淀川へ春を訪ねて! to share the joy of spring with birds
今日(08.3.18)は晴天、暖かくて気持ちが良い。
春の様子が知りたくて、淀川をそろそろと散策してみた。
思いのほか春は進んでいて驚いた。カワヤナギの緑の新芽が新鮮だ。
新芽を食べにヒヨドリがいて、メジロが柳の花の蜜を吸っていた。
ツグミ、モズ、ムクドリが柳の新芽の中に休んでいた。
河川敷は小さい春の花、タンポポ、ホトケノザ、ナズナ、ヒメオドリコソウ、
オオイヌノフグリが咲いていた。
寒い冬の後の待ちに待った春。暫らく春を楽しもう。
I would like to share the joy of spring with birds in the dry revierbed of
Yodogawa.I stralled along the revier,and piked up springs.
I was amazed to see weeping willows putting out fresh sprouts,
which shows the advent spring.
The tiny lovely wild flowers,Dandelons,Lamium amplexicules and Red deadnettles
are in bloom. Male and female Skylarks are in love.They are chirping lovely songs.
Winter is gone. Spring has come. Everything is full of life and joy.

大阪城の梅園の梅の花も満開となった。
梅園のメジロと遊んでもらった。
梅にウグイスといわれているが、
梅には緑色のメジロがよくあう

小学校の児童とバードウォッチングBirdwatching with schoolboys
3月7日大阪市立姫里小学校の児童と淀川に出てバードウォツチングを指導しました。
児童52人と数人の父兄対象、日本野鳥の会大阪支部の会員に協力を御願いし指導しました。
樫内さん、松岡さん、清水さん、中野さん、山崎さん、丸井さんお忙しい中、協力いただきました。
この小学校では環境教育に熱心な田先生がおられもう5年前から私は野鳥観察に協力しています。
野外での野鳥観察は4回目となりました。この野鳥観察会は毎年4年生に指導していて、
当校の伝統となりつつあり、児童も楽しみにしている、メモをとりながら熱心に観察してくれました。
野鳥に興味を持つことにより、自然環境を学び自然環境の大切さを認識してくれるものと期待しています。
観察した野鳥: カワウ、ホシハジロ、キンクロハジロ、ヒドリガモ、オナガガモ、カルガモ、ユリカモメ、
セグロカモメ、ツグミ、イソヒヨドリ、ヒバリ、ムクドリ、スズメ。
I led the
4th grade 53 pupils and some their parents at
Since five years ago,I have led the school’s birdwatching field tour, which is now becoming an traditional event. The pupils are looking forward to it. They earnestly observed birds with taking note.
This time I asked my 6 birdwaching friends to help me as interpreters.
We have watched birds such as Great Cormorant, Pochard, Tafted Duck, Wigeon, Pintail, Spot-billed Duck, Black-headed Gull, Herring Gull, Dusky Thrush, Blue Rock Thrush, Sky Lark, White-cheeked Starling, Tree Sparrow.

二宮尊徳さんの像、懐かしい、何処の学校にもこの像は建っている。しみじみ眺めてみた。
働きながら学、日本人の教育の原点と改めて考えさせられた。日本人のハードワーキング、
勤勉さ、忍耐はここからだ。もうこれらのことは忘れかけているが、この原点に帰って考えて
みる必要があると思った。

He holds a book in his hand, works as well as reads it.
We now hold a cellphone instead of a book.
