結弦君のコンパルソリー Yuzu's compulsory

どんよりと週が明けた？先日、ひょっこり富士山に会えたけど
今日も富士山は雲の中・・・
here in Japan, still so sticky, and the sky is covered with clouds

フォルダを整理していたら、動画を見つけたんだけど
なんと、ブライアンのカルガリーオリンピックでの
「コンパルソリー」の映像！

“1988? wow! even I was not born yet!”

そう言えば、結弦君、ピョンチャンでの最初の
試合会場での練習・・TV各局が
「羽生は、大丈夫か？」結弦君をカメラが追っかけていて
そんな中、すぃ～！すぃ～！と結弦君、「コンパルソリー」
oh, Yuzu too doing the compulsory in PyeongChang!
while all TV cameras were focusing on him
and many wondered whether “Hanyu is fine enough to fight?”

結弦君のコンパルソリーの部分をスローで動画にしたよ！
結弦君、ここでずっと同じターンを繰り返しているけど
どのターンか分かった？
made a slow motioned video of a TV show
in which Yuzu was quietly continuing the compulsory
he’s practicing just one type of turns,
could you recognise which one he’s doing here?

最初は12秒あたりからで・・
左バックアウト(LBO)で時計回り(CW)の弧を描いて
ブレードが反時計回り(CCW)に回ってターンして
左フォワード(前)インで(LFI)でまたCWの弧
ブラケットだね！

Yuzu was skating in a Clockwise arc (CW)
with his Left Back Out-edge(LBO)
then turned the blade in the counter-clockwise (CCW) and
again making a CW arc with Left Forward In-edge
yeah, it’s a Bracket Turn!

足を変えて今度は右で
動画の20秒あたりから始まるよ
then changing legs to the right
the turn starts at around 20 sec.

右フォワードイン（RFI）から、右バックアウト(RBO)で
CCWの円を描きながら、CWのターン
they are also a spacies of Sarracenia

ここは、35秒あたりからの左LFI-LBO-LFIの
ターンとところ
最初のターンの直後一瞬きれいなトレースが出るよ！
then around 35 sec of the vide,
two bracket turns conducted in LFI-LBO-LFI
at the tuning, you may see a clean trace!
