually sprained while practicing the quad-half in Beijing and it was a terribly tough experience. However, since I turned professional, as I’ve been feeling, for my fans, when I cannot skate, it would be the worst event for them, so while striking a balance not to injure my legs but to continue to push myself to the limits, I’ve been making efforts.

それか、YouTubeに配信したりとか、そういった機会もまた考えたいなと思ってますね。
「練習に、あ、跳べたという時に誰もカメラを撮っていないかったというのが一番怖いなと思っていたが、YouTubeの配信もされているんですよね。」

「動画配信を独りでやっているが苦労はあるか」
自分がもっているプログラムの数、演目の数というのがすごく限られていて、何回も何回も見ていただいているプログラムもあるからこそ本当にこのプログラムでいいのかなとか、あとは逆に新しく自分で振り付けもしたりするんですけど、これがちゃんと・・どういうふうに届くのかなと、良いプログラムになっているのかなとかそういうことはすごく・・大丈夫かなってすごく自信ない状態でずっとやってますかね。
“You even do the editing work by yourself, are there any difficulties?”
Since the number of programmes I have is limited, and there are some programmes my fans watched many times, wondering whether this programme would be fine, or when I choregraphed a new programme, then wondering how it will be accepted by viewer, or whether the programme is good enough, like that always I work for it while wondering it is ok or not.

「動画、スケートにこだわるは思っていることか」
そうですね、僕にとってYouTubeのチャンネルというのは基本的に自分が演技を見せる新しい場所みたいな感覚でとらえているので、なるべく演技は続けたいですね。
“Your videos are only showing your skating, is it what you intend?”
Well, for me YouTube channel is basically a new tool to showcase my performance, so I’d like to continue performing as long as possible.

「通常上からの映像が多いが、リンクに小型カメラを置くアイデアは羽生さん自身のアイデアか」

僕自身が実際それを見たら楽しいだろうなって最初思ったんですけど。あとは自分だからこそ好きなところに置けたりとか、自分のチャンネルだからこそ見れる角度みたいなものを提供出来たら、またフィギュアスケート、羽生結弦のフィギュアスケートみたいなところの面白さが出るかなと思ってやってます。

“Usually, skaters were shot from the upper place but you set small cameras on the ice, is it your own idea?”

I myself though such angled scenes would be interesting. Also, since I do all by myself, so I can set cameras wherever I want to. And I want to provide something taken from an unique angle which can be seen only on my channel or something special about Hanyu Yuzuru’s Figure Skating,

「サザンカで過去映像を入れて編集に時間がかかったのでは？

自身の映像を使うことには葛藤があったのでは？」

特に事故があった時の映像とかも使っていて、ファンの方々にとってもあまり見返すことはないトラウマ的なところだったんですけど、そういったものも全部乗り越えるんだって、こういうこともあったけどここまでこれたし、今はこれはこれで幸せじゃないか見たみたいなところを含めてプログラムとして、映像もプログラムの一部として使いたいなっていうのを考えていました。

“It must take a long time to edit “Sazanka” since it was added past footage, didn’t you get confused using such part footage of your own?”

I also used the scene when I got injured, for fans too such scenes are not replayed much, somewhat a kind of trauma, however including all those, I overcome whatever happens, and that’s why I’m here now and feeling happy, to express such, I wanted to use past footage as a part of the programme.

自分へのご褒美は？

ご褒美は炭酸飲料を飲むことですか。アイスショー近くなったりすると糖質控えたりとか科学的なものをちょっと止めようとか考えたりすると止めるんですけど、アイスショー、長丁場とか終わったりとか、あとは自分がすごくメインで考えていたものが達成出来たりすると炭酸飲料の見たいなぁと、ちょっとジャンクなものを食べたいなとか。

“What is your treat to yourself?”

My treat is having carbonated drink. When I preparing for an ice show, I try to cut down on sugar or not to take anything chemical, after an ice show or hard work, like when I complete something important, I feel like to have carbonated drink, or junk food.

元気になる好きな料理は？

基本は好きな料理は餃子なんですけど、でもやっぱり・・カップの焼きそばとか、たまに、たま～に食べたくなりますね。

”Another question is; any dishes to cheer yourself up?”

Basically, I love Gyoza, but well, like cup stir-fried noodles, such food I would like to have occasionally.

スケート以外ではまっていること

スケート以外って本当難しいんですけど、スケートに結局繋がっちゃうんですけど、ちょっとダンスの勉強を頑張っていて、ま、我流でしかないんですけど、色んな方々の自分がかっこいいなぁって思うダンスだったりとか、自分が目指したいなって思うダンスだったりとかそういったものをすごく勉強していることが、やっぱはまりですね。

“Is there anything you are into, besides skating?”

Oh, it’s difficult to answer, other than skating? It’d be somehow connecting to skating too though, I practicing dancing, just my own way though. Watching many dancers’ performances, I think cool or I would like to try, I study, it would be what I’m into now.

夢を覚えているか、印象的な夢は？

基本、そんなに覚えてないんですけど、小さいころに、僕、ディズニーランド言ってるみたいなんですけど小さすぎて覚えていないはずの記憶が結構夢の中に出てきたりとか。インフルエンザになったりとか高熱が出ている時ってだいたい同じ夢を見るんですけど、なんか分かんないけど弓矢を放っている夢を見ますね。

“Do you remember your dream when you wake up?”

Basically I don’t remember, but it’s strange though, I sometimes dream about when I visited Disney Land although I was too young I don’t have clear memory, or when I got a fever like when I got the flu, I usually have the same dream, but I don’t know why, I dream I’m shooting arrows.
