Freelance journalist, Kenji Goto reports from Syria, where the northern city of Ayn al-Arab, or Kobani in the Kurdish language, is the latest focus of international efforts to halt Islamic State extremists.
フリーランスのジャーナリスト後藤健二がシリアからレポートします。
アイン・アル＝アラブの北部の街、またはクルド語ではコバニは、
イスラム国の過激派を制止する国際的な取り組みの最新の焦点です。
The city sits on the border with Turkey, and Kurds make up the the majority of its population. Kurdish forces are trying to defend the city with help of the US-led coalition. Residents have been fleeing the violence and taking refuge on the other side of the border.
この街は、トルコとの国境に位置し、クルド人が人口の大多数を占めています。
クルド軍は米国有志連合の助けで街を守ろうとしています。
住民は暴力を逃れ、国境の反対側に避難してきています。
The city of Ayn al-Arab is just a stone-throw's away from the Turkish border town of Suruc.
アイン・アル＝アラブのこの街は、トルコ国境スルクの街から
ほんの目と鼻の先です。
Nearly 180,000 people from Syria have poured over the border since the Islamic State militant group started attacking their hometown. Since there's no official refugee camp, people are scattered everywhere.
シリアからおよそ18万人の人々が、IS過激グループが彼らの故郷を攻撃し始めて以来、国境を越えて流れ込んで来ました。
公式の難民キャンプがないので、人々はいたる所に撒き散らされています。
50 year old Yusef Talubini says he fled Syria 2 days ago with 14 other families. "Islamic State fighters suddenly appeared and took away all our belongings and land," he says. "They killed men, women and children.
We had no choice but to flee."
50歳のﾖｾﾌ・ﾀﾙﾋﾞﾆは、他の14家族と共に2日前に
シリアを逃れて来たと言います。
「ISの戦闘機が突然現れて、私たちの持ち物と土地全部を奪った」
と彼は言います。

120 people are taking shelter in an unfinished building with bare concrete floors. Since they were not able to bring much with them, residents have have given them mattresses and tarps. They get water from a nearby mosque. "I never imagined I would be sleeping at a construction site," Talubini says. "I heard on the news that the US and France were helping the Kurds. But we receive no help."

On an important Muslim holiday, some of the refugee women were cooking mutton they managed to find. "In our village we were safe and sound," says Nagam Talubini. "Now, children ask for this and that, but we cannot give them what they want."

US coalition forces have been bombarding Islamic State targets. The US military's Central Command says the air strikes appear to have slowed the militant group's advance. On Sunday, the US military air-dropped weapons, ammunition and medical supplies to Kurdish forces defending the city on the ground.
米国有志連合軍は、ISを目標に砲撃しています。米軍の中央司令部は、空爆は過激派グループの進行を遅らせているようだと言います。日曜日には、米軍の空爆兵器、弾薬や医療品などを土地を守るクルド勢力に供給しています。
Men from the area say the coalition strikes have achieved little. They have also say many of the Islamic State fighters they encounter appear to be foreigners. "They hardly spoke Arabic," says Ashraf Muhmood. "Many were speaking French. Even if we pleaded for help, they did not understand us. They refuse to listen to women and children. Anyone who did not obey their orders was killed."
この地域の人々は、連合軍の攻撃は

Islamic State's advance is pushing more people out of their homes. The number of refugees is increasing, creating a new humanitarian crisis.
ISの進行は、さらに多くの人々を故郷の外に推し出しています。
難民の数は益々増え、新たな人道的危機を生み出しています。

Confusing, conflicting info about the US assisted attacks on Isis forces in Kobani (Syria)
I just saw a news reporter interviewing some fresh Syrian refugees who had to flee Kobani and cross the Turkish border.
Besides the fact that there is absolutely NO help or place for them to stay (thousands taking shelter in a concrete building under
construction) the men said something very curious. They said that although the US has been dropping defensive bombs and dropping weapons for the Kurds, The Islamic State troops were rapidly gaining ground. They said there was absolutely no one defending them (the town's residents) and that they were all forced to flee across the border by Islamic State troops that (here's the weird part) didn't seem to speak any Arabic but rather were speaking French. They said they would appeal to them but these troops didn't seem to understand what they were saying and would kill anyone who didn't follow their orders

矛盾する情報に混乱されられる
私は、ちょうど、
トルコ国境を越えてコバニに逃げなければならない、
ある生々しいシリア難民への取材記者のインタビューを見ていました。
全く彼らには何の救援も泊まる場所もない（建設中のコンクリートの
建物の中で避難している何千人もの人々）という事実以外に、
その人達は、何かとても奇妙なことを言ったのです。
彼らはこう言いました。
「アメリカ軍がクルド人に防衛の爆弾投下や空爆をしていたけれども、
IS軍はどんどん前進していたのです。」
「全く誰一人として、彼ら（町の住民）を助ける者はいませんでした。
そして、彼らは、IS軍によって国境を越えて逃亡することを余儀なくされました。」
「（ここが奇妙な部分です。）IS軍はアラビア語を話しているようには見えず、
むしろフランス語を話しているようでした。」と彼らは言ったのです。
「クルドの住人が懇願しても、そのIS軍は彼らが何を言っているのか解らないようでした。そして、命令に従わない者は誰でも殺したでしょう。」と言いました。

A:お金で雇われて外国から来た傭兵だから。
・・なんですよね。
NATOの傭兵が主になっているんです。
そればかりか、米国からも兵士や武器や物資が
トルコルートでISに運ばれているという事実が発覚しています。
アメリカでは毎日18人前後の元兵士が自ら命を絶っている。
アフガニスタンとイラクからの帰還兵だけでも自殺者は、
戦死者の数を上回る。
だから米国も自国の兵士の代わりを求めています。
自衛隊がもし戦地に駆り出されるとしたら、
帰還して心を病んだ父や母、
息子や娘で日本は溢れかえることでしょうね。
政府は女性の徴兵を望んでいますから。
家族崩壊。国家崩壊。内側から壊れていくでしょう。

おそらく、人質事件の際、
後藤さんが、どんな内容の取材をしたかを、
米国政府も、日本政府も 知っていたでしょうね。
さぞ両政府にとって、不都合な内容だったことでしょう。
救出活動のときに「全力を挙げて対応」していると言った安倍が、
色々なことの隠蔽に「全力を挙げて」いた情景が
ありありと思い浮かびます。
情報操作、イメージ戦略に血道を上げる姿は
ナチのプロパガンダの如くです。
「テロリストたちを絶対に許さない」
「その罪を償わせる」と息巻いていたけれど、
まず、ご自分の罪を償いなさい。
自分の胸に手を当てて、恥ずかしいと思わないのか！
今すぐ、辞任！
籾井も辞めろ！
