「しゃぎり」って知っている？
サラ、新宿の職場に入るまで、「しゃぎり」って誰でも知っている言葉って思っていたけど、職場では、な、な、なんと、だ～れも知らなかったのよ！
ええ？方言？

いや、一応、歌舞伎でも使われているし、ちゃんとした日本語だよね！
each area has their own festival music as well as dance
and so as here in Mishima
三島のお祭りは、このしゃぎり（お囃子）なくして語れない！
people are really crazy about it here!
だってね、桜の季節の頃から、屋上に上がると、夜な夜な
市内のどこかからか、聞こえてくるのよ「しゃぎり」
so, sometime around Sakura season,
people start practicing, so at night, from somewhere
we can hear “Shagiri” being practiced
各町内で、しゃぎりを練習して
そして大社のお祭りで大爆発～！！
here, each community has their own Shagiri team
and compete each other during the 3-day festival
そして各町内、それぞれが山車をもっていて
お祭りの3日間、しゃぎりチームを山車にのせて
町内を練り歩き、そして大社に向かう！
and each community has their own Shagiri float
during the festival, community people pull their float
with Shagiri team on it, and drive around the city
and at night all floats gather on the main street
だから、夜になると各町内の山車が、大社前の「東海道」を練って
他の町内と出会うと競り合いが始まる！
