なんか、ずっと、結弦君に航平さまと直接の接点持ってほしいねぇって
アマチュア時代にちょくちょくささやいていたんだよね。
そういう意味でも、本当に、プロになって、こうして共にする時間がもてるようになって
嬉しいよね～ファン的にも！
Hochi interviewed Uchimura, and they released the first part of the interview today.
According to them, the interview was divided into three parts and
two more will be released tomorrow and the day after.

―同じプロとして、羽生さんの挑戦をどう見ている。転向から７か月で東京ドーム単独公演もあった。
「ありえないです（笑い）。ありえないっていうか、普通じゃできない。僕もいずれは東京ドームでやってみたいという思いがあったんですけど、そんな早くできるの？って（笑い）。
羽生結弦だから成立するんだろうし、ましてや１人でやるっていうのがすごい」
-Regarding Tokyo Dome show
“Gosh, that’s impossible. (lol) I mean from the view point of “normal” situation, just extraordinal. Myself too, I had a dream to perform in Tokyo Dome though, so easily how could he do that? (lol) It was Hanyu Yuzuru, that’s why it became “possible” though, however all by himself, oh, awesome.”

―内村さんから見た羽生さんの美しさとは？
「特にジャンプ。ひねりのジャンプですね。無駄が一切ないです。フィギュアの技術的な話は分からないんですけど、分からなくても無駄がないっていうのは見て分かります。４回転アクセルを結構、見ていたんですよ。腕と片足を上に振るっていうところがあるんですけど、あんなに人って同時に動かせるんだっていう。手と足がちゃんと、同じように動くんですよね」
-From your view point, what is Hanyu-san’s beauty?
“Especially his jumps. How he rotate in the air. There’s no useless moves. I don’t know about the techniques of Figure Skating though, even having no knowledge, just watching his jumps, I understand (its beauty). I was observing his quad Axel a lots. There’s a part that he swing up his arms and a leg, I really wonder how could he move like that. The arms and leg, exactly synchronising.”
手と足が・・・、以前のフジのインタビューでもシンクロしているっておっしゃっていたけど、シンクロさせることが内村さんが気になるほどすんごい難しいことだったのね。
また1つ結弦君のすんごいことを知らせてもらった。
Two years ago too, Uchimura mentioned that when Yuzu takes off, his arms and free-leg move synchronising, however, Sarah didn't know it's so difficult. . .
From Uchimura's comment, again we learnt how difficult it it even Yuzu does so naturally.
―それは難しいこと？
「めちゃくちゃ難しいです。多少はズレるんですけど、全く同じスピード、同じ角度で動く。相当、基本がしっかりしていないとできない。難しいことをやっても崩れなかったところが美しさにもつながるし、正しい技術で難しいことをやるっていうところが、よどみない技につながる。体操と同じですね、そこは」
-Is it difficult?
“Oh, terribly difficult. Normally, there would be a slight gap, but in his case, they move at the exactly same speed, holding the exactly same angle. That can be done only a person who got the extremely stable basic techniques. Even doing such a difficult move, but keeping the position beautifully, this would attract people as a beauty. Doing difficult trips with the accurate techniques would connect to the constant techniques. the same can be said for Gymnastics.”
―２人に共通する正しい技術。ぶれることなく、こだわって突き詰めてきた？
「逆ですね。そこをこだわって突き詰めるというより、突き詰めた結果、そこが最短だって気づくんですよ。結局、基本が一番大事というところに全て行き着く。自己流でやったとしても、それ以上の発展がない。ってなると、基本の技術を誰よりも高めておかないと、難しいことはできないっていうところにたどり着くので。体操の技術って、答えがないんですよ。フィギュアもそうだと思うんですけど。ジャンプの仕方も、見ていて人それぞれだと思うし。羽生くんはよどみないというか、無駄が全然ないように見えるのは、基本がしっかりしているからだろうなって思います。どのスポーツも基本ができていないと、最終的に戻る場所がない。全部自己流でやっていると、技がうまくいかなくなった時に、どこに戻っていいか分からなくなって、その技ができなくなる」
-That’s also something common to you two. And that what you have been strictly working for?
“It’s opposite. Not focusing on the accurate techniques, but while pursuing, you would find out having the accurate techniques is the short way. ultimately, you would find out that the basic techniques are the most important. When you keep doing by your own way, there would be no improvement. Then, you would understand that you have to have the accurate techniques to improve. There’s no answer when it comes to Gymnastics techniques, and I think it can be said for Figure Skating. How to jump too, looking at skaters jumping, I think each has different way to jump. But in case of Hanyu, there’s nothing useless, that must be because he has the stable basic techniques. If you don’t have the basic techniques, whatever sprots you do, you can find the way to improve, doing everything in your own way, when you go upper level, you would not know where to go back, and you wouldn’t about to do more.”
一度さぁ航平さまにぐりぐり系のジャンプを見てもらいたいわ。
確かにね、ぐりぐり君は（自分では進化しているようなこと言っているけど）
どんどん、後退しているもの・・でもジャッジも一緒に後退しているから
得点は上がっているけどね。😒
Mr. Uchimura, how do you say about skidding jumps?
Well, what Uchimura is telling here is actually happening in the amateur Figure Skating, however, even those skaters don't improve, but the judges don't care, scores must be decided before the performances, so, it's ok for them 😒

“Basically, we (me and Hanyu) are f〇〇king nerds,
yeah both of us.”
