姫さまは、月に？いえ、富士山に？？？

突然、自転車！
タイヤの中にいるのはかぐや姫よ！
これね、富士市の樹脂製造会社が作っていて
ちょっと話題になっているのよ
自転車に乗っても、タイヤの中のかぐや姫は回らない
無回転ホイールって言うらしいんだけど、静岡県内の市のPRにも使われているって・・

かぐやちゃん、富士市のミュージアムのホールにいるんだけど
ミュージアムの外には、やっぱり富士市と言ったら製紙工場！
ってことで、製紙会社が使っていた機械とか置いてあるんだけど

おとぎ話の「かぐや姫」は、たいがい省略されちゃっているけど

「竹取物語」を読むと、なるほどって分かるよ
あ、かぐや姫のお話しは省略していいよね？

かぐや姫のお話しには、ほとんど書かれていないけど、「竹取物語」の最後は、

かぐや姫に捨てられちゃった（じゃないだろ？！）帝が、かぐや姫が置いていった不老不死の薬を

「駿河の国にあなる山の頂」で燃やすように命じて、山の頂から煙が上り続け

その山を「不死の山」と呼ぶようになった、ってなっているんだよね

the special carriage came down from the Moon, and with Princess Kaguya, it went back to the Moon
before she left the earth, she presented elixir of life to the emperor, but the emperor didn’t want to live any longer without Princess Kaguya, so he ordered to bring it to the top of the highest mountain and burn it
by the way, in Japanese, “immortality” is called “Fushi”

この、駿河の国の（日本一高い）山、って・・そう、富士山でしょ
今の富士山（新富士）は1万５千年ぐらいまえに形成されたということで、

その後何度も噴火し、平安時代からこれまでも12回ほどの噴火が記録されているので、

物語が作られた時代はきっと富士山の噴火があったんだろうね
since then the mountain called as “Fushi-san” yeah, it then changed to “Fuji-san (Mount Fuji)”
the tale ended telling “that’s why from the top of the mountain, still smoke is coming up”

ところで、かぐや姫は「チャンドラヤーン」に乗って・・

あ！間違い！ははは！いや～！ちょっとね、チャンドラヤーンの失踪が気になって・・
インドの月面探査機を乗せたロケットなんだけどさ、昨日、月面着陸直前に更新不能になったのよ

you know, Mt. Fuji was believed to be formed approx. 15 thousand years ago, and it is still an active volcano, about 12 times of eruptions were reported in old documents in Japan
so, maybe, when the tale was created, Mt. Fuji was very much active and volcanic smoke was visible. . .

富士市では、面白い伝説があるらしいのよ
かぐや姫は、なんと！月ではなくて富士山に登っちゃったそうな！
in the original tale, Princess Kaguya was a girl from the Moon and went back to the Moon, but, in Fuji City, they have another story, it goes that Princess Kaguya was from Mt. Fuji, and went back to the top of Mt. Fuji
