意味が違う ー Defferent meanings...

今朝、いつものように主人と聖書を読む時間を持っていた時のこと。
This morning, I was having my usual Bible reading time with my husband.

今日読んだ箇所は、創世記47章から49章にかけてでした。
The passage we read today was Genesis 47-49.

主人はNIVUKの英語の聖書、私は日本語の新改訳聖書を読んでいます。
My husband is reading from the NIVUK English Bible and I am reading from the New Revised Version in Japanese.

読みながら、ヤコブが彼の子どもたちについて預言して語った49章についての話になりました。
As we were reading we talked about chapter 49 where Jacob prophesied and spoke about his children.

私が主人に、この部分はイスラエルの12部族に対する終末預言だと言ったところ、主人は聖書にそんな風には書いていないと言うではありませんか。
I said to my husband that this verse is an apocalyptic prophecy for the 12 tribes of Israel, and he said that the Bible doesn't say that.

しかし、私の日本語の聖書にはちゃんと「終わりの日に起こること」と記されています。
But in my Japanese Bible, it says "what will happen in the last days".

そこで、確認すべく私も持っているNIVUKの聖書を開いて見てみたら、「終わりの日」ではなく「これから先の日」とあいまいな言い方になっていたのです。
When I opened my NIVUK Bible to check, I found that it was ambiguously worded "in the days to come" rather than "in the last days".

そして、これだけでは真実が見えてこないと思い、私達は他のバージョンの聖書も幾つか調べてみる事にしました。

We decided to check out some other versions of the Bible to see if that was the truth.

以下にその気になった箇所を幾つかの違うバージョンの聖書から載せます。

Here are some of the passages from different versions of the Bible that caught my attention.

創世記49章１節

Genesis 49:1

ヤコブはその子らを呼び寄せて言った。「集まりなさい。私は終わりの日に、あなたがたに起こることを告げよう。

And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days.

このように、現代、翻訳されている聖書の中には、本来の意味からかけ離れた意味に訳されてしまっている内容があります。

This is why some modern translations of the Bible are so far removed from the original meaning.

またもう一つ、この章で主人が特に気になった部分があります。

There is another part of this chapter which particularly interested my husband.

それは、14節のイッサカルについての御言葉です。

It is the words about Issachar in verse 14.

14）イッサカルはたくましいろばで、彼は二つの鞍袋の間に伏す。

たくましいろば＝a strong ass＝a donkey strong＝a large-boned ass＝a strong donkey

痩せこけたろば＝a rawboned donkey=a scrawny donkey

インターナショナルバージョン（NIV)ではもともとの意味と真逆の訳がなされています。

In the international version, the translation is the exact opposite of the original meaning.

たくましいろばのはずが、NIVでは痩せこけたろばに摩り替えられています。

The word for a strong ass is replaced by the word for a rawboned donkey in the NIV.

このことからも分かるように、今日多くの言語に翻訳されている聖書の中には、本来の意味と全く違った意味に解釈されている物があるということです。

This shows that some of the translations of the Bible into many languages today have been interpreted in a way that is completely different from the original meaning.

従って、私達が聖書を読み進める時、吟味しながら聖霊様に導かれつつ読み進めて行かなければならないのです。

Therefore, when we read the Bible, we must examine it carefully and let the Holy Spirit guide us as we read.

深紅の衣を着た方 －The one who wears the crimson robe －

黙示録19章　Revelation 19 (NKJV)

11）また、私は開かれた天を見た。見よ。白い馬がいる。それに乗った方は、「忠実また真実。」と呼ばれる方であり、義をもってさばきをし、戦いをされる。

Not I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.

12）その目は燃える炎であり、その頭には多くの冠があって、ご自身のほかだれも知らない名が書かれていた。

His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself.

13）その方は血に染まった衣を着ていて、その名は「神のことば」と呼ばれた。

He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and his name is called The word of God.

14）天にある軍勢はまっ白な、きよい麻布を着て、白い馬に乗って彼につき従った。

And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.

15）この方の口からは諸国の民を打つために、鋭い剣が出ていた。この方は、鉄の杖をもって彼らを牧される。この方はまた、万物の支配者である神の激しい怒りの酒ぶねを踏まれる。

Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

裁き主として来られるキリストの純白の衣が、神に逆らった者達の血で深紅に染まっている。

The pure white robe of Christ, the coming Judge, is stained crimson with the blood of those who have defied God.

イザヤ書

34：５）天ではわたしの剣に血がしみ込んでいる。見よ。これがエドム(現イスラエルとヨルダンに分割されている地）の上に下り、わたしが聖絶すると定めた民の上に下るからだ。

For My sword shall be bathed in heaven; Indeed it shall come down on Edom (Land currently divided between Israel and Jordan), and on the people of My curse, for judgment.

６）主の剣は血で満ち、脂肪で肥えている。子羊ややぎの血と、雄羊の腎臓の脂肪で肥えている。主がボツラ（現在のヨルダンにあるタフィラとショーバックという小さな街の間に位置していた）でいけにえをほふり、エドムの地で大虐殺をされるからだ。

The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made overflowing with fatness, with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams. For the LORD has a sacrifice in Bozrah (It located between the small cities of Tafilah and Shoubak in present-day Jordan.), and a great slaughter in the land of Edom.

７）野は彼らとともに、雄牛は荒野とともに倒れる。彼らの地には血がしみ込み、その土は脂肪で肥える。

The wild oxen shall come down with them, and the young bulls with the mighty bulls; their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust saturated with fatness.

63：１）「エドムから来る者、ボツラから深紅の衣を着て来るこの者は、だれか。その着物には威光があり、大いなる力をもって進んで来るこの者は。」「正義を語り、救うに力強い者、それがわたしだ。」

Who is this who comes from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah, This One who is glorious in His apparel, traveling in the greatness of His strength?― "I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save."

２）「なぜ、あなたの着物は赤く、あなたの衣は酒ぶねを踏む者のようなのか。

Why is your apparel red, and your garments like one who treats in the winepress?

３）「わたしはひとりで酒ぶねを踏んだ。国々の民のうちに、わたしとことを共にする者はいなかった。わたしは怒って彼らを踏み、憤って彼らを踏みにじった。それで、彼らの着物をすっかり汚してしまった。

"I have trodden the winepress alone, and from the peoples no one was with Me. For I have trodden them in My anger, and trampled them in My fury; Their blood is sprinkled upon My garments, and I have stained all My robes.

４）私の心のうちに復讐の日があり、わたしの贖いの年が来たからだ。

For the day of vengeance in My heart. And the year of My redeemed has come.

５）わたしは見回したが、だれも助ける者はなく、いぶかったが、だれもささえる者はいなかった。そこで、わたしの腕で救いをもたらし、わたしの憤りを、わたしのささえとした。

I looked, but there was no one to help, and I wondered that there was no one to uphold; therefore My own arm brought salvation for Me; and My own fury, it sustained Me.

６）わたしは、怒って国々の民を踏みつけ、憤って彼らを踏み潰し、彼らの血のしたたりを地に流した。

I have trodden down the peoples in My anger, Made them drunk in My fury, and brought down their strength to the earth."

詩篇137篇

７）主よ。エルサレムの日に、「破壊せよ、破壊せよ、その基まで。」と言ったエドムの子らを思い出してください。

Remember, O LORD, against the sons of Edom the day of Jerusalem, who said, Raze it, raze it, to its very foundation!"

８）バビロン（バベル）の娘よ。荒れ果てた者（荒らす者）よ。おまえの私たちへの仕打ちを、おまえに仕返しする人は、なんと幸いなことよ。

O daughter of Babylon, who are to be destroyed, happy the one who repays you as you have served us!

９）おまえの子どもたちを捕らえ、岩に打ちつける人は、なんと幸いなことよ。

Happy the one who takes and dashes your littele ones against the rock!

ホセア書13章16節

サマリヤ（今日のパレスチナの中心地域）は自分の神に逆らったので、刑罰を受ける。彼らは剣に倒れ、幼子たちは八つ裂きに去れ、妊婦たちは切り裂かれる。

Samaria (current central areas of Palestine) is held guilty, they shall fall by the sword, their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child ripped open.

ルカ23章

27）大ぜいの民衆やイエスのことを嘆き悲しむ女たちの群れが、イエスのあとについて行った。

And a great multitude of the people followed Him, and women who also mourned and lamented Him.

28）しかしイエスは、女たちのほうに向いて、こう言われた。「エルサレムの娘たち。わたしのことで泣いてはいけない。むしろ自分自身と、自分の子どもたちのことのために泣きなさい。

But Jesus, turning to them, said, "Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children.

29）なぜなら人々が『不妊の女、子を生んだことのない胎、飲ませたことのない乳房は、幸いだ。』と言う日が来るのですから。

For indeed the days are coming in which they will say, 'Blessed are the barren, wombs that never bore, and breasts which never nursed!'

30）そのとき、人々は山に向かって、『われわれの上に倒れかかってくれ。』と言い、丘に向かって、『われわれをおおってくれ。』と言い始めます。

Then they will begin 'to say to the mountains, "Fall on us!" and to the hills, "Cover us!"'

31）彼らが生木にこのようなことをするなら、枯れ木には、いったい、何が起こるでしょう。」

For if they do these things in the green wood, what be done in the dry?"

夫のある国 －The country with a husband－

イザヤ書62章　Isaiah 62 (KJV)

１）シオンのために、わたしは黙っていない。エルサレムのために、黙り込まない。その義が朝日のように光を放ち、その救い（※

1）が、たいまつのように燃えるまでは。

For Zion's will I hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation（※1）thereof as a lamp that burneth.

２）そのとき、国々はあなたの義を見、すべての王があなたの栄光を見る。あなたは、主の口が名づける新しい名で呼ばれよう。

And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.

３）あなたは主の手にある輝かしい冠となり、あなたの神の手のひらにある王のかぶり物となる。

Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LOAD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

４）あなたはもう、「見捨てられている。」とは言われない。かえって、あなたは、「わたしの喜びは、彼女にある。」と呼ばれ、あなたの国は夫のある国（※2）と呼ばれよう。主の喜びがあなたにあり、あなたの国が夫を得るからである。

Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken: neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah（※2）: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.

５）若い男が若い女をめとるように、あなたの子らはあなたをめとり、花婿が花嫁を喜ぶように、あなたの神はあなたを喜ぶ。

For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.

６）エルサレムよ。わたしはあなたの城壁に見張り人を置いた。昼の間も、夜の間も、彼らは決して黙っていてはならない。主に覚えられている者たちよ。黙りこんではならない。

I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,

７）主がエルサレムを堅く立て、この地でエルサレムを栄誉とされるまで、黙っていてはならない。

And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

８）主は右の手と、力強い腕によって誓われた。「わたしは再びあなたの穀物を、あなたの敵に食物として与えない。あなたの労して作った新しいぶどう酒を、外国人に決して飲ませない。

The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:

９）取入れをした者がそれを食べて、主をほめたたえ、ぶどうを取り集めた者が、わたしの聖所の庭で、それを飲む。

But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.

10）通れ、通れ、城門を。この民の道を整え、盛り上げ、主を盛り上げ、大路を造れ。石を取り除いて国々の民の上に旗を揚げよ。

Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.

11）見よ。主は、地の果てまで聞こえるように仰せられた。「シオンの娘に言え。『見よ。あなたの救いが来る。見よ。その報いは主とともにあり、その報酬は主の前にある。』と。

Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

12）彼らは、聖なる民、主に贖われた者と呼ばれ、あなたは、尋ねもとめられる者、見捨てられない町と呼ばれる。」

And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Wought out, A city forsaken.

12）わたしに聞け。強情な者、正義から遠ざかっている者たちよ。

Hearken unto me, ye stouthearted, that are far from righteousness:

I bring near my righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not tarry: and I will place salvation in Zion for Israel glory.

Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:

15）また、あなたがたに、わたしの心にかなった牧者たちを与える。彼らは知識と分別をもってあなたがたを育てよう。

And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

16）その日、あなたがたは国中にふえて多くなるとき、―主の御告げ。―　彼らはもう、主の契約の箱についてなにも言わず、心にも留めず、思い出しもせず、再び作ろうともしない。（見よ。まことにわたしは新しい天と新しい地を創造する。先のことは思い出されず、心に上ることもない。イザヤ書63：17）

And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the LORD, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more.(O LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy mays, and hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants' sake, the tribes of thine inheritance. Isaiah 63:17)

17）そのとき、エルサレムは御座、主の名のあるエルサレムに集められ、二度と彼らはわるいかたくなな心のままに歩むことはない。

At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of theLORD, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.

18）その日、ユダの家はイスラエルの家といっしょになり、彼らはともどもに、北の国から、わたしが彼らの先祖に継がせた国に帰って来る。

In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.

詩篇48編 Psalm 48

１）主は大いなる方。大いにほめたたえられるべき方。その聖なる山、われらの神の都において。

Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.

２）高値の麗しさは、全地の喜び。北の端なるシオンの山は大王の都。

Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

イザヤ書14章 Isaiah 14

12）暁の子、明けの明星よ。どうしてあなたは天から落ちたのか。国々を打ち破った者よ。どうしてあなたは地に切り倒されたのか。

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

13）あなたは心の中で言った。『私は天に上ろう。神の星々のはるか上に私の王座を上げ、北の果てにある会合の山にすわろう。

For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

14）密雲の頂に上り、いと高き方のようになろう。』

I will ascend above the feights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

15）しかし、あなたはよみに落とされ、穴の底に落とされる。

Ye thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

神の御国の福音 －The Gospel of the Kingdom of God－

マタイ24章14節

この御国の福音は全世界に宣べ伝えられて、すべての国民にあかしされ、それから、終わりの日が来るのです。

Matthew 24:14 (ESV)

And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

ただ単に福音が宣べ伝えられるのではなく、神の御国についての良い知らせが全世界に宣べ伝えられて、それから終わりが来るということです。

It is not just spreading of the gospel, but the spreading of the good news of the kingdom of God to the whole world and then the end will come.

黙示録21章

１）また私は、新しい天と新しい地とを見た。以前の地は過ぎ去り、もはや海もない。

２）私はまた、聖なる都、新しいエルサレムが、夫のために飾られた花嫁のように整えられて、神のもとを出て、天から下って来るのを見た。

詩篇48編

１）主は大いなる方。大いにほめたたえられるべき方。その聖なる山、われらの神の都。

新しい天と新しい地

その日、主は御国と共に来られる

イザヤ書

65：17）見よ。まことにわたしは新しい天と新しい地を創造する。先の事は思い出されず、心に上ることもない。

18）だから、私の創造するものを、いつまでも楽しみ喜べ。見よ。わたしはエルサレムを創造して喜びとし、その民を楽しみとする。

66：22）「わたしの造る新しい天と新しい地が、わたしの前にいつまでも続くように、―主の御告げ。―　あなたがたの子孫と、あなたがたの名も、いつまでも続く。

23）毎月の祭りに、毎週の安息日に、すべての人（肉なる者）が、わたしの前に礼拝に来る。」と主は仰せられる。

第二ペテロ３章

10）しかし、主の日は、盗人のようにやって来ます。その日には、天は大きな響きを立てて消えうせ、天の万象は焼けくずれ去り、地と地のいろいろなわざは、焼き尽くされます。

11）このように、これらのものはみな、くずれ落ちるものだとすれば、あなたがたは、どれほど聖い生き方をする敬虔な人でなければならないことでしょう。

12）そのようにして、神の来る日を待ち望み、その日の来るのを早めなければなりません。その日が来れば、そのために、天は燃えくずれ、天の万象は焼け溶けてしまいます。

13）しかし、私たちは、神の約束に従って、正義の住む新しい天と地を待ち望みます。

ヘブル11章

13）これらの人々（エノク、ノア、アブラハム、イサク、ヤコブ等）はみな、信仰の人々として（エノク以外）死にましたが、はるかにそれを見て喜び迎え、地上では旅人であり寄留者であることを告白していたのです。

14）彼らはこのように言うことによって、自分の故郷（天の御国）を求めていることを示しています。

15）もし、出て来た故郷のことを思っていたのであれば、帰る機会はあったでしょう。

16）しかし、事実、彼らは、さらにすぐれた故郷、すなわち天の故郷（天の御国）にあこがれていたのです。それゆえ、神は彼らの神と呼ばれることを恥となさいませんでした。事実、神は彼らのために都（天のエルサレム）を用意しておられました。

ピリピ１章６節

あなたがたのうちに良い働きを始められた方（聖霊）は、キリスト・イエスの日が来るまでにそれを完成させてくださることを私は堅く信じているのです。

主の日には、キリストとともに天から御国（新しいエルサレム）が降りて来るようです。

主の日は用意のできていない人々には

盗人のようにやって来る

黙示録

16：15）―見よ。わたしは盗人のように来る。目をさまして、身に着物を着け、裸で歩く恥を人に見られないようにする者は幸いである。―

主の日は、神に従う者にとっては贖いの日となり

従わない者にとっては復讐の日となる

黙示録６章17節

御怒りの大いなる日が来たのだ。だれがそれに耐えられよう。

イザヤ書63章４節

わたしの心のうちに復讐の日があり、わたしの贖いの年が来たからだ。

エレミヤ書30章

７）ああ。その日は大いなる日、比べるものもない日だ。それはヤコブにも苦難の時だ。しかし彼はそれから救われる。

２：１）シオンで角笛を吹き鳴らし、わたしの聖なる山でときの声をあげよ。この地に住むすべての者は、わななけ。主の日が来るからだ。その日は近い。

２）やみと、暗黒の日。雲と暗闇の日。山々に広がる暁の光のように数多く強い民。このようなことは昔から起こったことがなく、これから後の代々の時代にも再び起こらない。

３）彼らの前では、火が焼き尽くし、彼らのうしろでは、炎がなめ尽くす。彼らの来る前には、この国はエデンの園のようであるが、彼らの去ったあとでは、荒れ果てた荒野となる。これから逃れる者は一つもない。

４）その有様は馬のようで、軍馬のように、駆け巡る。

５）さながら戦車のきしるよう、彼らは山々の頂をとびはねる。それは刈り株を焼き尽くす炎の音のよう、戦いの備えをした強い民のようである。

６）その前で国々の民はもだえ苦しみ、みなの顔は青ざめる。

７）それは勇士のように走り、戦士のように城壁をよじのぼる。それぞれ自分の道を進み、進路を乱さない。

８）互いに押し合わず、めいめい自分の大路を進んで行く。投げ槍がふりかかっても、止まらない。

９）それは町を襲い、城壁の上を走り、家々によじのぼり、盗人のように窓から入り込む。

10）その面前で地は震い、天は揺れる。太陽も月も暗くなり、星もその光を失う。

11）主は、ご自身の軍勢の先頭に立って声をあげられる。その隊の数は非常に多く、主の命令を行う者は力強い。主の日は偉大で、非常に恐ろしい。だれがこの日に耐えられよう。

主の日に集められた数多くの主の選びの民が、主の軍隊となって、最後の戦いに挑むようになるようです。

Revelation 21

1)And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2)And I john saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Psalm 48

1)Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.

2)Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great king,

3)God is known in her palaces for a refuge.

4)For, lo, the kings were assemnled, they passed by together.

5)They saw it, and so they marvelled; they were troubled, and hasted away.

6)Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail.

7)Thou breakes the ships of Tarshish with an east wind.

8)As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. Selah.

A new heaven and a new earth

On that day the Lord will come with his Kingdom.

Isaiah

65:17)For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

18)But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

66:22)For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.

23)And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

2Peter 3

10)But the day of the LORD will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

11)Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

12)Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissoleved, and the elements shall melt with ferven heat?

13)Neverthless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Hebrews 11

13)These (Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob) all died (except Enoch) in faith , not having recieved the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were wtrangeers and pilgrims on the earth.

14)For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country (The Kingdom of Heaven).

15)And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.

16)But now they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly (Kingdom): wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city (Jerusalem).

Philippians 1:6

Being confident of this very thing, that he (Holy Spirit) which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

On the Day of the Lord, It seems that the Kingdom (the New Jerusalem) will come down from heaven with Christ.

The Day of the Lord

will come like a thief to the unprepared.

Revelation

16:15)Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

3:1)And unto the antel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.

2)Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.

3)Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

4)Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.

5)He that overvometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my father, and before his angels.

6)He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

The day of the Lord will be a day of redemption for those who obey God, and a day of vengeance for those who disobey.

Revelation 6:17

For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Isaiah 63:4

For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.

Jeremiah 30

7)Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it.

8)For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselbes of him:

9)But they shall serve the LORD God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.

Joel 1:15

Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almmighty shall it come.

The Lord's army

Joel 2

1)Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitatants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;

2)A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.

3)A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flamme burneth; desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.

4)The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.

5)Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.

6)Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.

7)They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:

8)Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.

9)They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.

10)The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark. and the stars shall withdraw their shining:

11)And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

It is likely that the multitude of the Lord's chosen people, gathered on the Day of the Lord, will become His army to fight the final battle.

一つの群れ ー One flock ー

3月25日の朝、夢を見ました。
どんな夢だったのか正確には覚えていませんが、「アブラハムはオリーブの木だ」という声が聞こえてきて、目が覚めました。
I had a dream in the morning on March 25th.
Although I don't remember the exactry what about the dream was, I heard the voice said, "Abraham is the olive trees" and then I wake up.

これはイスラエルのことを意味しているのではないかと、すぐに頭に浮かびました。なぜなら、オリーブの木はイスラエルを象徴し、アブラハムは彼らの最初の祖先だからです。

I cricked my mind soon what this means about Israel.
Because the olive tree smbolises Israel and Abraham is their very first ancester.

そして、次の日の早朝、午前2時20分に天使の歌声で目が覚めました。その歌声は、私が以前聞いたことのある贖罪についての賛美歌でした。

And then next very early morning, it was at 2:20am, I woke up angels singing sound. That singing voice was same hymn about redemption I've haerd before.

イザヤ書56章

４）真に主はこう仰せられる。「わたしの安息日を守り、わたしの喜ぶ事を喜び、わたしの契約を堅く保つ宦官たちには、

５）わたしの家、わたしの城壁のうちで、息子、娘たちにもまさる分け前と名を与え、絶えることのない永遠の名※1を与える。

６）また、主に連なって主に仕え、主の名を愛して、そのしもべとなった外国人がみな、安息日を守ってこれを汚さず、わたしの契約を堅く保つなら、

７）わたしは彼らを、わたしの聖なる山に連れて行き、わたしの祈りの家で彼らを楽しませる。彼らの全焼のいけにえやその他のいけにえは、私の祭壇の上で受け入れられる。わたしの家は、すべての民の祈りの家と呼ばれるからだ。

８）―イスラエルの散らされた者たちを集められた者たちに（九十九匹の羊）※2、さらに集めて(一匹の羊）※3加えよう(一つの群れとなる）。

2：17）耳のある者は御霊が諸教会に言われることを聞きなさい。わたしは勝利を得る者に隠れたマナを与える。また、彼に白い石を与える。その石には、それを受ける者のほかだれも知らない、新しい名が書かれている。

３：５）勝利を得る者は、このように白い衣を着せられる。そして、わたしは、彼の名をいのちの書から消すようなことは決してしない。わたしは彼の名をわたしの父の御名と御使いたちの前で言い表す。

千年王国の終わりに行なわれる白い御座の裁きで、命の書から名前が消されてしまう人もいるということを意味しているような気がします。

黙示録20章

12）また私は、死んだ人々が、大きい者も、小さい者も御座の前に立っているのを見た。そして、数々の書物が開かれた。また、別の一つの書物も開かれたが、それは、いのちの書であった。死んだ人々は、これらの書物に書きしるされているところに従って、自分の行いに応じてさばかれた。

13）海はその中にいる死者を出し、死もハデス（黄泉）も、その中にいる死者を出した。そして人々はおのおの自分の行いに応じてさばかれた。

14）それから、死とハデスとは、火の池に投げ込まれた。これが第二の死である。

15）いのちの書に名のしるされていない者はみな、この火の池に投げ込まれた。

20）彼らは、すべての国々から、あなたがたの同胞をみな、主への贈り物として、馬、車、かご、騾馬、らくだに乗せて、わたしの聖なる山、エルサレムに連れて来る。」と主は仰せられる。「それはちょうど、宮に携えて来るのと同じである。

21）わたしは彼らの中からある者を選んで祭司とし、レビ人とする。」と主は仰せられる。

ヨハネ10章16節

わたしにはまた、この囲いに属さないほかの羊があります。わたしはそれをも導かなければなりません。彼らはわたしの声に聞き従い、一つの群れ、ひとりの牧者となるのです。

Isaiah 56 (KJV)

4)For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;

5)Even unto them will give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name※1, that shall not be cut off.

6)Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of theLORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and takenth hold of my covenant;

7)Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine alter; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

8)The LORD GOD, which gathereth the outcasts of Israel (ninety-nine sheep) saith※2, Yet will I gather others (one sheep) to him※3, beside those that are gathered unto him (to become one flock).

2:17)Her that hath an ear, let him hear whta the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

3:5)He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and beforehis angels.

I think it means that at the White Throne Judgment at the end of the millennium, some names will be blotted out of the Book of Life.

Revelation 20

12)And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were weitten in the books, according to their works.

13)And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14)And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15)And whoseoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

20)And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean veseel into the house of the LORD.

21)And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the LORD.

John 10:16

And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
