I love the fall - English Lesson - 英会話
The Fall Season

I love the fall. It is such a wonderful season. The air is crisp and fresh and the temperature is not too hot nor too cold. I can feel that things are changing. Not just the leaves or weather, but people change too.
In the fall, I like to go to farms, and look at the season's vegetables. I really like pumpkins. I enjoy making homemade pumpkin seeds. They are really easy to make, and they taste so good.

At home, there are many festivals to go and see. There are some beer festivals, art festivals, and just plain old autumn festivals. Every year, my family would visit the festivals. I was really happy when we did. I could get some really good candy apples. Some are the regular old red, but some are very unique. The unique candy apples might be caramel, chocolate, some with sprinkles, or some with faces. Honestly though, the same old red ones, I like the most.
So fall is a really nice season in America. I hope that someday you can be there then.
Questions
These questions are open. You can just think about the answers and then check to see if you understood/remembered correctly.
1) Why do I like the air during the fall season? How did I describe it?
2) Where are some of the places that I like to go to?
3) What changes did I talk about besides the weather?
4) What were the foods I mentioned that I like?
5) Many times I used the word "old." Does it really mean old? What did I mean?
英会話 - English - Tracker
Hanging out at 0101 Jam, I came across this funny hat. Any idea what is wrong?
Well, anyone know how to spell that big automobile that carries stuff? You know that big mack there on that hat?
That is a "Truck." Sooo that needs to be a "Trucker Ride" not "Tracker Ride!"
A tracker is someone who searches for you, and looks for something or someone. Like hunting. Watch out for that tracker!!
Culture Shockers, American in Japan 英会話
Ahhh, the weather is crummy today in Tokyo. It is rainy, and it cold. The past couple of days were really nice.
Here is my culture shock story:
One strange thing I remember about Japan, my first time here, was seeing so many older men with suits and cellphones.
I came to Japan several years ago and at that time in America cell phones were not yet so popular. In America, if you saw older people wearing a suit with a cellphone, one might think he is a gangster, mafia, or maybe a drug dealer!
So, I was quite surprised when I saw many older men in suits and gabbing on their cells, wearing expensive watches and jewelry. I thought everyone was in the mob!
