Religions and Beliefs in Japan.”

Most Japanese people do not belong to any religion, though,

They believe that nature such as mountains, trees, and rivers are gods, and that there are gods in the kitchens and toilets at home.

They believe that if you do something wrong, you should not do it because “the Lord of Heaven is watching you.

Japanese people have such religious beliefs even if they do not have a specific religion.

They still believe in the stories in “Kojiki” and the gods mentioned in the stories.
