oh, as i recall, i met a person whom i hadn't seen for a long time the other day, and the person said "what's up with that hinky hair style?" umm, i couldn't respond to that comment..... i kinda felt down by that.
あ、そういえば先日、久しぶりに会った人から「なに、その胡散臭い髪型～？」と言われてしまいました。あぁぁ、返答できませんでした・・・。ちょっとへこんでしまった次第です。

saturday night, i went to la fabrique's 7th year anniversary presented by solid with special guest james curd of greenskeepers. it's always good to ride on the tracks of chi-town inspired house music. i was also glad to see the faces of solid crews. and i got hyped up when i heard jene farris old track, summer affair? (if i remember correctly) played by dj kai.
土曜の夜はsolid主催のla fabrique7周年記念パーティーでgreenskeepersのjames curdがスペシャル・ゲストということでla fabriqueへ。シカゴ・ハウス系に身を委ねるのって良い気持ちです。久々にsolidクルーの方々とお会いできたのも良かった。で、dj kaiが（記憶が正しければ）gene farrisの懐かしい曲をプレイした時には、一人でアガっていました。
then i left la fabrique and headed to deja vu where candy was held. take-san was playing when i got there, and i saw him playing with a new tool: yeah, he finally became pc dj! i hope he'll get well soon, take care, man!
それからキャンディーが開催されているdeja vuへ移動。到着した時にはタケさんが新しいツールでプレイ中でした。そう、とうとうpc djになっていました！ 早く良くなりますように。
and then i went up to lounge roots and had chit-chat with regulars. everyone was drunk.....
更にそれから階段を上がってlounge rootsへ行き、常連さんとおしゃべり。みんな、酔っ払いだぁ・・・。

another info from my wife: the only smell which affects your diet is the smell of grapefruit..... i'm like, "oh yeah? is that so?" but that's what she read in the book. maybe, it's worth trying. anyway, i'm amazed with endless endeavor of dietary world. so, pick whatever you liked and stick with it. the important point is being healthy.
うちの奥さんからの新たな情報：ダイエットに影響を及ぼす唯一の匂いはグレープフルーツの匂いだそうです・・・。「へぇ、そうなの？」ってな感じですが、読んだ本にそう書いてあったみたい。試す価値はあるのかな。それにしても、この手の世界の終わりなき試みにはただただ驚きます。これだと思ったのがあったら、それを続けるべきでしょう。大切なのは健康でいることなんですから。

according to my wife, who has been trying many different types of dieting (healthy dietary habit, rather than the dieting to lose weight) not only for her body but also for acquiring knowledge, latest dieting is "natural diet." first of all, i thought that i should emphasize on breakfast and luch because it's the start of or in the middle of day you use your body and brain but she says i should emphasize on lunch and dinner. for the breakfast, a finger of banana is enough. it still doesn't sound right to me though.
自身の身体のためだけでなく、知識を得るためにも様々なダイエット（いわゆる体重を落とすためのダイエットというよりも、健康な食習慣という意味で）を試みているうちの奥さんによると、最新のダイエットは「ナチュラル・ダイエット」らしいです。まずは身体や脳を使う上での一日の始まり、そして中間である朝食と昼食に重点を置くべきだと思っていたんですが、重点を置くのは昼食と夕食だそうです。朝食としてはバナナ一本で十分である、と。未だにちょっと腑に落ちないんですが。
and 70% of the food you consume on the daily basis should be uncooked vegetables and./or fruits. drinking water is important but you should take fluid from raw vegetables and/fruts as much as possible. animal albumin/protein and carbohydrate should be separated, means you should not consume at the same time (so, no beef bowl.....).
で、日々の食事の70％は生の野菜や果物にすべきらしい。水を飲むことは大切ですが、生の野菜や果物からできるだけ多くの水分を取り入れるようにした方が良いそう。食事の際に動物性タンパク質と炭水化物は別々にすべきであり、つまりは一緒に食べない（じゃぁ、牛丼などはダメか・・・）。
if you get hungry, you should eat raw fruits and/or vegetables, and it would be good if you eat raw vegetables before main dish. so, salad does make sense.
お腹が空いたらやっぱり果物、野菜などで補い、メインの食事の前に生野菜などを食べると良いとのこと。前菜でのサラダは妥当だったということですね。

so, i have posted about scott hardkiss new album, "technicolor dreamer." according to him, all the production work has done, and the album will finally be released this summer. can't wait anymore!
i cannot imagine how many obstacles he had to go over in order to release the album but i respect a lot for his passion/love for the music and patience.
スコット・ハードキスのニュー・アルバム「テクニカラー・ドリーマー」については、これまでにも何度か書きましたが、彼曰く、全ての制作作業は完了してとうとう今夏にリリースされるそうです。これ以上待ちきれない！
アルバム・リリースにあたって、どれだけ困難な局面を乗り越えてきたのか想像も出来ないところですが、スコットの音楽に対する情熱や愛情、そして忍耐強さを尊敬します。

for the first time in such a long time, i had pancake. yes, i realized anew that i like it. with regard to pancake mix, i like japanese mix rather than american mix as japanese one is sweet. sweet or non-sweet, i guess it's because americans eat pancake as meal, not as desert whereas japanese eat more like as kind of snack. having said so, some americans pour a whole lot of syrup on the pancake though. oh, i miss ihop

久しぶりにホットケーキ。うん、やっぱり好きですね、ホットケーキ。ホットケーキ・ミックスに関しては日本の方が甘いのでアメリカのものよりも好きです。アメリカでは食事として食べる一方、日本ではどちらかと言えばおやつ感覚で食べているのが甘いミックスと甘くないミックスの違いでしょうか。とは言いつつも、これでもかっていうくらいシロップをかけているアメリカ人もいますが。あぁ、アイホップ が恋しい・・・。

straw-like hat in unusual black. quite simple, and actually, black version is pretty good. i have never thought about getting this kind of hat before as i have thought this would not fit into my character but this time, i got this. maybe, i've got influenced by takeshi-san. i thought black would be unusual for this types of hats but in this year, there is a whole lot out there.
i'm still not sure if this kind of hat would be good on me but hey who cares.
黒いストロー（のような）ハット。とてもシンプルで実際、黒はなかなか良い感じです。キャラ的に自分に似合うとは思っていなかったんで、これまでこの類の帽子には意識が行かなかったんですが、なぜか今回はこれを手に。多分、武士さんの影響かも、です。黒ってあまり見ない色と思っていたんですが、今は色々あるみたいですね。
で、未だ持ってこの帽子が似合うのかどうか分かりません。が、気にする必要もなし、ということで。

new addition to my button down shirts. oxford shirt in fresh sax color, which would be good for spring season. the good thing about this shirt is that i don't need ironing after washing. yet, if you do the ironing, the shirt will be suitable for proper occasion.

ボタンダウンの新顔。爽やかなサックスのオックスフォード・シャツ、今の季節にちょうど良い。この類のシャツの良いところは洗濯後にアイロンをかけなくてもokなところ。それでもってアイロンをかければ、それなりの場所にも着ていけるというところですね。
