レジェンド的日本人フィギュアスケーター 羽生結弦選手の2022北京オリンピックへのお別れ挨拶はかっこよかった。最終日のエキシビションで、羽生選手は、美しい衣装に身を包み、息をのむ演技を披露した。
The moment stood testament to how much the figure skater loves his sport and the ice on which he performs. Now, another cute moment is taking the fans by storm, as Yuzuru excitedly embraced the 2022 Winter Olympics mascot, Bing Dwen Dwen.
このフィギュアスケーターが、彼のスポーツを、そして彼が演技を披露する氷をどれほど愛しているかを証明した瞬間だった。そして、キュートな瞬間もファンに嵐を引き起こした。ユヅルが、2022冬季オリンピックのマスコット、ビン・ドゥン・ドゥンを熱く抱擁したのだ。
Yuzuru Hanyu was not the only one grabbing eyeballs at the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022 exhibition gala. In addition to the Japanese legend, the official mascot of the 2022 Games, Bing Dwen Dwen, was present in all his glory too.
After all, he is kind of hard to miss. Moreover, with a name that rolls off the tongue, Bing Dwen Dwen is, quite bluntly put, adorable. Apparently, Yuzuru Hanyu shares the sentiment, as he hugged the big panda by wrapping his arms around him.
2022冬季オリンピックの注目は羽生結弦選手だけではなかった。この日本人レジェンドと共に、2022大会公式マスコット ビン・ドゥン・ドゥンも栄光の中にいた。
何としても、彼は人目を引くのだ。そして、この舌を噛みそうな名前、ビン・ドゥン・ドゥンは、なんといってもかわいい。羽生結弦選手は、大きなパンダをハグして、心を通わせているようだ。
Well, it would be impossible for 5’6″ Hanyu to put his arms all around Bing Dwen Dwen with the perimeter the panda commands. Nevertheless, it didn’t stop the two-time gold medalist from wrapping his arms around the mascot, smiling throughout.

In fact, Hanyu wasn’t done with just the hug, there were head pats involved, too. Patting Bing Dwen Dwen on the head, Hanyu went back to socializing, but we’re willing to bet that the panda would be gushing the (arguably) greatest figure skater ever having been so excited to meet him.

Hanyu took everyone’s breath away as he leaned in low to the ice, performing a beautiful ‘hydroblade’ move. In fact, his face was so close to the ice that he could’ve kissed it, which is exactly what the Japanese legend did.
羽生選手は、美しいハイドロ・ブレーディングで、氷に低く体を傾け、見る人の心を奪った。実際、彼の顔は、キスすることができるほど氷に近づいていたし、本当に、この日本人レジェンドはキスしたのだ。
This was a beautiful and moving adieu to the Beijing Winter Olympics for Hanyu, where he could not defend his championship. Had Yuzuru won the gold medal this year, he would have made history by being the champion at the figure skating event for three Olympics in a row.
羽生選手が、チャンピオンの座を守れなかった北京冬季オリンピックへの美しいお別れの挨拶だった。ここで羽生選手が勝っていたら、フィギュアスケートでのオリンピック3連覇という歴史を作ることができたのだが。

Nevertheless, he has decided not to hang up his skates just yet, and there is every possibility that the world would see Yuzuru Hanyu at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano-Cortina.
でも、羽生選手はスケート靴を履き続けると決めており、2026年ミラノ・コルティーナ冬季オリンピックで世界が羽生結弦選手に会える可能性も残されている。
