The firstfruits ー 初穂 ー

出エジプト４章

22）そのとき、あなたはパロに言わなければならない。主はこう言われる。『イスラエルはわたしの子、わたしの初子である。

23）そこでわたしはあなたに言う。わたしが拒んで彼を行かせないなら、見よ、わたしはあなたの子、あなたの初子を殺す。』

エレミヤ書２章３節

イスラエルは主の聖なるもの、その収穫の初穂であった。これを食らう者はだれでも罪に定められ、わざわいをこうむったものだ。―主の御告げ。―

ヘブル12章

23）また、天に登録されている長子たちの教会、万民の審判者である神、全うされた義人たちの霊、

24）さらに、新しい契約の仲介者イエス、それに、アベルの血よりもすぐれたことを語る注ぎかけの血に近づいています。

25）語っておられる方を拒まないように注意しなさい。なぜなら、地上においても、警告を与えた方を拒んだ彼らが処罰を免れることができなかったとすれば、まして天から語っておられる方に背を向ける私たち（信者）が、処罰を免れることができないのは当然ではありませんか。

26）あのときは、その声が地を揺り動かしましたが、このたびは約束をもって、こう言われます。「わたしは、もう一度、地だけでなく、天も揺り動かします。」

27）この「もう一度」ということばは、決して揺り動かされることのないもの（神の御国）が残るために、すべての造られた、揺り動かされるものが取り除かれることを示しています。

28）こういうわけで、私たちは揺り動かされない御国（※）を受けているのですから、感謝しようではありませんか。こうして私たちは、慎みと恐れとをもって、神に喜ばれるように奉仕をすることができるのです。

29）私たちの神は焼き尽くす火です。

ダニエル書２章44節

この王たちの時代（おそらく大艱難期）に、天の神は一つの国を起こされます。その国は永遠に滅ぼされることがなく、その国は他の民に渡されず、かえってこれらの国々をことごとく打ち砕いて、絶滅してしまいます。しかし、この国は永遠に立ち続けます。

ヤコブ１章18節

父はみこころのままに、真理のことばをもって私たちをお生みになりました。私たちを、いわば被造物の初穂にするためなのです。

14：１）また私は見た。見よ。小羊がシオンの山の上に立っていた。また小羊とともに十四万四千人の人たちがいて、その額には小羊の名と、小羊の父の名とがしるしてあった。

２）私は天からの声を聞いた。大水の音のようで、また、激しい雷鳴のようであった。また、私の聞いたその声は、立琴をひく人々が立琴をかき鳴らしている音のようでもあった。

３）彼らは、御座の前と、四つの生き物および長老たちの前とで、新しい歌を歌った。しかし、地上から贖われた十四万四千人のほかには、だれもこの歌を学ぶことができなかった。

４）彼らは女によって汚されたことのない人々である。彼らは童貞なのである。彼らは、小羊が行く所には、どこにでもついて行く。彼らは、神および小羊にささげられた初穂として、人々の中から贖われたのである。

５：９）彼らは、新しい歌を歌って言った。「あなたは、巻き物を受け取って、その封印を解くのにふさわしい方です。あなたは、ほふられて、その血により、あらゆる部族、国語、民族、国民の中から、神のために人々を贖い、

10）私たちの神のために、この人々を王国とし、祭司とされました。彼らは地上を治めるのです。」

22)And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn:

23)And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn.

Jeremiah 2:3

Israel was holiness unto the LORD, and the firstfruits of his increase: all that devour him shall offend; evil shall come upon them, saith the LORD.

Hebrews 12 (ESV)

23)And to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righeous made perfect,

24)And to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

25)See that you do not refuse him who is speaking. For if they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we (believers) escape if we reject him who warns from heaven.

26)At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, "Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens."

27)This phrase, "Yet once more," indicates the removal of things that are shaken-that is, things that have been made-in order that the things that cannot be shaken may remain (Kingdom of God).

28)Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken（※）, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe,

29)For our God is a consuming fire.

Daniel 2:44

And in the days of those kings (probably during the Great Tribulation) the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever.

James 1:18

Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

Revelation

14:1)Then I looked, and behold, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads.

2)And I heard a voice from heaven like the roar of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder. The voice  I heard was like the sound of harpists playing on their harps.

3)And they were singing a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and before the elders.No one could learn that song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth.

4)It is these who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are virgins. It is these who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. Therse have been redeemed from mankind as firstfruits for God and the Lamb.

5:9)And they sang a new song, saying, "Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and languate and people and nation,

10)And you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth."

ノアに見る信仰による義 ― Righteousness by faith in Noah ―

６：９）これはノアの歴史である。ノアは、正しい人であって、その時代にあっても、全き人であった。ノアは神とともに歩んだ。

7:1)主はノアに仰せられた。「あなたとあなたの全家族とは、箱舟に入りなさい。あなたがこの時代にあって、わたしの前に正しいのを、わたしが見たからである。

第二ペテロ３章

６）当時の世界は、その水により、洪水におおわれて滅びました。

７）しかし、今の天と地は、同じみことばによって、火に焼かれるためにとっておかれ、不敬虔な者どものさばきと滅びとの日まで、保たれているのです。

第一ペテロ３章20節

昔、ノアの時代に、箱舟が造られていた間、神が忍耐して待っておられた時に、従わなかった霊たちのことです。わずか八人の人々が、この箱舟の中で、水を通って救われたのです。

第二ペテロ２章

５）また、昔の世界を赦さず、義を宣べ伝えたノアたち八人の者を保護し、不敬虔な世界に洪水を起こされました。

６）また、ソドムとゴモラの町を破滅に定めて灰にし、以後の不敬虔な者へのみせしめとされました。

７）また、無節操な者たちの好色なふるまいによって悩まされていた義人ロトを救い出されました。

８）というのは、この義人は、彼らの間に住んでいましたが、不法な行ないを見聞きして、日々その正しい心を痛めていたからです。

９）これらのことでわかるように、主は、敬虔な者たちを誘惑から　救い出し、不義な者どもを、さばきの日まで、懲罰のもとに置くことを心得ておられるのです。

10）汚れた情欲を燃やし、肉に従って歩み、権威を侮る者たちに対しては、特にそうなのです。彼らは、大胆不敵な、尊大な者たちで、栄誉ある人たちをそしって、恐れるところがありません。

ヘブル11章７節

信仰によって、ノアは、まだ見ていない事がらについて神から警告を受けたとき、恐れかしこんで、その家族の救いのために箱舟を造り、その箱舟によって、世の罪を定め、信仰による義を相続する者となりました。

エゼキエル書14章

14）たとい、そこに、ノアとダニエルとヨブの、これら三人の者がいても、彼らは自分たちの義によって自分たちのいのちを救い出すだけだ。―神である主の御告げ。―

20）たとい、そこに、ノアとダニエルとヨブがいても、―わたしは生きている。神である主の御告げ。―　彼らは決して息子も娘も救い出すことができない。彼らは自分たちの義によって自分たちのいのちを救い出すだけだ。

ローマ４章13節

というのは、世界の相続人となるという約束が、アブラハムに、あるいはまた、その子孫に与えられたのは、律法によってではなく、信仰の義によったからです。

ガラテヤ２章

16）しかし、人は律法の行ないによって義と認められず、ただキリスト・イエスを信じる信仰によって義と認められる、ということを知ったからこそ、私たちもキリスト・イエスを信じたのです。これは、律法の行いによってではなく、キリストを信じる信仰によって義と認められるためです。なぜなら、律法の行いによって義と認められる者は、ひとりもいないからです。

17）しかし、もし私たちが、キリストにあって義と認められることを求めながら、私たち自身も罪人であることがわかるのなら、キリストは罪の助成者なのでしょうか。そんなことは絶対にありえないことです。

18）けれども、もし私が前に打ちこわしたものをもう一度建てる（救われた後に罪の道に再び戻ってしまう）なら、私は自分自身を違反者にしてしまうのです。

5)If he did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a herald of righteousness, with seven others, when he brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly;

6)If by turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to ashes he condemned them to extinction, making them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly;

7)And if he rescued righteous Lot, greatly distressed by the sensual conduct of the wicked

8)(For as that righteous man lived among them day after day, he was tormenting his righteous soul over their lawless deeds that he saw and head);

9)Then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment,

10)And especially those who indulge in the lust of defiling passion and despise authority. Bold and wilful, they do not tremble as they blaspheme the glorious ones.

Hebrews 11:7

By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household. By this he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.

Eaekiel 14

14)Even if these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they would deliver but their own lives by their righteousness, declares the LORD GOD.

20)Even if Noah, Daniel, and Job were in it, as I live, declares the Lord GOD, they would deliver neither son nor daughter. They would deliver but their own lives by their righteousness.

Romans 4:13

For the promise to Abraham and his offspring that he would be heir of the world did not come through the law but through the righteousness of faith.

Galatians 2

16)Yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.

17)But if, in our endeavor to be justified in Christ, we too were found to be sinners, is Christ then a servant of sin? Certainly not!

18)For if I rebuild what I tore down (If a person is saved and then falls back into the ways of sin), I prove myself to be a transgressor.

イザヤ書

９：６）ひとりのみどりごが、私たちのために生まれる。ひとりの男の子が、私たちに与えられる。主権はその肩にあり、その名は「不思議な助言者、力ある神、永遠の父、平和の君」と呼ばれる。

７）その主権は増し加わり、その平和は限りなく、ダビデの王座に着いて、その王国を治め、さばきと正義によってこれを堅く立て、これをささえる。今より、とこしえまで。万軍の主の熱心がこれを成し遂げる。

41：14）恐れるな。虫けらのヤコブ、イスラエルの人々。わたしはあなたを助ける。―主の御告げ。―　あなたを贖う者はイスラエルの聖なる者。

63：16）まことに、あなたはわたしたちの父です。たとい、アブラハムが私たちを知らず、イスラエルが私たちを認めなくても、主よ、あなたは、私たちの父です。あなたの御名は、とこしえから私たちの贖い主です。

7)Of the increase of his goverment and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

ヘブル２章

17）そういうわけで、神のことについて、あわれみ深い、忠実な大祭司となるため、主はすべての点で兄弟たちと同じようにならなければなりませんでした。それは民の罪のために、なだめがなされるためなのです。

18）主は、ご自身が試みを受けて苦しまれたので、試みられている者たちを助けることがおできになるのです。

10)For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

第一ヨハネ３章

１）私たちが神の子どもと呼ばれるために、―事実、いま私たちは神の子どもです。―御父はどんなにすばらしい愛を与えてくださったことでしょう。世が私たちを知らないのは、御父を知らないからです。

２）愛する者たち、私たちは、今すでに神の子どもです。後の状態はまだ明らかにされていません。しかし、キリストが現われたなら、私たちはキリストに似たものとなることがわかっています。なぜならそのとき、私たちはキリストのありのままの姿を見るからです。

３）キリストに対するこの望みをいだく者はみな、キリストが清くあられるように、自分を清くします。

４）罪を犯している者はみな、不法を行なっているのです。罪とは律法に逆らうことなのです。

５）キリストが現われたのは罪を取り除くためであったことを、あなたがたは知っています。キリストには何の罪もありません。

６）だれでもキリストのうちにとどまる者は、罪のうちを歩みません。罪のうちを歩む者はだれも、キリストを見てもいないし、知ってもいないのです。

1John 3

1)Behole, what manner of love the father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

2)Behold, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

3)And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

エゼキエル書７章

３）今、あなたに終わりが来た。私の怒りをあなたのうちに送り、あなたの行いにしたがって、あなたをさばき、あなたのすべての忌みきらうべきわざに報いをする。

４）わたしはあなたを惜しまず、あわれまない。わたしがあなたの行いに仕返しをし、あなたのうちの忌みきらうべきわざをあらわにするとき、あなたがたは、わたしが主であることを知ろう。』」

14）ラッパが吹き鳴らされ(※）、みなの準備ができても、だれも戦いに行かない。わたしの燃える怒りがそのすべての群集にふりかかるからだ。

15）外には剣、内には疫病とききんがあり、野にいる者は剣に死に、町にいる者はききんと疫病に滅ぼし尽くされる。

16）それをのがれた者が逃げて、山々に行っても、彼らは谷間の鳩のようになって、みな自分の不義のために泣き悲しむ。

17）彼らはみな気力を失い、彼らのひざもみな震える。

18）彼らは荒布を身にまとい、恐怖に包まれ、彼らはみな恥じて顔を赤くし、彼らの頭はみなそられてしまう。

19）彼らは銀を道ばたに投げ捨て、彼らの金は汚物のようになる。銀も金も、主の激しい怒りの日に彼らを救い出すことはできない。それらは、彼らの飢えを飽き足らせることも、彼らの肌を満たすこともできない。それらが彼らを不義に引き込んだからだ。

20）彼らはこれを、美しい飾り物として誇り、これで彼らの忌みきらうべきもの、忌むべきものの像を造った。それで、わたしはそれを、かれらにとって汚物とする。

21）わたしはそれを他国人の手に獲物として渡し、この国の悪者どもに分捕り者として渡し、それを汚させる。

22）わたしは彼らから顔をそむけ、わたしの聖なる所を汚させる。強盗はそこに入り込み、そこを汚そう。

23）鎖を作れ。この国は虐殺に満ち、この町は暴虐に満ちているからだ。

24）わたしは異邦の民の中で最も悪いどもを来させて、彼らの家々を占領させ、有力者たちの高ぶりをくじき、彼らの聖所を汚させよう。

25）苦悩がやって来る。彼らは平和を求めるが、それはない。

26）災難の上に災難が来、うわさがうわさを生み、彼らは預言者に幻を求めるようになる。祭司は律法を失い、長老はさとしを失う。

27）王は喪に服し、君主は恐れにつつまれ、民の手はわななく。わたしが彼らの行いにしたがって、彼らに報い、彼らのやり方にしたがって彼らに報い、彼らのやり方にしたがって彼らをさばくとき、彼らは、わたしが主であることを知ろう。」

また、あなたがたの国で、あなたがたを襲う侵略者との戦いに出る場合は、ラッパを短く吹き鳴らす。あなたがたの神、主の前に覚えられ、あなたがたの敵から救われるためである。

ヨエル書２章１節

シオンで角笛を吹き鳴らし、わたしの聖なる山でときの声をあげよ。この地に住むすべての者は、わななけ。主の日が来るからだ。その日は近い。

第一コリント15章

51）聞きなさい。私はあなたがたに奥義を告げましょう。私たちはみなが眠ってしまうのではなく、みな変えられるのです。

52）終わりのラッパとともに、一瞬のうちにです。ラッパがなると、死者は朽ちないものによみがえり、私たちは帰られるのです。

第一テサロニケ４章

16）主は、号令と、御使いのかしらの声と、神のラッパの響きのうちに、ご自身天から下って来られます。それからキリストにある死者が、まず初めによみがえり、

17）次に、生き残っている私たちが、たちまち彼らといっしょに雲の中に一挙に引き上げられ、空中で主と会うのです。このようにして、私たちは、いつまでも主とともにいることになります。

Ezekiel 7 (ESV)

1)The word of the LORD came to me:

2)And you, O son of man, thus says the Lord GOD to the land of Israel: An end! The end has come upon the four corners of the land.

3)Now the end is upon you, and I will send my anger upon you; I will judge you according to your ways, and I will punish you for all your abominations.

4)And my eye will not spare you, nor will I have pity, but I will punish you for your ways, while your abominations are in your midst. Then you will know that I am the LORD.

14)They have blown the trumpet(※） and made everything  ready, but none goes to battle, for my wrath is upon all their multitude.

15)The sword is withour; pestilence and famine are within. He who is in the field dies by the sword, and him who is in the city famine and pestilance devour.

16)And if any survivors escape, they will be on the mountains, like doves of the valleys, all of them moaning, each one over his iniquity.

17)All hands are feeble, and all knees turn to water.

18)They put on sackloth, and horror covers them. Shaml ornament e is on all faces, and baldness on all their heads.

19)They cast their silver into the streets, and their gold is like an unclean thing. Their silver and gold are not able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD.

20)His beautiful ornament they used for pride, and they made their abominable images and their detestable things of it. Therefore I make it an unclean thing to them.

21)And I will give it into the hands of foreigners for prey, and to the wicked of the earth for spoil, and they shall profane it.

22)I will turn my face from them, and they shall profane my treasured place. Robbers shall enter and profane it.

23)Forge a chain! For the land is full of bloody crimes and the city is full of violence.

24)I will bring the worst of the nations to take possession of their houses. I will put an end to the pride of the strong, and their holy places shall be profaned.

25)When anguish comes, they will seek peace, but there shall be none.

26)Disaster comes upon disaster; rumor follows rumor. They seek a vision from the prophet, while the law perishes from the priest and cunsel from the elders.

27)The king mourns, the prince is wrapped in despair, and the hands of the people of the land are paralyzed by terror. According to their way I will do to them, and accordint to their judgments I will judge them, and they shall know that I am the LORD.

And when you go to war in your land against the adversary who oppresses you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets, that you may be remembered before the LORD your God, and you shall be saved from your enemies.

Joel 2:1

Blow a trumpet in Zion; sound an alarm on my holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the day of the LORD is coming; it is near.

1Corrintians 15

51)Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

52)In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet, for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.

1Thessalonians 4

16)For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.

17)Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.

イザヤ書29章

２）わたしはアリエル(エルサレム）をしいたげるので、そこにはうめきと嘆きが起こり、そこはわたしにとっては祭壇の炉のようになる。

３）わたしは、あなたの回りに陣を敷き、あなたを前哨部隊で囲み、あなたに対して塁を築く。

４）あなたは倒れて、地の中から語りかけるが、あなたの言うことは、ちりで打ち消される。あなたが地の中から出す声は、死人の声のようになり、あなたの言うことは、ちりの中からのささやきのようになる。

５）しかし、あなたの敵の群れ（他国人）も、細かいほこりのようになり、横暴な者の群れは、吹き飛ぶもみがらのようになる。しかも、それはにわかに、急に起こる。

６）万軍の主は、雷と地震と大きな音をもって、つむじ風と暴風と焼き尽くす火の炎をもって、あなたを訪れる。

７）アリエル（エルサレム）に戦いをいどむすべての民の群れ、これを攻めて、これをしいたげる者たちはみな、夢のようになり、夜の幻のようになる。

８）飢えた者が、夢の中で食べ、目が覚めると、その腹はからであるように、乾いている者が、夢の中で飲み、目が覚めると、なんとも疲れて、のどが干からびているように、シオンの山に戦いをいどむすべての民の群れも、そのようになる。

マタイ24章

29）だが、これらの日の苦難に続いてすぐに、太陽は暗くなり、月は光を放たず、星は天から落ち、天の万象は揺り動かされます。

21:25）そして、日と月と星には、前兆が現われ、地上では、諸国の民が、海と波が荒れどよめくために不安に陥って悩み、

26）人々は、その住むすべての所を襲おうとしていることを予想して、恐ろしさのあまり気を失います。天の万象が揺り動かされるからです。

27）そのとき、人々は、人の子が力と輝かしい栄光を帯びて雲に乗って来るのを見るのです。

黙示録

14：14）また、私は見た。見よ。白い雲が起こり、その雲に人の子のような方が、乗っておられた。頭には金の冠をかぶり、手には鋭いかまを持っておられた。

15）すると、もうひとりの御使いが聖所から出て来て、雲に乗っておられる方に向かって大声で叫んだ。「かまを入れて刈り取ってください。地の穀物は実ったので、取り入れる時が来ましたから。

17）また、もうひとりの御使いが、天の聖所から出て来たが、この御使いも、鋭いかまを持っていた。

18）すると、火を支配する権威を持ったもうひとりの御使いが、祭壇から出て来て、鋭いかまをもつ御使いに大声で言った。「その鋭いかまを入れ、地のぶどうのふさを刈り集めよ。ぶどうはすでに熟しているのだから。」

19）そこで御使いは地にかまを入れ、地のぶどうを刈り集めて、神の激しい怒りの大きな酒ぶねに投げ入れた。

20）その酒ぶねは都の外で踏まれたが、血は、その酒ぶねから流れ出て、馬のくつわに届くほどになり、千六百スダディオンに広がった。

６：12）私は見た。子羊が第六の封印を解いたとき、大きな地震が起こった。そして、太陽は毛の荒布のように黒くなり、月の全面が血のようになった。

13）そして天の星が地上に落ちた。それは、いちじくが、大風に揺られて、青い実を振り落とすようであった。

14）天は、巻き物が巻かれるように消えてなくなり、すべての山や島がその場所から移された。

15）地上の王、高官、千人隊長、金持ち、勇者、あらゆる奴隷と自由人が、ほら穴と山の岩間に隠れ、

16）山や岩に向かってこう言った。「私たちの上に倒れかかって、御座にある方の御顔と子羊の怒りとから、私たちをかくまってくれ。

17）御怒りの大いなる日が来たのだ。だれがそれに耐えられよう。」

11：３）それから、わたしがわたしの二人の証人に許すと、彼らは荒布を着て千二百六十日の間預言する。」

４）彼らは全地の主の御前にある二本のオリーブの木、また二つの燭台である。

５）彼らに害を加えようとするものがあれば、火が彼らの口から出て、敵を滅ぼし尽くす。(※１）彼らに害を加えようとする者があれば、必ずこのように殺される。

６）この人たちは、預言をしている期間は雨が降らないように天を閉じる力を持っており、また、水を血に変え、そのうえ、思うままに、何度でも、あらゆる災害をもって地を打つ力を持っている。

７）そして彼らがあかしを終えると、底知れぬ所から上って来る獣が、彼らと戦って勝ち、彼らを殺す。

８）彼らの死体は、霊的な理解ではソドムやエジプトと呼ばれる大きな都の大通りにさらされる。彼らの主もその都で十字架につけられたのである。

９）もろもろの民族、部族、国語、国民に属する人々が、三日半の間、彼らの死体をながめていて、その死体を墓に納めることを許さない。

10）また地に住む人々は、彼らのことで喜び祝って、互いに贈り物を贈り合う。それは、このふたりの預言者が、地に住む人々を苦しめたからである。

11）しかし、三日半の後、神から出たいのちの息が、彼らにはいり、彼らが足で立ち上がったので、それを見ていた人々は非常な恐怖に襲われた。

12）そのときふたりは、天から大きな声がして、「ここに上れ。」と言うのを聞いた。そこで、彼らは雲に乗って天に上った。(※２）彼らの敵はそれを見た。

13）そのとき、大地震が起こって、都の十分の一が倒れた。この地震のため七千人が死に、生き残った人々は、恐怖に満たされ、天の神をあがめた。

14）第二のわざわいは過ぎ去った。見よ。第三のわざわいがすぐに来る。

15）第七の御使いがラッパを吹き鳴らした。すると、天に大きな声声が起こって言った。「この世の国は私たちの主およびそのキリストのものとなった。主は永遠に支配される。

16）それから、神の御前で自分たちの座に着いている二十四人の長老たちも、地にひれ伏し、神を礼拝して、

17）言った。「万物の支配者、常にいまし、昔います神である主。あなたが、その偉大な力を働かせて、王となられたことを感謝します。

18）諸国の民は怒りました。しかし、あなたの御怒りの日が来ました。死者のさばかれる時、あなたのしもべである預言者たち、聖徒たち、また小さい者も大きい者もすべてあなたの御名を恐れかしこむ者たちに報いの与えられる時、地を滅ぼす者どもの滅ぼされる時です。

19）それから、天にある、神の神殿が開かれた。神殿の中に、契約の箱が見えた。また、いなずま、声、雷鳴、地震が起こり、大きな雹が降った。

27）見よ。主の御名が遠くから来る。その怒りは燃え、その燃え上がることはものすごく、くちびるは憤りで満ち、舌は焼き尽くす火のようだ。

28）その息は、ほとばしって、首に達するあふれる流れのようだ。破滅のふるいで国々をふるい、迷い出させる手綱を、国々の民のあごにかける。

エレミヤ書5章14節

それゆえ、万軍の神、主は、こう仰せられる。「あなたがたが、このようなことを言ったので、見よ、わたしは、あなたの口にあるわたしのことばを火とし、この民をたきぎとする。火は彼らを焼き尽くす。

エノクは神とともに歩んだ。神が彼を取られたので、彼はいなくなった。

第二列王記２章11節

こうして、彼らがなお進みながら話していると、なんと、一台の火の戦車と火の馬とが現れ、このふたりの間を分け隔て、エリヤは、たつまきに乗って天へ上って行った。

使徒１章９節

こう言ってから、イエスは彼らが見ている間に上げられ、雲に包まれて、見えなくなられた。

二本のオリーブの木（イスラエルとユダの家）、また二つの燭台（二つの教会）である二人の証人の出来事は、艱難時代の前半（三年半）に同時進行することが御言葉から読み取れます。

しかしながら、この期間の間、この二人の証人が怪獣のように火を吹きながら歩き回るとは考えられません。むしろ、三年半の間、この世の人々に燃えるような真理の御言葉を語り続けるということなのでしょう。

― The second coming as Judge ―

Isaiah 29 (ESV)

1)Ah, Ariel (Jerusalem), Ariel (Jerusalem), the city where David encamped! Add year to year; let the feasts run their round.

2)Yet I will distress Ariel (Jerusalem), and there shall be moaning and lamentation, and she shall be to me like an Ariel.

3)And I will encamp against you all around, and will besiege you with towers and I will raise siegeworks against you.

4)And you will be broutht low; from the earth you shall speak, and from the dust your speech will be bowed down; your voive shall come from the ground like the voice of a ghost, and from the dust your speech shall whisper.

5)But the multitude of your foreign foes shall be like small dust, and the multitude of the ruthless like passing chaff. And in an instant, suddenly,

6)You will be visited by the LORD of hosts with thunder and with earthquake and great noise, with whirlwind and tempest, and the flame of a devouring fire.

7)And the multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel (Jerusalem), all that fight against her and her stronghold and distress her, shall be like a dream, a vision of the night.

8)As when a hungry man dreams, and behold, he is eating, and awakes with his hunger not satisfied, or as when a thirsty man dreams, and behold, he is drinking, and awakes faint, with his thirst not quenched, so shall the multitude of all the nations be that fight against Mount Zion.

Matthew 24

29)Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

30)Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31)And he will send out his angels of heaven with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Luke

18:7)And will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long over them?

8)I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Neverthless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?

21:25)And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves,

26)People fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world. For the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

27)And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

28)Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.

Revelation

14:14)Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and seated on the cloud one like a son of man, with a golden crown on his head, and a sharp sickle in his hand.

15)And another angel came out of the temple, calling with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, "Put in your sickle, and reap, for the hour to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is fully ripe."

16)So he who sat on the cloud swung his sickle across the earth, and the earth was reaped.

17)Then another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle.

18)And another angel came out from the altar, the angel who has authority over the fire, and he called with a loud voice to the one who had the sharp sickle, "Put in your sickle and gather the clusters from the vine of the earth, for its grapes are ripe."

19)So the angel swung his sickle across the earth and gathered the grape harvest of the earth and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

20)And the winepress was trodden outside the city, and blood flowed from the winepress, as high as a horse's bridle, for 1,600 stadia.

6:12)When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthqake, and the sun became black as sackloth, the full moon became like blood,

13)And the stars of the sky fell to the earth as the fig tree sheds its winter fruit when shaken by a gale.

14)The sky vanished like a scroll that is being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.

15)Then the kings of the earth and the great ones and the generals and the rich and the powerful, and everyone,slave and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains,

16)Calling to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb,

17)For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?

11:2)but do not measure the court out side the temple; leave that out, for it is given over to the nations, and they will trample the holy city for forty-two months.

3)And I will grant authority to my two witness, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackloth."

4)These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth.

5)And if anyone would harm them, fire pours from their mouth and consumes their foes.(※1） If anyone would harm them, this is how he is doomed to be killed.

6)They have the power to shut the sky, that no rain may fall during the days of their prophesying, and they have power over the waiers ti turn them into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague, as often as they desire.

7)And when they have finished their testimony, the beast that rises from the bottemless pit will make war on them and conquer them and kill them,

8)And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city that symbolically is called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord was crucified.

9)For three and a half days some from the people and tribes and languages and nations will gaze at their dead bodies and refuse to let them be placed in a tomb,

10)And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them and make merry and exchange presents, because these two prophets had been a torment to those who dwell on the earth.

11)But after the three and a half days a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood up on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them.

12)Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, "Come up here!" And they went up to heaven in a cloud(※2）, and their enemies watched them.

13)And at that hour there was a great earthquake, and a  tenth of the city fell. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.

14)The second woe has passed; behold, the third woe is soon to come.

15)Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voice in heaven, saying, "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever."

16)And the twenty-four elders who sit on their thrones before God fell on their faces and worshiped God.

17)Saying, "We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty, who is and who was, for you have taken your great power and begun to reign.

18)The nations raged, but your wrath came, and the time for the dead to be judged, and for rewarding your servants, the prophets and saints, and those who fear your name, both small and great, and for destroying the destroyers of the earth."

19)Then God's temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and heavy hail.

27)Behold, the name of the LORD comes from afar, burning with his anger, and in thick rising smoke; his lips are full of fury,

28)His breath is like an overflowing stream that reaches up to the neck; to sift the nations with the sieve of destruction, and to place on the jaws of the peoples a bridle that leads astrsy.

Jeremiah 5:14

Therefore thus says the LORD, the God of hosts: "Because you have spoken this word, behold, I am making my words in you mouth a fire, and this people wood, and the fire shall consume them.

※2)Genesis 5:24

Enoch walked with God, and he was not, for God took him.

2 Kings 2:11

And as they still went on and talked, behold, chariots of fire and horses of fire separated the two of them. And Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

Acts 1:9

And when he had said these things, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight.

We can read from the Word of God that the events of the Two Witnesses, the Two Olive Trees (the House of Israel and the House of Judah) and the Two Candlestands (the Two Churches), would take place simultaneously during the first half of the Tribulation Period (three and a half years).

However, I don't think these two witnesses walking around blowing fire like monsters during this period time. Rather, I guess this means that they will keep speaking the fiery Word of truth to the people of this world for three and a half years.
