ぶらり鉈屋町(なたやちょう)Part2
アメリカのニューヨーク・タイムズ紙が発表した
「2023年に行くべき52カ所」
に選ばれた
「盛岡市」
盛岡らしいところに行ってみたいと「鉈屋町(なたやちょう)」界隈を散策中
前回は「もりおか町屋物語館」を堪能しました
This time we went to "Daiji Shimizu", which is tens of meters away from "Morioka Machiya Monogatarikan".
さて今回は・・・
「もりおか町屋物語館」から、数十メートルほど離れた場所にある
江戸時代は湧水池で、明治初期有志により大慈寺境内の湧水から木管で引水し原形が造られ、
鉈屋町、神子田、下町界隈の生活用水として使われてきました。
When we looked from the entrance, it looked like this photo.
入り口側から見ると、こんな感じ

…になりそうだ、…になるらしい
The first well is for drinking.
一番井戸は飲用
井戸って「well」って言うらしい・・・ほぅ・・・
Too clear!
Of course I tried to drink it, and it didn't have any extra flavor.
めっちゃクリア~
もちろんお味見いたしましたよ
なんの雑味もございません
The second well is for washing rice.
二番井戸は米磨ぎ用
The third well is for washing vegetables and dishes.
三番井戸は野菜・食器洗い場
It may be okay to wash vegetables and dishes together...
野菜と食器は一緒に洗っても・・・いいのかもしれない
The fourth well is for rinsing clothes.
四番井戸は洗濯物すすぎ場
rinse
すすぐ、ゆすぐ、すすぎ落とす
In this way, each well has a purpose for its use.
と井戸の用途が決まっているのです
When we looked from the opposite side, it looked like this photo.
反対側から見ると、こんな感じ
While we were here, some people came to get this water.
訪れている間にも、お水を汲みに来ている人がおりました
Because the water from this well is one of the three of good waters in Morioka City!
何てったって「盛岡三名水」の1つ
It seems that many people who live far away come to get this water.
わざわざ名水を汲みにくる遠来の人も多いようですよ
