Best Hip Hug-Her昨日はブッカー・Ｔ・ジョーンズの誕生日ということにちなんで
Booker T. & The MG'sを聴きながらコーヒー・タイムと
風呂上り金麦タイムにしました。
Booker T. & The MG's の曲の中で好きな曲を挙げれば
まず真っ先に出てくるのは「グリーン・オニオンズ(Green Onions)」が
迷わずに出てくる・・・どころか、一番好きな曲は？と聞かれても
この「グリーン・オニオンズ(Green Onions)」を挙げちゃうかも・・・
なワケですが、でも、じゃ、2番目は？と聞かれるとものすごく弱い。。。
悩んじゃうんです。。。
なぜなら、それは。。。
どの曲も同じくらい好きだから。。。
ま、全部の曲を聞いたことがあるってワケじゃありませんが、
どれもみんな好きなんです。
オリジナル曲もいいし、カバー曲もオリジナル性があって
原曲とはまた全然違う良さが出ています。
オルガンの音ってのが好きなのかもしれませんね。
一歩間違えば昔のスーパーのBGMみたいですけれどね。
あ、でも、その昔のスーパーのBGM風なイージーリスニング系も
結構好きだったりしますけどね。
強いて、強いて、強いて2番目を挙げればこの曲かな？？
ってのが、ヤング・ラスカルズ(The Young Rascals) の1967年の
No.1ヒット曲「グルーヴィン」かな・・・
いや、決めかねる・・・あ、でもいいや、この曲で。。。
