飛んで飛んで飛んで…実家無し海外在住者の日本滞在記 2日目

旅程2日目この日は早朝から

成田空港へ戻り国内線で下地島へ飛んだ。

宮古島で姉弟と合流することになっている。

彼らは羽田から宮古空港へ入る予定。

実家もないことだし

いっそ姉弟で旅行しようという話になったのだ。

沖縄に行きたいと言ったら

どの島に行きたいか聞かれたのだが

千原ジュニアファンとしては

宮古島くらいしか思いつかない。

しかも宮古島は一つの島ではなく

自分達は橋で繋がっているとは言え

宮古島のメインアイランドではない島に

着くというのも

弟に指摘されるまで気付いていなかった。

旅行先はミーハーな理由だけで選んではダメだ。

ゴールデンウィークは終わっていたし

航空券とホテルとレンタカーだけ取って

あとは現地で決めればと思っていたら

姉弟に宮古島で何がしたいかと出発前に聞かれ

『シュノーケリングとかパラセーリング？』と

一応YouTube等で仕入れた情報から絞り出すと

姉がシュノーケリング

弟がパラセーリングの予約を

それぞれ手際よくしてくれていた。

大変ありがたい話である。

しかし宮古初日にパラセーリング…

出発まで少し時間があったので

ドンキに寄って成田のイオンモールで

買えなかった物を少し買って

首から下げられる水中でも安心な

携帯電話を入れる透明のポーチ的な物も買った。

パラセーリングの時ビデオは撮りたいけど

万が一携帯を落としたらどうしよう！

という不安がずっとあったのだが

これで安心と思いきや

このポーチは良い意味で

その後一度も使う必要はなかった。

パラセーリングの会社の人が

全員にＧｏＰｒｏを無料で貸してくれたのだ。

パラセーリングはとにかく楽しかった。

飛ぶ前はちょっと怖かったけれど

空中では案外安定している。

静止状態でブランコに乗っている様な感覚だ。

寧ろ恐いのは下りる時。

ゆっくりゆっくり引き戻されるのだが

その時微妙な音がする。

飛んだ後はまた機会があったら飛んでも良い

という気持ちになった。

そんな時夫にだけもう一度飛ぶチャンスが訪れた。

諸事情により弟が飛べなくなり

代打で夫が姉と一緒に飛ぶことになったのだ。

体重のバランスの関係で

一番最初に飛べと言われた私と夫であったが

また最後に夫が飛ぶことにより

パラセーリングのスタッフさんは

ちょっと大変だったのではないだろうか。

その日の夜はドライブして姉が見つけた

食べログに出ていた居酒屋へ行ってみた。

こんなところに居酒屋があるのか？

これは民家なんじゃ...と思った直ぐ横に

突如居酒屋が現れた。

ここが本当に美味しかったし

申し訳ないぐらいお安かった。

参考までに姉は食べログ系のブロガーで

実は結構すごい人らしい。

知らんけど。

そして夕日を見た。

Day 2 of the trip: We returned to Narita Airport early in the morning and flew to Shimoji Island. We were to meet up with our siblings in Miyako Island. They were planning to fly into Miyako Airport from Haneda. We decided to go on a trip together as siblings, since we don't have a family home. When I said I wanted to go to Okinawa, they asked me which island I wanted to go to, but as a Chihara Junior fan, Miyako Island was the only one I could think of. Furthermore, Miyako Island is not just one island, and even though we are connected by a bridge, I didn't realize that we would arrive at an island that is not the main island of Miyako Island until my brother pointed it out to me. You can't choose a travel destination just for trendy reasons. Golden Week was over, so I thought I would just buy the plane ticket, hotel, and rental car and decide the rest on the spot. But before we left, my siblings asked me what I wanted to do on Miyako Island, and I answered, "Snorkeling or parasailing?" From the information I had gathered from YouTube, etc., I narrowed it down, and my sister made the reservations for snorkeling, and my brother made the reservations for parasailing, and they each made the reservations very efficiently.

But parasailing on the first day in Miyako...

We had a little time before departure, so I stopped by Donki and bought some things I couldn't buy at Aeon Mall in Narita, and also bought a transparent pouch-like thing to put my cell phone in that I could hang around my neck safely even in the water.

I wanted to take videos while parasailing, but I was always worried about what to do if I dropped my phone!

I thought this would give me peace of mind, but in a good way, I didn't need to use this pouch even once after that.

The person from the parasailing company lent everyone a GoPro for free.

Parasailing was just fun.

I was a little scared before flying, but it was surprisingly stable in the air.

It felt like I was on a swing in a stationary state.

What was more scary was coming down.

We were slowly pulled back, and there was a subtle sound when we did that.

After flying, I felt like I could fly again if I had the chance.

At that time, my husband had the chance to fly again. For some reasons my brother was unable to fly, so my husband and sister joined him as substitutes.

Due to weight balance, my husband and I were the first to fly, but my husband went last again, which must have been a bit of a challenge for the parasailing staff.

That night we went for a drive and went to an izakaya my sister had found on Tabelog.

Is there an izakaya in a place like this? I thought this must be a private home, but suddenly an izakaya appeared right next to it. The food was really delicious, and so cheap I felt bad about it.

For your information, my sister is a Tabelog blogger and apparently quite an impressive person.
