so, what did you do in the golden week (long holiday weekend)?? in my case, i did nothing special, just did regular chores..... i enjoyed taking a nap in this really nice weather though. anyway, since tomorrow is the last day of the holiday season, i may go out tomorrow even though it's forecasted to rain tomorrow.

this is an inflatable ball used mainly for fitness exercise and is about 20cm in diameter. the other day, my wife told me to put this ball in between backrest of the chair and lower back in order to adjust posture while seating. so, i sometimes use it. actually, it makes my back straighten up. my point for using the ball is that i don't fully inflate.
これは直径20センチほどの膨らまして使用するボールで、主にフィットネスのエクササイズで用いられているようです。先日、椅子に座っている間は姿勢を正すためにこのボールを椅子の背もたれと腰の間に挟みなさいと、うちの奥さんに教えられまして。というわけで、たまに使用しています。確かに、背筋を真っ直ぐにさせてくれます。自分が使用する際のポイントとしては、完全に膨らませないということ。

oxygen to drink in daily basis
this is highly oxygenated water, and it actually has the world's highest oxygen filling rate (according to the description on the bottle); 35 times more oxygen containd than regular mineral water. do i need that much of oxygen? maybe..... i wish i could feel the difference.

my wife and i ate out with my ex-colleague and his wife (they are newlyweds) in shibuya. the place we went to was "ton-chan" where they serve korean pork bbq. pork shown in above pic is pork back rib. we got there little after 5:00pm, and there were only a couple of tables available at that time. so we got one table, and it was packed soon after. in less than an hour, there was a long line, waiting to eat. all the food was really delicious!! waiters take care of the pork on th grill, so that we can just wait until it's ready to eat. and also, don't forget to order "doburoku (unrefined sake)" served in a big bowl. it's got little bit of sour taste, kinda like yogurt, and it tastes really good.
うちら夫婦と元同僚とその奥さん（新婚さん）とで渋谷でご飯を食べることに。行ったところは豚肉系韓国焼肉の「とんちゃん」です。上の写真に写っているのは豚バラ。で、夕方の5時ちょい過ぎに行ったんですが、その時点で既に空いているテーブルは2つくらい。すぐに座ることができたんですが、あっという間に満席。それで1時間もしないうちに、順番待ちの長い列が。食べ物はどれもこれも美味い!! ウェイターさんが豚肉の焼き加減やなんか全てをケアしてくれるため、うちらは食べるのを待つのみ。それから、「どぶろく（濁り酒）」をオーダーすることも忘れずに。ちょっとヨーグルトっぽいすっぱい感じで美味しい。

then we went to lohb to have little more drinks. since it was dinner time, each of us had to order at least one food (even though we're kinda full). so all of us ordered appetizers, which were all good (i wasn't expecting that). and as always, i finished up with dessert and coffee (this time, it was espresso).
それから、もう少しお酒を飲みたかったのでローブへ移動。ちょうどディナー・タイムだったため、（お腹一杯だったんですが）一人一品の食べ物をオーダーしなければなりませんでした。というわけで全員が前菜系をオーダー。（期待していなかったのですが）これがどれも美味しかった。そして最後はいつものようにデザートとコーヒー（今回はエスプレッソ）で締め。

i have never been there but my wife. i wish i could be there..... if you will be in kyushu on that date, i recommend to go the party and enjoy the music, food (and drink) and nature together. keep the nature alive!!

since i posted my watch yesterday, i contnue to post some of my antique watches. i have more but they are not with me right now. key points to watches, in my case, are that they need to have at least both day and date on dial plate, and if possible, world time.
昨日、時計のことを書きましたのでついでに幾つかのアンティーク・ウォッチを引き続き。もっと色々あるんですが、持ってきませんでした。自分の場合、腕時計に関するポイントとしては、まずは少なくとも文字盤に日付と曜日がついていなければならず、あとは可能であれば世界時計も。

this is a bulova automatic watch made in n3 which means 1973. it still keeps (almost) accurate time. i like automatic watch simply because i don't have to change battery. got this from ebay.

this is another automatic bulova, made in n4 which means 1974. i really like the overall design, and it still keeps accurate time. got this at flea market in the us (for about $10).
