昨日、ループとサルコーの踏み切り時のフリーレッグの位置の話題で、離氷時の回転のこともって
思っていたんだけど・・
結弦君のジャンプ前、後のきれいなスケート魅入って・・
そっちの話題で時間切れになっちゃったので、昨日の続き
yesterday, we checked how to distinguish which is Loop or Salchow, however just before the taking-off, the page ended
since Sarah wanted to talk something about Yuzu pre and post jump movements
トゥ系ジャンプって、つま先を突くインパクトで飛躍力を得られるけど、エッジ系のジャンプは、
結弦君のアクセルを見るとよくわかるように、フリーレッグを振り上げる力を利用して
飛躍力を得るわけじゃん
アクセルは前向きなので、フリーレッグは後ろから前に振り上げて、ループとサルコーは
横から巻き込むように振り上げて飛躍力をつけているんだね
in case of Toe jumps, skaters can utilize the impact of sticking their toe on the ice for their jumps, however in case of edge jumps, they use their free legs to gain jumping power, the easiest way to see it is an Axel jump, when Yuzu jumps an Axel, he swings his free legs forward, Loops and Salchows too, but from the side to create jumping and centrifugal force
ちょい寄り道だけど、飛躍力だけを考えると、大きく振れるアクセルがより大きな飛躍力を
得られそうだけど、フィギュアスケートのジャンプって回転しなきゃならないから、
飛び上がる力をコントロールして回転を作るということを考えると、
アクセルって力やタイミングをコントロールするのがきっととても難しいんだろうね
その難しい回転がさらに前向き離氷なので、半回転余分にしなきゃならない
確かにジャンプの王様だね！
meanwhile, when we think about jumping power itself, probably, since Axel’s swinging amplitude is bigger, so it may get bigger jumping power, but jumps of Figure Skating is not only jumping high nor long distance but need rotations, so they must control jumping power to create turning force
so Axel jumps must be very difficult to control forces and timing
moreover, since it’s jumped forward, so it needs more rotation, that why even we just call “triple-Axel” but actual rotation is three and half
yeah, it’s true that Axel jump is the king of jumps
そうそう、でね、ループとサルコーだけど、傾いた体の外側にフリーレッグがくるけど、
いざジャンプとなると、横にあるフリーレッグを振り上げるでしょ
横からなので振り上げると同時遠心力（回転力）も同時に得られているんだよね
だから、フリーレッグと一緒に体も踏み切りの足（エッジ）も勢いで回転を始めるわけ
let’s go back to Loops and Salchow, after setting the free leg aside, the at the taking off, swing the free leg sideway
so in this case a bit easier they can get jumping power together with the turning force
but then together with the free leg, the skater’s body also edge on the ice too start rotating

最近プレローテーションが話題になっているけど、でも、ループとサルコーの場合は、
回転数をごまかすとかじゃなくって、ジャンプのプロセスとして
ある程度の「プレローテーション」が伴ってくるの
（どの程度回転するかはスケーターによるけど、やっぱ結弦君のジャンプは、
そう言われても、回ってない気もしちゃうんだけどね～～！）
we often talk about “pre-rotation” these days, however in case of Loops and Salchow, not to cheat, but as a process of jumping, “pre-rotation” would occur
(how much degree of rotation is depends on the skater, but since Yuzu’s jumps are so clean, often can’t recognise and pre-rotation!!!)
そう言えば、クワド・ループを3年前に結弦君が試合で世界初を記録したけど、もう1人の
オリンピック2連覇のバトンさんが、初公式トリプル・ループを跳んだのって・・
なんか縁があるね～！
incidentally, Yuzu jumped the quad-Loop in Canada, 2016 as the first skater jumped it officially, and in 1952, “Dick” Button jumped the first official triple-Loop
what a coincident!!!
ちょっと話題がそれるけど・・・
not about these two jumps though
さっき、アクセルもちらっと出てきたけど、初霜の精のステップでなんとも
アクセルの好きな結弦君って思えるところがあったでしょ？
talking about “Axel”, there’s a part in the step sequence which shows Yuzu loves Axel so much!
ステップの中に入れ込んだアクセル・・たぶん、オープン・アクセル？
↑訂正です！手足の開き方からオープンって思い込んだけど、
左足着氷が気になっていて・・そしたら弓さんのコメントでいい情報をもらったの
今まで知らなかったけど、「ワンフットアクセル」と言う左足着氷のアクセルがあることを
と言うことで、ここは「ワンフットアクセルに」に訂正します！m(__)m（遅い！）
マスカレイドのファントムさまの空間利用、すごいって先日言いながら、
このシーンが心に浮かんでいたのよ
even in the steps, Yuzu can use as Axel, probably, this one is an “Open Axel”
when Sarah was talking about Yuzu’s amazingly skilful usage of the SPACE, this scene was also in her mind
ハイドロでこれ以上低くならないぞ！ぐらいまで低い位置で、そこから一気にジャンプ、
それも高さだけじゃなくって手足でもっと大きな空間を支配して、さらに、着氷直後の中腰！
中間の位置も！そして手を高く上げて、その次に右足を上げながら両手も！
低・中・高・幅、全ての空間を最大限に使う氷上・空間の魔術師！
結弦君の演技がみんなを完全に魅了させちゃうのって
きっとこの空間の魔術師も大いに活躍しているからだろうな・・
you know with the Hydroblading, the lowest part is occupied, then with his Axel, occupying such a high space too, then not only just landing, but soon, he bend his body to the middle space! after this too, using his body, even free leg, he’s using all the part of SPACES!
see, Yuzu is not only the Magician of the ice but also the Magician of SPACE!
Yuzu's performances are always captured our heart so deeply
and one of the methods of capturing our hearts must be
the amazingly fantastic usage of the SPACE!
