English and Shopping - 英語ショッピング!! 楽しい!!
I love shopping and I know some of you are shopaholics(people who love shopping), so lets talk about how to go shopping in English.
Staff: Hi, can I help you with anything?
Shoper: Yes, I am looking for something for my friend for Christmas.
Staff: Do you have anything in mind?
Shopper: Well, I am looking for something that is red.
Staff: OK, right over here...
Shopper: This is nice, do you have this in medium?
Staff: Yes, we do. Right here.
Shopper: Thanks a bunch!
What do you think about that? (どうですか?)
It is difficult to say exactly what you want sometimes. So saying "I am looking for something..." is easy way to say what you want.
"have in mind" is like ~のことを考えている
Bunch means たくさん
Also:
"Thanks a ton!"
"Thanks so much."
"Thanks a lot."
"Thanks a million."
Thanks a bunch for stopping by! Have a great day!

英語の勉強!! Fight!!
I was taking a ride with my best friend... on the new "Smile"train today.
If that name isn't strange, I saw a rather 'violent' sign that said "Fight."
This is also a little weird, I mean, I don't want to fight anyone.
I know, it is Japanese English, but still weird to us native English speakers.
In America, we also say something violent like:
Knock em dead!
Kick their asses!
Clobber them!
Destroy them!
But those above are a little violent too.
To say something a little more civilized, say:
Win!
Go for it!
Score!
Baseball: Knock it out of the park, Ichiro!
Basketball: Slammit!
Those are just a few!
Thanks for stopping by!

英語の勉強です!Get the you!!
THIS IS SO FUNNY!!! (笑) It is hard to explain why, but just the way it says in English "Get the you." and "You wanna be." is so funny!
First, I already am me! So, I don't really need their services. Haha! (笑) Do you?
Second, "wanna" is slang for "want to", and should NOT be used on a sign for the public. Also, "the" NEVER goes in front of "you."
Some examples of using wanna are:
"I wanna go."
"You you wanna eat?"
For he, she, it, and names you can't use "wanna," you have to use "wansta."
Examples:
"She wansta go."
"Jim wansta eat something."
The sign should say:
"Your future is yours. Be the person, you want to be."
See you later,

The Sun is OUT! English in Town!
Awesome(すごい) sunshine today! I love a good sunny day when the weather isn't too cold and isn't too hot! Nice.(いいね~)
Everyone knows that the sun is a star, right? You also knew that it is made of mostly hydrogen, didn't you? But I bet you didn't know that "Sol" is latin for "Sun," did you?
Although the sun is so close, and scientists (科学者) study it all the time, we still know very little about it!
Hope you enjoyed the lesson! Have a SUPER day!

Native English Study! Right Here! Trashy English
Boy oh boy! I was quite a busy little bee today!
I thought I wasn't gonna be so busy, but I had people asking me to do so many things. Even just now, after I got home from work, my landlord/大家 asked me to help him with the trash!!! No biggie!(大きな問題ではない!), I was happy to.
Speaking of trash. Here are a few examples with trash.
I'm trashed. 酔っぱらいyo!
Don't trash the place. めちゃくちゃにしないで。
What a piece of trash. 役立たずのがらくた!
She's a piece of trash. くだらない人。
Careful! Don't use some of those at the wrong time, OK?
Speaking of trash....
It is estimated that America produces over 200 million tons of trash per year!
At the consumption level of the average American, at least four more planets will be needed.
By comparison, the average North American consumes ten times the average person living in China.
