ちょっと怪し気で、でも、妙にかわいい食虫植物
dangerous but cute, insectivorous plants
モウセンゴケ
ねばねばの液でキラキラするオレンジの部分が
虫さんを誘惑して、で、ふらふらってやってきた虫さんを
粘液でくっつけてパクリ！
Sundews
which invite insects with its shining orange parts
and catch insects with its sticky mucus
モウセンゴケの仲間って150種類もあるんだって
there are 150 species of Sundews in the world
かわいい顔して・・虫さん食べちゃうミミカキグサ
ってか、名前、かわいそう！
Bladderworts
beautiful flowers but also with their leaves they eat insects
おなじみ、ハエトリグサ
Venus flytrap
サラね、何度かこの子たち買って
そして・・・み～んな枯れちゃって
どうしてもお家で育ってくれない！
Sarah bought this plant some times
but somehow can’t grow them . . .
サラセニア
形はずいぶん違うけどウツボカズラのように
落とし穴式に虫を捕まえちゃう子
Sarracenia;
they are family of pitcher plants
こちらもサラセニアの仲間
they are also a spacies of Sarracenia
そしてウツボカズラ
and Raffles’ Pitcher-plants
もう、サラのブログでは何度も登場している
箱根の湿生花園
この時期にいつも食虫植物が展示されるのよ
なので去年も同じようなお写真アップしているけど
また覗きに行っちゃった！
in Hakone Botanical Garden of Wetlands,
they have insectivorous plant exhibition every year
so last year too, Sarah posted some photos of these plants
familiar though, but yet very interesting
