Crabapple

梅の花が、咲きました。こうやって花が咲いてくれると、去年あれだけがんぱった甲斐があるってもんです。こちらは、5月でも、寒暖の差が大きく、春たけなわを思わせる陽気の日もあれば、冬が戻ったかと思わせるような日も。梅が咲くと、やっと春だなと感じます。



また、日が長くなってきて、外で遊べる時間が増えてきました。

れいくんは、パパの芝刈りの様子を見て、まねしています。



後ろにワゴンを引いて、刈った芝を入れているあたりが、本格的です。

Birthday Party

We threw a Birthday Party for Aiko's First and Ray's Third Birthday! Ray blew the three candles very nicely, and Aiko enjoyed the first birthday cake very much.

愛子1才、レイ3歳のお誕生日会を行いました！

Ray has three candles and Aiko has one!
レイくん側には3本の、愛子ちゃん側には1本の、ろうそくです！



Of course Ray wants a red cake..The red icing is a ladybug.
もちろん、レイくんは、赤いケーキを食べます。赤い部分は、てんとう虫のつくりものです。






Aiko liked the cake very much. She got a lot of suger on her face.
愛子ちゃん、ケーキおいしかったみたいで、お顔がクリームだらけです。






Family from out of state were here as well as our friends. We had a good crowd of people and had a good time.

家族、友人に来ていただき、良いパーティになりました。

Ray's Birthday

レイ君が、三歳の誕生日を迎えました！家族四人＋一頭で、お祝いしました！
Our family of four plus one dog celebrated Ray's third birthday!

「赤いケーキ」を希望したレイ君は、赤いイチゴののったチーズケーキでお祝いです。
愛子ちゃんも、ケーキのクリームをちょっとお味見。おいしいみたい。
We celebrated his birthday with red cake that he wanted - cheese cake with red strawberries.
Aiko tried a cream of the cake - mmm yummy.




「赤いプレゼント」がほしかったレイ君は、赤いトラクター他の乗り物のおもちゃをいただきました。
Ray wished for a red present - and he got a red tractor and other farm equipment.



愛子ちゃんも興味深深。
Aiko's interested in the tractor too.




毎年恒例の、身長測定。95.5cmでした。成長の様子が伺えます。
"Watch me grow" We measure height every year. Ray was 37.5 inches.

Cruise Vacation

We had a really good vacation on Western Caribbean cruise! It was very refreshing and we had a good time.

西カリブ海のクルーズに行ってきました！振り返ると短い一週間でした。

Ray is playing on the beach. It's the first time for him to be on a beach. Color of the water is unbelieveably beautiful.
レイ君、初の海です。カリブ海の海は、絵に描いたようにきれいですね。

Crawling

愛子ちゃんが、はいはいを始めました！
目標を定めると一目散です！そのくせ、ときたま
「はいはいなんてできなんわ」などと泣いたりします。
初めてはいはいした記念すべき日は2月17日でした！

Aiko has started crawling! She goes straight to what she wants!
She sometimes acts as if she does not know how to crawl especially when she's stuck under a table.. The memorable first-day-of-crawling was February 17th.

Aiko and Graphite

Aiko and Graphite get along very well. Well, even so sometimes it gets annoying to him I suppose..

Winter Beauty

It's been very warm since the end of last year. I was hoping that the warmth would last till spring. Well, the life was not that easy. We had a nice cold snowfall lately. We took some pictures of our place. Looks beautiful, tough to deal with. Anyhow we had a nice sunny day after a great snow fall.

12月はとても寒く大変な冬を予期していたのですが、今年に入りずっと暖かい日が続いておりました。このまま春までと期待していたのですが、そうは簡単にはいきませんでした。ま、久々の雪です。家の周りの写真を撮りましたのでごらんください。見た目には美しい雪化粧ですので。

Winter has Come!

最近の家族の様子です。
愛子ちゃんはすっかりおすわりが上手に。
レイ君は雪の中でも元気、元気。
クリスマスツリーを出しました。

November Update

愛子ちゃんは、感謝祭の日におすわりを始めました！
レイくんは、ちゃぶ台をベッドに見立ててお布団を敷きねんねの真似。
