Lesson6 The Impact of Changing Demographics（人口動態変化の影響）の第1回目です。
■ working dinner
ワーキングディナー（ビジネス会議を兼ねたディナー）を意味します。workingには、「仕事がらみの」という意味があります。working lunch [ breakfast ], power breakfast [ lunch ] といった言い回しもあります。なお、working capitalといえば、「運転資金」のことです。
■ coordinate busy schedules
「多忙なスケジュールを調整する」という意味で、 coordinateは harmonize in a common action or effortという意味となります。
■ backward-looking agenda
「後ろ向きの議題」という意味です。backward-lookingの反意語は、 forward-lookingです。
■ rambling rumination about
「･･･についてのくどくどしたとりとめのない話」の意味で、talking for a long time and in an aimless mannerということです。
■ It gave us a good perspectives on how social change affected business culture.
(それは)社会の変化が企業文化にどのように影響を及ぼしてきたかについて、優れた視点を与えた。
perspective on ～に関する視点
■ a good dose of
「たっぷりの･･･」という意味で、doseは「（薬）の一服」という意味があります。doseの類義語にdosage（投薬量）もありますね。
■ anticipate and respond to the needs and desires of our customers
顧客の共謀とニーズを先読みする、という意味です。
anticipateは「予期する」という意味で、foreseeと同義です。
また、respond to 「～に応える」です。
■ It's fair to say that
「･･･といってもよい」という意味です。It's safe to say ･･･とも言えます。
■ adjust to these social changes
「 社会の変化に適応する」という意味です。ここではadjustは自動詞として使われているので、前置詞toは必要です。
