ヴィレッジ・ピープルの曲で一番好きな
「キャント・ストップ・ザ・ミュージック」です。
ヴィレッジ・ピープルが主人公の
ミュージカル映画のタイトル・トラックです。
映画は見たことがないのですが、
この曲は中学生の頃によく聴いてました。
この音楽を止められる者は誰もいない♪ と
繰り返すサビの名残惜しいような
そんな雰囲気が好きなんです。(笑)
ですが、映画も曲も特に大きなヒットにつながらず
この曲辺りを境にして勢いは止まってしまった・・・
って、皮肉かもですね。。。
