仙台七夕の時期です。

8月に七夕を行うのが、この地域ならではの特徴です。

It is Sendai Tanabata.
Where tanabata is on August to be unique here.

AER20は、仙台駅の近くにあるため、

人気の献血スポットの一つです。
私は仙台という街がとても好きで、そこにいるとリラックスした気分になれます。

AER20 is one of the favorite blood donation place,
Because it is nearby the Sendai station.
I am quite like and feel relaxed at Sendai.

親しみやすい雰囲気の場所でしたが、

何度か通ううちに顔を覚えてもらえたかどうかは、

正直なところよく分かりませんでした。
それでも、他の場所と同じように、そこでの時間を楽しむことができました。

Feeling friendly room there, but I felt whether they recognized me after several visits or not.
I enjoyed there, actually, just like everywhere else.

一番よく見かける記念品は「ずんだパウンドケーキ」です。

地元の雰囲気を味わえるとはいえ、正直なところ、それほど魅力的とは言えません。

福岡で献血をする方が、もっと変化に富んでいて面白い記念品があります。

The most common souvenir there is zunda pound cake.
Feeling like local, but to be honest, not so much attractive.
Going blood donation in Fukuoka feels more various.

仙台での開催は今回で50回目、そして最後となります。
タイで献血をする際、赤十字の感謝メダルなどを特に求めず、

ごく当たり前のこととして行うのと同じような、自然な感覚です。

This is the 50th time and the last time in Sendai.
Feeling too normal, just like in Thailand who goes blood donation

Without going for the Red Cross Medal of Appreciation.

タイでの50回目の献血で、赤十字感謝状（3等）を授与されました。
授与されるまでに5～6年かかりました。
しかも、授与してくれたのは枢密顧問官の方です。
なのに、今まで受け取っていませんでした。

50th blood donation in Thailand results in the Red Cross Medal of Appreciation (3rd class).
It tooks almost 5-6 years to obtain it,
And it is the privy council member who presents.
And I still didn't take it until now.

現地で景品を選ぶのとは、間違いなく違いますね。
それに、タイの制度にはもう一つメリットがあります。
複数回献血を行うと、赤十字社の病院でのサービスを割引価格で利用できるようになるのです。

Not like the choosing prizes at the place for sure.
And Thailand's one has one more benefit.
Several blood donations can go for Red Cross Society's hospital with discounted price.

それは私にとって宮城での思い出です。
実際には誰も気づいていませんでしたが。

It is the memory for me in Miyagi.
Although no one realized about it, actually.

献血に行くたびに、宮城のこういうところを実感します。
他の場所での献血とは対照的です。
もしあの時宮城で留学したら、

私の考え方は変わっていたかもしれません。

Every time I went for blood donation, this is what I feel Miyagi.
In contrast of blood donation at the elsewhere.
If that time I studied in Miyagi, my mind would have changed.
