気になるアメリカ側実行委員！インタビュー2回目
こんばんはー！
今日、事務所へ向かっている途中、ふと空を見たら
ものすごい速さで雲が流れていました。
まるで掃除機で吸われているかのように、それはそれは早かったです。
？
ポエティックに表現しようと思ったのになんか違う？
ちょうど事務所に着いた瞬間、雨が降り始めました。
通りであんな空模様だったのか、と納得。
これからますます寒くなるようなので、
皆さん、風邪には十分気をつけてくださいね。
さてさて、前置きはこれくらいにして、
実行委員ほんだによるインタビューに行きましょう！

1) Why did you apply to 60th JASC?
- I wanted to discuss contemporary issues with American students, especially environmental problems.
2) How was 60th JASC? (Did it influence you in some way? If so, how etc)
-I am still digesting 60th JASC. It's too hard to describe my JASC experience (I believe others' too) with artificial tool of communication, i.e. language. 60th JASC surly has changed my values, way of thinking and even life (I'll see in future whether or not it's true, though).
I got a big family out of 60th JASC, and I am hoping to add more to this big family out of 61st as well!! :D
3) What was the most memorable thing in 60th JASC?
-You can read 60th JASC Hokokusho to get the answer. heheehe :P
4) If you had to express JASC in one phrase or word, how would you describe it?
-"Life-Changing" as many of the past JASCers have said
5) When is the happiest moment in a day?
-Now, my happiest moment is when I'm chatting with friends here. But much happier moment is when I talk with JASCers on the phone.
6) Imagine that now you were in an inhabited island and were allowed to bring only 3 items. What would you bring? and why?
-A group of JASCers (since this is "a group" of JASCers, this should be counted as "one" item. :P)
This is because with them I never feel lonely wherever I am.
-A laptop
To do my AEC work (I am a responsible AEC)

7) What would you do on the last day of the earth?
-Have a huge JASC reunion!!!
8) Have you ever been to Japan?
-Hell yes!!! I had never got out of Japan until last year actually....
9) What is your favourite phrase or word in Japanese?
-一期一会。
10) Give a short message for the readers in English.
-I love you!!!! I am the authority of JASC...blablabla...find out during 61st!!
11) Please say something in Japanese ( could be a word or message! and also could be anything! )
-あっ、どうも初めまして。なんか日本語だとフォーマルに・・・笑
今一番食べたいのはおでんです！！！日本に帰ったら（来年のＪＡＳＣ開催時にアメリカ側代表と一緒に来日）まず、白いご飯を死ぬほど食べたいです笑
12) What were you doing just before answering the questions now?
-I was making Canadians laugh at the cafeteria!!!

1) Why did you apply to 60th JASC?

さてさて始まりました。 実行委員ほんだによるブログ企画第1段。
昨日予告していたタイトルと若干違うことは、あまり気にしないでください。
内容はタイトル通り、アメリカ側実行委員にインタビューをしよう！
というもので、なぜインタビューしようかと思ったのかと言えば、
だって、
どんな人が実行委員をやってるんだろう…？
って気になりませんか？
インタビューの質問には、たわいもない、何気ない質問も含まれてます。
実行委員として、もっと重みのある質問や人生経験を答えてもらうべきなのかな、とも一瞬迷いました。
でも
何気ない質問に対する答えから浮かび上がる人柄があるだろうなと。
きっとその方が、
実行委員一人一人のその人「らしさ」がより伝わるのではという気がします。
正統派な自己紹介でイメージをこりかためてしまう前に、
フランクな質問の答えから、アメリカ側実行委員がどんな人間なのか、
純粋にイメージしてみてください。
簡単でいいから答えてね～とお願いしたので、
フランクかつ読みやすく答えてくれていると思います。

1) Why did you apply to 60th JASC?
- Because my TA was in the AEC
2) How was 60th JASC? (Did it influence you in some way? If so, how etc)
-It was incredible! It helped me build the confidence that I needed to actually act on my ideas rather than keep them as ideas in my head.
3) What was the most memorable thing in 60th JASC?
-The people. More specifically, the friendships made. Between the delegates and the ECs of the 60th JASC, I have made more friends in the 4 weeks of JASC than I have in years of school.
4) If you had to express JASC in one phrase or word, how would you describe it?
-The best and most invaluable experience that any student can have during their college career.
5) When is the happiest moment in a day?
-Bedtime. (the unhappiest moment is waking up)
6) Imagine that now you were in an inhabited island and were allowed to bring only 3 items. What would you bring? and why?
- 1st item: Boy Scout Handbook so that I will have an authoritative work on living off the land and such.
2nd item: My knife so that I can do what the Boy Scout Manuel says.
3rd item: a good book to read so that I won't get bored.
7) What would you do on the last day of the earth?
-Play video games all day!
8) Have you ever been to Japan?
-Yes. I've been to Osaka, Nara, and Nagoya.
9) What is your favourite phrase or word in Japanese?
-雰囲気.
10) Give a short message for the readers in English.
-Hi all! I'm Ed, and I can't wait to meet all the 61st JASCers!
