1:６）あなたがたのうちに良い働きを始められた方（聖霊）は、キリスト・イエスの日が来るまでにそれを完成させてくださることを私は堅く信じているのです。
10）あなたがたが、真にすぐれたものを見分けることができるようになりますように。またあなたがたが、キリストの日には純真で非難されるところがなく、
11）イエス・キリストによって与えられる義の実に満たされている者となり、神の御栄えと誉れが現されますように。
２：16）いのちのことばをしっかり握って、彼らの間で世の光として輝くためです。そうすれば、私は、自分の努力したことがむだではなく、苦労したこともむだでなかったことを、キリストの日に誇ることが出来ます。
Philippians 1(KJV)
6)Being confident of this very thing that he (Holy Spirit) which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
10)That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ.
11)Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
2:16)Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

２）霊によってでも、あるいはことばによってでも、あるいは私たちから出たかのような手紙によってでも、主の日がすでに来たかのように言われるのを聞いて、すぐに落ち着きを失ったり、心を騒がせたりしないでください。
３）だれにも、どのようにも、だまされないようにしなさい。なぜなら、まず背教が起こり、不法の人、すなわち滅びの子が現れなければ、主の日は来ないからです。
2Thessalonians 2
2)That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3)Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.

24）いなずまが、ひらめいて、天の端から天の端へと輝くように、人の子は、人の子（イエス・キリスト）の日には、ちょうどそのようであるからです。
26）人の子の日に起こることは、ちょうどノアの日に起こったことと同様です。
27）ノアが箱舟にはいるその日まで、人々は、食べたり、飲んだり、めとったり、とついだりしていたが、洪水が来て、すべての人を滅ぼしてしまいました。

29）ロトがソドムから出て行くと、その日に、火と硫黄が天から降って、すべての人を滅ぼしてしまいました。
30）人の子の現れる日にも、全くそのとおりです。
Luke 17
24)For as the lightning that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.
26)And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
27)They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
28)Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
29)But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30)Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

2Thessalonians 1:7
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels.
第一ペテロ１章
７)信仰の試練(純粋さ）は、火を通して精錬されてもなお朽ちて行く金よりも尊いのであって、イエス・キリストの現われのときに称賛と光栄と栄誉に至るものであることがわかります。
13)ですから、あなたがたは、心を引き締め、身を慎み、イエス・キリストの現われのときあなたがたにもたらされる恵みを、ひたすら待ち望みなさい。

7)That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.
13)Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

28）そこで、子どもたちよ。キリストのうちにとどまっていなさい。それは、キリストが現れるとき、私たちが信頼を持ち、その来臨のとき、御前で恥じ入るということのないためです。
29）もしあなたがたが、神は正しい方であると知っているなら、義を行う者がみな神から生まれたこともわかるはずです。

28)And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
29)If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

12）愛する者たち。あなたがたを試みるためにあなたがたの間に燃えさかる火の試練を、何か思いがけないことが起こったかのように驚き怪しむことなく、
13）むしろ、キリストの苦しみにあずかれるのですから、喜んでいなさい。それは、キリストの栄光が現れるときにも、喜びおどる者となるためです。
14）もしキリストの名のために非難を受けるなら、あなたがたは幸いです。なぜなら、栄光の御霊、すなわち神の御霊があなたがたの上にとどまってくださるからです。

12)Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
13)But rejoice, inasmch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
14)If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil sporken, but on your part he is glorified.

人の子は父の栄光を帯びて、御使いたちとともに、やがて来ようとしているのです。その時には、おのおのその行いに応じて報いをします。
