by chance, we watched "music tiger" the other day. omg, those japanese versions of filksongs (changed to japanese words which sounded similar to the original english lyrics) were just great. pure late-night show (it wasn't that late night though).

went to cut my hair, actually, i just trimmed tip of my hair. so, nothing drastically changed. i'd rather keep my hair style same but my wife said that she wanted to change her hair style once in a while. i wonder where this kind of feeling comes from.
髪を切りに。と言っても、毛先を揃えただけなので見た目は全く同じ。どちらかと言えば同じ髪型を維持したいタイプなんですが、うちの奥さんの場合はしばらく経つと髪型を変えたくなるみたい。この気持ちって、どこから出てくるもんなんですかね。

even though i haven't finished reading the book i got from my wife the other day, she gave me another book. she's such a fast reader! need to read more in order to learn expression skill in japanese.

「グワシ」のポーズが上手くできない・・・。
i like warmer climate but the warmer climate causes a problem in my body. i am not like a heavy sweater but my palms and soles of my feet. if i use notebook in this season, the paper will get wrinkled because of the sweat from my palm. so, i have put something under my palm. besides, probably due to something strong in the component of my sweat, almost all the bracelets made from metal or silver get rusted or oxidized soon.....
暖かい気候って好きなんですが、この気候が身体に問題をもたらしてしまうんですよね。自分は汗っかきではありませんが、手足だけがね。この時期にノートなんかを使うと掌からの汗のせいですぐにふやけてしまう。だから、掌の下に何かしら敷かなければなりません。また、汗の中に強い成分でも入っているのか、金属性・シルバー製のブレスレットなんかすぐに錆びちゃったり酸化しちゃったり・・・。

i went to eat gyoza (dumpling) with my wife and her friend ykr-chan. omg, i've never had so many different kinds of dumplings at once. all the dumplings were delicious and also the good thing about them was that the most of the dumpling sizes were like bite-size. so that we could try many of them.
うちの奥さん、そして友人のykrちゃんと一緒に餃子屋さんに。いやぁ、これだけ様々な種類の餃子を一度に食べたことはありませんでした。どの餃子も美味しく、あとほとんどの餃子が一口サイズだったのも良かったです。色々な餃子を食べられますからね。

when i look down the coffee table with sleepy eyes, i saw these two things. for a instant moment, i thought they were both cakes. but actually, front one is a soap..... it looks delicious though. anyway, this was today's ambiguous moment.

i went to take a lecture. have you used or written the word, "metaphor" in your daily life? me? of course, not! but i could have a glimpse of behind the scene of the editing world. anyway, i hope my skill will get improved by the end of the series of lectures.
とある講義を受講。「メタファー」などという言葉、日々の生活の中で使ったり書いたりしたことってありますか？ 僕はどうかって？ 勿論、そんな経験無し！ でも、編集の裏側を垣間見れたような気もします。ともあれ、一連の講義終了時にはスキルが向上していますように。

i barely read books, and so far in this year, i have read only one book. i admit that reading is good. even if you don't follow what told in the books, what you read is still in your head. finally, i started to read this book, which was strongly recommended by my wife who reads about a hundred books in a year (may be too much exaggeration?). i wonder what's in this book.
it may be good to take this opportunity to read more books in this year.
読書ってほとんどしません。で、今年これまでに読んだ本もたったの1冊。たとえ、本に書いてあることに従わなかったとしても、それでも頭の中のどこかにはそれが納まっているでしょうし、読書は良いことだっていうのは自分でも分かっているつもりです。それでもって年間100冊くらいは読んでいる（大げさか？）うちの奥さんの強い薦めで、やっとこの本を読み始めました。さて、どんなことが書かれているんでしょうか。
これを機に、今年は本を読んでみるというのも良いかもしれませんね。

as i anticipated, the content of the parcel was cds: advance copies of scott hardkiss' first solo album "technicolor dreamer"!! i have already listened to this album for several times, and man, this is dope! i really enjoy the 63 minutes and 43 seconds of musical journey. more arrangements were added to the tracks contained in the demo cd, which made them richer. tracks in this album are the mixtures of rock, pop, funk, soul, breaks, etc. with the essences of space/trance kind of synths, effected vocals/guitars as well as wide variety of additional vocals by lisa shaw , britta phillips , bobby harden , stevvi alexander , tabitha fair , larita gaskins , stephanie diaz-matos and the prophetz .
