最近、実家から手紙を届きました。
「勲章授与式について」を連絡されました。
I recently received a letter from my parents.
They contacted me about the "medal award ceremony."
私、日本の留学から5年ですが、
タイで献血は80回以上記入したため、
枢密院様から「Red Cross Medal of Appreciation, 3rd class」をもらいました。
I have been studying in Japan for five years,
and I have donated blood more than 80 times in Thailand,
so I received the "Red Cross Medal of Appreciation, 3rd class" presented by Privy Council.
学生時代が達成しても、2024年に授与？
Even if I achieved it during my student days, will I be awarded it in 2024?

だから、今回はタイでの献血と日本での献血の違いは後日書きたいと思いますが、
日本で献血経験について書きたいと思います。
So, I'll write about the differences between donating blood in Thailand and Japan at a later date,
but I want to write about my experience donating blood in Japan.
タイで献血後にジューズやオバルチンを飲みました。
こんな甘い飲み物はよく覚えました。
日本んでコーヒーからコーラーまであって、
とても便利なサービスです。
After donating blood in Thailand, I drank Juice and Ovaltine.
I'm quite fond of such sweet drinks.
In Japan, they have everything from coffee to Cola,
so it's a very convenient service.
私は日本で16回の献血経験は、
何度も快適な献血だと思います。
アプリで予約できることから、献血しながら飲めることまで
私は日本での献血がハマってます。
I have donated blood in Japan 16 times,
and I think it is a comfortable experience no matter how many times I donate blood.
From being able to make reservations via app to being able to drink while donating blood,
I am hooked on donating blood in Japan.
タイで献血をするとき、
記念に特別なプレゼントがもらえました。
日本でも、天神の献血ルーム3周年記念で、
洗剤をもらいました。自分でも気づかなかったのですが。
At the time of blood donation in Thailand,
Some special gifts were provided to comomenmorate.
In Japan too, for 3th anniversary of blood donation room in Tenjin,
I got detergent, even I didn't realized about that.
これがタイなら、洗剤はリストから外れすぎです。
タイではシャツが贈り物として一般的です。
(または新年のカレンダー)
If this is in Thailand, detergents are too far from the list.
In Thailand, shirt is common as gift.
(Or calendar duting new year season)
しかし、タイでの献血の価値は、与えることと功績に関するものです。
そのため、仏教のお守りも一般的です。
But the value of blood donation in Thailand is about giving and merit,
So Bhudhist amulets are common too.
そして、与えることによる貢献のため、
「Red Cross Medal of Appreciation, 3rd class」の通知を受け取りました。
(ちなみにこれは国の勲章のため、公式の式典があるときに胸につけることができます。)
And because of contribution by giving,
That's why I got a notice about "Red Cross Medal of Appreciation, 3rd class".
(It is state medal by the way, so I can put on the chest when there is official ceremony.)
私は出席するのでしょうか?
お金がありません。
And will I attend?
I don't have money.
