I also like the "heart" on the book cover. Is this is real book, or some kind of joke?!?!?

If you are divorced, you don't want to say "I divorced." You should say "I am divorced." You could expand it and say "I divorced my ex-husband in 1993 because he was cheating on me." We can say ex- for a person who is no longer with you. Another example is "I broke up with my ex-girlfriend the other day." You can respond with: "Oh, sorry to hear that."

"Cheating" is when your lover goes with someone else while you are still together! (Not cool.)

I haven't met anyone that has said anything like "HOORAY! やったー！ I am divorced! 離婚しました！！" Have you?

すげ！MAN! Another BEAUTIFUL sunny morning in Tokyo!!

I am eating a banana for breakfast. Bananas are really good for you. They contain a lot of vitamin B6, vitamin C, and potassium. If you smoke, you should eat a banana once a day. (I don't recommend smoking though.)

India produces the most bananas in the world. Something like 15 percent of all bananas in the world comes from India. Usually bananas in Japan come from the Philippines, but American ones usually come from Mexico.

I like "monkey bananas" those are the little ones that look like fat fingers. They are a kinda (なんか） slimy, but I think they taste great!

Holly & Christmas! American & western tradition

This is holly (ヒイラギ):

We use this to decorate our homes for Christmas. It is good to use because in the winter, the leaves stay green and it has nice red berries. Often there are traces of white color too. Red, white, and green are the traditional colors of Christmas.

You can use holly in any way. Put it around candles, make a wreath for your door, or decorate a window with it. There are many things you can use it for.

Careful, the berries are a little toxic. If you eat them, you can get sick in your stomach. So be careful of it around dogs and young children as they look a little delicious to them.
